Yes, Brazil is out of 2026 world cup. I can not say only Erling Haaland helped although he scored the two goals, but the same person did the assists which was Andreas Schjelderup. Also we have to acknowledge Norway keeper for defending, and also defenders and other players really tried.

I never imagined that Brazil would be eliminated from the World Cup like this, losing 1-2 to Norway. I was very optimistic today that Brazil would beat Norway and advance to the quarter-finals, but today I was very optimistic from the beginning that Brazil would win and they would break all the past records, but that didn't happen anymore, finally Brazil had to be eliminated. However, every player from Norway played very well, their game must be praised.

I will openly say Norway's victorious breakthrough in today's game is as a result of the unanimous efforts of all in the team and given it to Erling Haaland who scored the goals or Andreas Schjelderup who gave all the assets is not advisable. 
From the beginning it was a very difficult game for Norway because they entered with fear believing Brazil will destroy them the same way they did to others which was why they lost it in possession and only concentrated in goal scoring after Brazil gave them the hope of victory after missing the penalty awarded to them in the first half.
Although I will say Norway did surprise the world because even now I am still shock seeing Brazil have been sent packing after all the quality players present in there team.

I personally like both teams, but since one of them has to be eliminated, my pick will most likely be Brazil, without underestimating Norway at all. However, if it goes to a penalty shootout, Norway could have a better chance.

In my opinion, Erling Halland is worth more than the whole Brazilian team so I wouldn't be surprised if he just obliterates them alone.

However, the strength of a chain is in its weakest link, and that's where Brazil edges and will probably end up exploiting Norway's weak spots.

You can't say that Erling Haaland alone dismantled Brazil because it wasn't Haaland alone that played that match for Norway the winning came as a result of team work though Haaland turned out to be the man of the match after he scored all 2 goals for Norway that resulted to the elimination of Brazil. It was a surprising win though i my self i never thought that Norway will eliminate Brazil in this world cup, i saw Neymar crying after the match.

Brazil was defeated once again by Norway—a team they have never managed to beat. Ancelotti is undoubtedly the person most responsible for this outcome; his decision to bring Neymar and Endrick into the match was the primary reason.
Incidentally, looking at the possession stats during the game, I could have easily mistaken Norway for Barcelona and Brazil for Real Madrid.
It played out just like a match between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Neymar's last-minute penalty goal was nothing more than a statistic. In my opinion, this is the best squad Norway has ever fielded.

To be honest I already post here that Brazil is bit favorite for victory but we should also need to look Norway because they have an amazing attack as well as have a strong defensive approach. So it can cause a little trouble for Brazil and honestly what I said turn out to be true. It really sorry for the Brazilians because they were in super excited mode but unfortunately they lost they unexpected match. Norway was strongly dominating the match with ball possion until they gran the lead despite initially Brazil made a lot of effort but unfortunately got nothing even miss a penalty.

Congratulations to the Norwegian team. Norway has qualified for the quarter-finals for the first time in their history. This is undoubtedly a great achievement for them.

I expected a competitive match. But I thought Brazil would have the last laugh. But they lost the match 2-1. Brazil made a lot of mistakes in this match. So I am  not surprised by this result.

The Brazilian players lost their  morale at the beginning of the match. The goal was disallowed due to  offside. Then , after missing a penalty, the performance of the brazilian players became more erratic. Brazil was able to  make several good attacks at the beginning of the second  half. But their defense was vulnerable. Haaland took  advantage of this opportunity well.

Brazil should come back again in the next world cup but they time they should have a more solid team because the Brazil team I watched in this world cup cwn be defeated by any team and today Norway sent them home by defeating them comfortably by 1:2 with both goals scored by the goal machine himself Haaland. That penalty miss caused Brazil the game cause if Bruno Guimareas had given them the advantage through his goal 5hr motivation to hustle for more goals would be in the team but all the same they are out Haaland made it difficult for them to qualify to the nest round.a

I agree this Brazil team aren't among the best teams in this World Cup tournament and they aren't also among the favourites but I disagree with you that they can be defeated by any team because teams as such as Tunisia, Haiti, and many more to mention can't defeat this Brazil team. Had Bruno Guimaraes scored the penalty and give Brazil a lead in the 14 minute, Brazil would had won this game but even as he failed to convert the penalty into a goal, I won't say the penalty miss caused Brazil the game because Endrick had a one on one he could have used to give Brazil a lead but failed he played the ball wide and missed a clear chance created by Vinicius Junior so I will say the chance Endrick missed caused Brazil the game.

Brazil escaped Japan, that was a red flag, any serious team was going to eliminate this Brazilian team and Norway just did that. It was unexpected because they were playing against Brazil. I have been hearing people say this Brazil is not the old Brazil, I don't know because I haven't watched them before but I have heard names of the people who represented them a d from the records, they did well, so in that note I will agree with it that this Brazil is never the Brazil I do hear of. Since 2014, Brazil has always been in an exciting mood while going to the world cup and I think from 2014 till date, their best run has been in that 2014, the rest has ended in premium tears.

Thet Bruno Guimareas penalty miss during the first half of the game must have affected them. That was the penalty which should have seen them ahead. I don't like the fact that they have been knocked out but what can I even do to help? Nothing!

Norway missed out on the last World Cup even with Haaland and the likes of Odegaard and co in the squad, many fans wanted to see what Erling Haaland would do at the World Cup, now we’re witnessing it. This is Super incredible and his goal stats keep increasing even his goal ratio. Man is a total goal machine, his first World Cup and he’s tearing it apart.

This has to be the best World Cup so far, we already have 3 players on 7 goals what used to be the decider for the golden boot and we ain’t even done yet.

I think the team needs to be rebuilt, look at them, when you hear Brazil you would think it's a team that's going to win the world cup already meanwhile they are only living on the name built around the team decades ago. Norway that's coming to the world cup again after almost 3 decades has eliminated a constant qualifier of the tournament. I'm not saying they can't be eliminated by Norway, but this Brazilian team has been disappointing one too many times. They have players who plays in different top leagues in Europe but when they come together, they are not as a unit. I can assure you that Brazil will be the same in their next competition because it the Copa America or next world cup.

Today, Norway performed brilliantly in the round of 16, it was truly incredible that Norway defeated a team like Brazil and made it to the quarter-finals. Haaland's double goal defeated Brazil, although Brazil's performance was good at the beginning and they missed a penalty and lost the match due to not being able to score a few goals. If they could have scored the opening penalty well, their confidence would have increased and they would have had a chance to win the game. However, today's match ended with a 2-1 goal difference, where Brazil had to leave, mainly because of the lack of good and intelligent players in their team. The team is still suffering from problems. Brazil has enough good stars and players but they lack enough experience and skill. From start to finish, Norway had possession of the ball most of the time, which led them to attack and in the end they achieved great success.

I never expected Norway to go this far in the world cup, I underestimated them right from group stage that they would get eliminated but they keep putting in impressive performances. That's why it's not good to underestimate any team, now they have defeated Brazil that's one of the best team in this tournament which a lot of people consider among the strong contenders.

In my opinion, I think Norway has the easy way to the semi finals because if they can defeat Brazil, I don't think either England or Mexico will stop them in the quarter finals. Norway's odds were quoted somewhere around 4+. So you definitely made good money... or not?  
It was evident beforehand that Norway had an excellent team, and it was equally obvious that Brazil had problems in midfield (with one player sidelined, Casemiro not fully recovered from injury, and a spent Neymar). But it's one thing to see all this and another to put your money where your mouth is

When Brazil couldn't get a goal with that early opportunity through the penalty I was already getting the feeling that they could probably not win the game, and it was just as my guts told me. Had Brazil scored that penalty it would have to an extend weakened the momentum of the Norwegian players and made Brazil to kill the game quickly but the keeper saving the Brazilian penalty just changed the entire atmosphere of the game. He's my MOTM in this game, no ceiling.

In this game they just play defense and wait for momentum. the first half was effective but the second half they lost focus which made the situation not what they expected.

TBH I was also upset why it wasn't Vini who took the penalty kick in the first half. It is possible that if Vini had taken the situation would have been different.

Brazil lack a proper striker. They have relied on Vinicius for too long. Ancelotti will be regretting why he chooses to bring Igor Thiago instead of Jao Pedro.
Odegaard completed 101 passes in this game while Brazil completed 99 😭😭. Odegaard dictated the tempo of the game, completed more passes and controlled the game till full time. I'm confused who should be giving the player of the match. It is between Odegaard, Haaland and Schjelderup. I will go for Haaland because he won the game for Norway.

Exactly the Norway goalkeeper was absolutely amazing. He stop every single shot. Even he stop few those attempt which near a goal taking chance. Penalty save was also his big contribution. If I am giving a credit to players then definitely I will pick Holland and the goalkeeper because these both made a stunishing display. Brazil defeat was cause due to Angelotti like he lineup few wrong players which probably a loop hole for Norway attack and even Angelotti penalty decision was also a bad because Vinicus was there but still he give Bruno Guimaraes.....

However it's a heart break moment for the Brazilians because for the first time after 1980 they knocked out in round of 16.
