My Norway bet won & I thought my 100% win rate would come to an end with the England match, but it didn't. Even though the England squad appeared to be playing passively, they ultimately scored two quick goals in the final minutes of the game.



By the way, I’ve already cashed out my bet, I didn't want it to end up being a pain in the butt. I feel lucky because I managed to cash out one or two minutes before Mexico scored their goal. I’ll treat the second half purely as entertainment, just watching, without any bets riding on it.

What a scary game, England were comfortable after scoring two goals by Bellingham but the host started making the game uncomfortable for them after they pulled one back before halftime. This match wasn't easy for England as they have to send one of them out for a serious foul offence. England played most of the second half with 10 men and Mexico made use of this, ball possession and chances created were coming there way more regularly. England had to defend, that's what you get for going a man down. Yesterday it was South america team that was playing dirty against France, today it England that's playing dirty against North america. England finally made it to the next stage as they beat Mexico to secure their spot.

I mean, if it hadn't been for Bellingham scoring the goals and making a clear save against a Mexican player, they would have tied it. Wow, what a match! The blind fans of Brazil fans have understood the current position of Brazil. I am not criticizing Brazil but Brazil needs to be more careful. Their performance is not as strong as before. I think the penalty that Neymar scored was also an opportunity given to the Norwegian goalkeeper Neymar. If you watch the goalkeeper's movements while giving the penalty kick, you will understand that he did not try to catch the ball very strongly. Maybe he wanted Brazil to score a goal. It's truly remarkable for them to have beaten Brazil in this match. Their performance at this World Cup was clearly underwhelming. They started the qualifying round as a team not favored by many. I think it's normal for them to experience what they're experiencing now, even though they have many players of equal quality. However their cohesiveness makes them unlike the quality they've displayed in previous World Cups. I think this time I think is quite different even though they're coached by a coach with a distinguished track record in football Carlo Ancelotti.

And their goal could only come from Neymar's penalty kick meaning they seemed to have difficulty scoring goals in the match. Anything can happen when you have Erling Haaland as a top 9, that guy is just too good; one of the best top 9 I've ever watched playing football. He's strong, always on the ball, intimidating, he's honestly something special as a top 9.

Although, I'm also very disappointed in Brazil, I expected a better performance from them but they didn't play up to what I expected. I'm glad I skipped that game if not I would've picked them to win and that means I'd have lost the bet.

Brazil losing to norway was even bigger surprise to me, i fancied them to reach the finals atleast but here we are

But England is also pretty strong, we could see that against Mexico. I think the Norway vs England game will be the best one so far in the WorldCup. I was watching the Norway game While  it was still 0-0, at 75 mins my instincts told me it was going to end in the favor of the Norway regardless of the high odd given to them when it was still live, I wanted to bet on it but I was carried away.
I was a bit saddened not to take advantage  of the 8 odds given to Norway to win after I saw the two goals lead at stoppage time even though my instinct told me they would win.
Sometime we just have to stop doubting our instincts and do just as it told us.
Prediction can be very funny sometimes, in just 15 mins everything changed, and it would have been a won bet if I had followed my mind.

The match between Mexico and England was a very thrilling round of 16 tie, and to be honest I’d have expected as much, given that Mexico are one of the host nations at this World Cup and wouldn’t have wanted to put in a poor performance in front of their home crowd.
But England have some excellent players and fully deserved to go through to the next round.
The quarter-finals will feature another fantastic match: Norway v England.

In this match, Brazil was truly humiliated by Norway, because they really didn't have a chance to score in this match. Because in this match, the only goal that Brazil had was a penalty kick from Neymar in the final minutes.
