Well, it looks like that after all I wasn't wrong. I always said that this Brazil never impressed me, they never show anything special, there were no ideas, no tactics, just a bunch of decent players who thought they could win just because their name was Brazil.

At the same time we had another confirmation that Norway are a great team. Many people mocked Italy when they lost against Norway, being Italian I always admitted that Norway were clearly superior to us, but many users here look just at the name, they don't actually watch the games...

Why are you feel surprised with it? The fact that historical still matter more for majority of football fans. Italian has been regressing so hard, but since your country has ever wc 4 times. Football fans will always rate your country better than the country like Norway which was underdog.

It's the same like when we saw many people in here less respect to Norway, and put more hype to Brazil because they also won world cup 5 times.

Anything can happen when you have Erling Haaland as a top 9, that guy is just too good; one of the best top 9 I've ever watched playing football. He's strong, always on the ball, intimidating, he's honestly something special as a top 9.

Although, I'm also very disappointed in Brazil, I expected a better performance from them but they didn't play up to what I expected. I'm glad I skipped that game if not I would've picked them to win and that means I'd have lost the bet.

Having Haaland in the front line makes it easier for Norway to face challenges, including Brazil, which is a favorite team. Haaland two goals saw Norway advance to the quarter-finals, while Brazil suffered an early exit. Everyone praised Haaland in that match, but I also really appreciated Nyland performance, which was very good between the sticks, he managed to frustrate the Brazilian players and managed to save Bruno penalty. I also salute Andreas Schjelderup who started the match in the second half, his presence on the field made Norway attack line sharper and he was able to score two assists.

Overall, Brazil performed very well in the game, they also managed to create many chances, but Nyland managed to thwart them. If Ancelotti had called up Joao Pedro, do you think Brazil would have qualified for the quarter-finals?

My Norway bet won & I thought my 100% win rate would come to an end with the England match, but it didn't. Even though the England squad appeared to be playing passively, they ultimately scored two quick goals in the final minutes of the game.



By the way, I’ve already cashed out my bet, I didn't want it to end up being a pain in the butt. I feel lucky because I managed to cash out one or two minutes before Mexico scored their goal. I’ll treat the second half purely as entertainment, just watching, without any bets riding on it.

Although Mexico put up a fierce fight, especially in the second half, even dominating after an England player was sent off, Mexico couldn't capitalize, and England maintained their narrow lead. Because in this match, the only goal that Brazil had was a penalty kick from Neymar in the final minutes. So I think if Brazil hadn't been awarded a penalty kick, I'm sure Brazil wouldn't have been able to score. So because of that, I really didn't expect Brazil to be destroyed like this by Norway.

So with this, I feel like Brazil's golden age seems to be over now. Because if we compare the current Brazilian players with those of the past, it seems the difference is clearly very far. So because of that, I personally really regret that there is currently no truly great successor for the Brazilian national team. And besides, Norway really didn't expect to be able to play that well, so it seems that looking at their current performance, it seems that Norway will be able to advance even further in this World Cup.

I felt Brazil was finally going to settle the hardluck against Norway but the hardluck continues and this time around in a more painful manner cause it made Neymar cry like a baby immediately after the final whistle. Norway currently has a record of three wins and two draws against Brazil in all competitions they've met.

 As for Neymar, I believe he didn't expect his last World Cup participation with Brazil to end this way but he should be grateful that he was included in Brazilian team despite his poor fitness and injury-prone nature, i also believe Ancelotti picked him to honour his last World Cup with Brazil. If only Neymar was a bit younger he would've done better for Brazil but he tried though, congratulations to Norway for reaxhing the quarterfinals, i really enjoyed their Viking drumrolls after the match, quite entertaining.

It was not the kind of performance that many of us expected from Brazil that we saw yesterday. Almost everyone saw Brazil, before the beginning of the match, as the favorite team to win, despite the fact that we know Norway are a very strong team. Even the odds given by betting companies were in favor of Brazil, since they have world class players in their team.

What surprised me most is that, even in terms of ball possession, it was Norway that was in control, which I did not expect. This current Brazil team is not even close to those former Brazil teams, but I don't know what is wrong with this current Brazil squad that they are not playing so well with the kind of players that make up this current team. I don't even think this current Brazil team has won any trophy in over ten years now.

But England is also pretty strong, we could see that against Mexico. I think the Norway vs England game will be the best one so far in the WorldCup. These two teams have the best teamwork and the best striker. In this game there are several goals i think.

After England defeated Mexico, they are set to face Norway in the next round. However, I don't feel like placing a bet on either team in that match, as it is too risky. When facing Mexico, England played under pressure, the goals they scored did not stem from purely tactical schemes. In my opinion, under 2.5 goals would be a good betting choice for that match.

Haaland's performance is really amazing. But aside from that, Norway played tough against Brazil. They have a good understanding in teamwork. 
Four teams have secured a spot in the quarter-finals. Norway will face England, which will also be hard to predict. But Haaland and Norway have a chance to make it to the semi-finals. 
The other teams that made it through are France and Morocco. This will be quite a tough match for Morocco, even though we know they also have good quality play. But France has a lot of players of great quality.

If Neymar had underperformed in the match, the media would have used him as a scapegoat for why the team lost. For anyone who missed it, here is the full story on the Balogun drama against Bosnia. He jumped for a high ball and completely accidentally stepped on a defender’s ankle as he landed. VAR checked it, and the ref gave him a straight red card. It looked incredibly harsh because there was clearly zero intent. But here is the crazy plot twist: FIFA just used a rare disciplinary loophole to suspend his automatic one-match ban and put him on probation. The red card still stands on his record, but Balogun has been legally cleared to play in the massive Round of 16 match USA against Belgium.

USA is just favored. That's what's happening right now. Balogun had to get that red card punishment at least for 1 game which is the one vs Belgium. I wonder what happened behind the scenes...

Trump's thanking FIFA makes things funnier, anyway...    I mean USA have already been playing really decently. They've a really good chance to eliminate Belgium also. Just come on, you don't need this kind of tricks...

I don't know what happened to the Brazilian defenders in the second half of the game, they tried in the first half but they were very loosed in the second half and they didn't give Erling Haaland a close marking which is why Haaland was able to score two goals. Though Gabriel tried to mark Haaland but he forgot that Haaland has a height advantage so if he was intelligent enough what he should have done was to go for the ball instead of being reluctant. Erling Haaland might fulfill his dream of winning the golden boot awards if he continues to score more goals because right now he is in a tally with Argentina's Lionel Messi and France Kylian Mbappe and they have all scored 7 goals each. According to Haaland he said they just want to play and enjoy their stay in the world cup but this might just be a turning point for the Norway team because with how creative the players are, they might likely win England at the quarter finals.

I didn't watch the game because of an important meeting with my Alumni association. But I was following the game on my phone. I was amazed that Brazil was losing possession, which is strange. Norway was just extraordinarily the better side, as they outplayed the Brazilian side.

Carlo Ancelotti was brought in to change the fortune of the team. I don't know the fate of the Italian after this unexpected knockout. Many people lost their bet because the Norwegian side was the underdog.

So you cash out for the result of the first half which has ended in a 2-1 score for England's victory, a fairly agus choice because until the end of the match the result is still the same, you get interesting odds, I missed last night, but fortunately Norway did not disappoint me.

Securing a win is a good thing as long as you want to do it and don't think about anything else, but I prefer how I settle bets for the full game, when I withdraw early the fear of losing disappears and I don't feel the need to continue watching then.

I just checked the match statistics, and it turns out Brazil was outplayed by Norway in every aspect. Brazil played poorly in this match and deserved to lose. Haaland once again showed his magic and proved to be a nightmare for Brazil with the two goals he scored.

Many people didn’t expect Brazil to lose like this to Norway, since most had predicted that Brazil would beat Norway and advance to the semifinals or finals in this tournament. But those expectations were wrong, and now Brazil has been eliminated and must once again bury their dreams of winning a sixth World Cup trophy.

I couldn't watch the Mexico vs England match because of the time it kicked off. Before the match started, I already know it will be intense, so when I woke up this morning and saw that England managed to win Mexico 3-2 I knew the match actually goes the way I expected. Haaland is an impressive fellow, a very good striker that can face any defense he is up against. Haaland was incredible, he has been since the start of the tournament he has been really good and has been taking his country even as far as they couldn't believe. Haaland even loves to play against tough defenders so I am not surprised that he excelled in the game against Brazil. Eliminating Brazil is not an easy task but they did anyway, they fought hard and got themselves to the quarter finals of the world cup that's really impressive.

Brazil had a really bad performance against Norway which was not what should be expected of them which led to a disappointing result. You could feel that the tempo of their gameplay remained slow till the end of the game and Norway took advantage of that with a clean brace from Erling Haaland,  the coach would be praised that he benched him in their last game to rest ahead of Brazil's game which was never a mistake.

He has equalled 7 goals in this World Cup alongside Messi and Mbappe, no doubt he is truly a Vikings. He is still in the race for the golden boot in this World Cup as Norway progresses to the Quarter Finals in the World Cup which happens to be the first time in their history, this should be a historic moment for the Vikings and a moment worth celebrating.

I completely agree, it was an absolute thriller! To add some key facts: Bellingham’s incredible brace actually came in a span of just 98 seconds, earning him a well-deserved Player of the Match award. Also, after Quansah’s red card in the 54th minute, England’s ten-man defense didn’t just survive for 36 minutes - they had to endure a massive 11 minutes of stoppage time while repelling 49 Mexican crosses! It was a legendary test of character. Up next is Norway, who just knocked out Brazil, so the quarterfinals will definitely be even tougher!
