Before the start of the world cup this very Portuguese team was listed among the teams that will excel in this competition, they boosted of the squad which no doubt is star studded, but I disagreed with them about the team being exceptional. The truth is the team has lots of stars but they are all bunch of individual players that's one, the second problem they have is coaching issues. Martinez doesn't know how to combine the explosiveness of Vitinha, Neves and Bruno, their first 2 matches were against below average teams and the owned the game but the moment they met an average team, what happened? See how Columbia was incharge of the game, it was an interesting game no doubt but Columbia were the better team.
Few day before Portugal match against Colombia and Portugal really disappointed with there bad performance no one expected that performance from  Portugal after a 5-0 win against uezbikstan. They really gave so bad performance they don't make perfect possession, no shots on goal very null performance by bernado, Silva, even from the Cristiano. Portugal have to face epureon teams Croatia, England and France and Spain, they have to work hard and and have to thaught from the their past mistakes. They have to more work on team work and they have to work on their possession and have to their attack and midfield work . They have to fight bcz it's Cristiano last world Cup and he have to a world Cup in his inventory . Portugal have to comeback bcz they have  now strong teams against in knockout stage and they are now in serious situation. All teams whose are against Portugal have potential to beat Portugal easily in this current  form . They have to a lot of work to do.

Congratulations, all your bets won. A good return on the England match. Although Mexico put up a fierce fight, especially in the second half, even dominating after an England player was sent off, Mexico couldn't capitalize, and England maintained their narrow lead. The second half was an exciting performance from both teams.
I am happy for Norway. The England win against Mexico was quite expected but I least expected Norway was going to handle Brazil the way they did. If Brazil was to be given a second chance, I believe Norway will do better because of how they were able to solidly handle the Brazil. Mexico did well and they had a strong fight but they could not make it to the end as the England guys were able to push through. Much thanks should go to Bellingham for his athletic performance yesterday especially in making two goals for the team.

Hey guys, I'm surprised that a team like Mexico made England, with so many stars, suffer so much. I mean, if it hadn't been for Bellingham scoring the goals and making a clear save against a Mexican player, they would have tied it. Wow, what a match! I'm really surprised by how the teams rise to the occasion in the World Cup. Yesterday Argentina suffered like crazy, and today England... these games are on another level. Tomorrow it's Portugal, let's see how they do. I hope Portugal wins.
Yes, the Mexican players in this match really performed extraordinarily, and it did indeed make the English players quite overwhelmed. But unfortunately, the Mexican players were unable to capitalize on all the opportunities well, which is why they lost this match. But even so, I think even though Mexico lost this match, I think it was good enough. Because they had put in an extraordinary performance, and they also lost to a big team, not a small team. So basically, Mexico lost with a sense of pride, of course.

Also, speaking of Portugal, I think their match tomorrow will definitely be very difficult. Because their opponent is Spain, which is clearly very strong. So that's why I think Portugal's match tomorrow will definitely not be easy for them. Because unlike teams like England who play Mexico, Portugal is facing directly against a country that is favored to win the World Cup this time. So obviously it won't be easy for them, but even so I also hope that Portugal will win tomorrow, because I will also support Portugal in this match.

Idk, Norway win doesn't seem as unexpected to me, considering they have the best football player in the world at the moment and the current Brazil squad is even weaker than the one that lost 1-7 to Germany in 2014.

A bit of luck was involved as usual, but overall the two teams are of the same class.

England managed to advance past Mexico. It was a tough match for both teams, and frankly, England was lucky to win despite being down to 10 men. England went into halftime leading 2-1 thanks to goals by Jude Bellingham, but early in the second half, they were reduced to 10 men after Jarell Quansah received a red card. Mexico took control of the match, but Harry Kane’s third goal—scored just six minutes after the red card—gave England some breathing room. Mexico managed only one goal in the remaining minutes, and England defeated their opponent 3-2 to advance to the next round.
England showed strong determination in this match. It’s not easy to play with a man down in a World Cup match, but England demonstrated great resilience by not faltering even after losing a player to a red card.

Now that Mexico has been eliminated, the USA is the only remaining host nation. Will the USA be able to defeat Belgium, or will it follow in the footsteps of Canada and Mexico, both host nations that were eliminated in the Round of 16.

Norway deserved to win because their play was more effective and structured. Meanwhile, Brazil was a mess, even though they had clear scoring chances. I didn't see a single Brazilian player playing for the team, they were almost all for themselves. Endrick had two chances, and Guimarães missed a penalty. Perhaps only Vinicius was slightly better, even though he didn't have much space to move due to being closely marked.

What a team needs is balance, and balance doesn't always have to be filled by big players. Norway proved that!

Even though England weren't the better performing side in general they still looked really efficient with their chances.

Mexico not only had a serious ball possession superiority (67%-33%) but also had a ton of goal attempts. But the goal England scored shortly after the red card was so critical!

However I think Norway can eliminate England as well. They are doing amazing things after eliminating Brazil too.

Brazil didn't take their chances at all. They had several opportunities to make a whole lot of difference in that game yesterday but they missed everything. The penalty miss and that Endrick obvious miss killed every bit of motivation in them. I don't know how they normally decide their penalty taker but Vinicius was the best player on the pitch for that penalty in my opinion. Another mistake that cost them was the coach substitution. Taking off Cunha for Endrick that missed a one on one goal scoring opportunity was a great mistake. I think it's fair to say the current Brazil team doesn't have a tournament mentality.

Ancelotti has received a lot of criticism after this defeat, and I think it's well deserved because Brazil played a very poor match. I don't know what their game plan was or how they expected to beat Norway, but they were completely outplayed in the first half and barely managed to create anything in the second. So I think the criticism Ancelotti is facing right now is fully justified. In my opinion, he did a very poor job with the national team in this match.

Before this Mexico vs England game, the English team and Thomas tuchel were highly criticize of how boring they were and how they wouldn't make it against this Mexican team that has been in fine form for some time now, but they surprised their haters and even me because it was arguably the best performance I have seen from them in this world cup competition, and a very long time.

Now they will be playing against the Norwegian team that eliminate Brazil in their own game earlier in the day in the quarter finals, which wouldn't be easy at all, but I would be betting on England to progress to the semi finals because they are more experienced than Norway.

To be honest, I never had much hope for this Brazilian national team. In my opinion, it is one of the worst in recent years, along with the 2014 and 2018 squads. Brazil has been going through a generation of very average players. On top of that, Ancelotti made poor tactical decisions. When he brought Neymar on, everything fell apart. The attacking players had to change their positioning completely, which gave Norway plenty of space to attack.

Neymar is a former player who is still active. He is simply no longer capable of performing at the highest level. For me, this should mark the end of his World Cup journey and also his time with the Brazilian national team. It is the end of an era.

Now the CBF has confirmed Ancelotti as head coach until 2030. Let’s see if he can achieve anything, because I think it will be very difficult. This generation of Brazilian national team players is truly disappointing. It is a very weak squad.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Take heart'.

Erling Haaland is truly a champion, practically without taking anything away from Norway, he is the driving force behind the team, a truly monster.
I'm very sorry for Brazil, unfortunately these are things that can happen, after all i saw an absent Brazil.

Congratulations to you, only those who take the risk will be rewarded with massive winnings. 4 odds+ s not a joke, some people really have eyes to see some kind of games and stake on it. I'm always afraid to go for the big odds because of fear and instead go for the smaller ones which most times ends up badly, people who staked on Brazil to win will be sucking their fingers hoping they picked the opposite. Apart from people who risked on Norway, the other winnings will be the ones who picked either ov 2.5 or went for GG. We hope to keep on winning more than loses because this too is an investment.

I usually don't bet on these types of competitions, they are too difficult to predict so honestly i get annoyed at playing knowing that i will almost certainly lose.
Football is changing, the emerging nations are now the strong ones and we can't help but take note of this.

I think you made the wrong comment here because you thought so but basically the argument that happened here is not an opportunity for Brazil to score a goal. Basically the Norwegian goalkeeper tried hard to keep the ball in his possession but in Neymar's magical penalty shootout he did not understand how the ball entered the net, but Ancelotti should have put Neymar on the field earlier but something could have been better.

Unfortunately this mistake will now haunt Ancellotti, that of not having Neymar play sooner.
There remains a lot of bitterness, i honestly counted on Brazil and even this certainty was taken away from me, in the round of 16.
I didn't expect this and was honestly disappointed.

Defeated by Norway, Brazil also gives way.
The Brazilian national team hadn't been eliminated so early in a World Cup (in the round of 16) in 36 years (Italy '90). Just to give you an idea of how the "big" national teams are in total crisis.
France will stay and fight, but I think it will be a championship with some exotic semi-finals.

I already have this on my mind that Brazil is no longer the Brazil people use to know else it would not have take much time to flog Norway goals but I knew this was going to happen. Gumirase missed a penalty in the first half and then in the second half Erling Haaland scored two goals and if not for the penalty again Brazil would not have scored any goal. I think the same thing is disturbing Real Madrid, everyone is a star boy, you can not tell them what to do, that is already a disadvantage.

Defeated by Norway, Brazil also gives way.
The Brazilian national team hadn't been eliminated so early in a World Cup (in the round of 16) in 36 years (Italy '90). Just to give you an idea of how the "big" national teams are in total crisis.
Brazil actually did not have too good player resource for World Cup 2026, they lost Rodrygo with an injury who if are able to join World Cup 2026 can help Brazil playing more balanced in attacks at two swings. This squad can be a worst one in about last twenty years since World Cup 2010 while Neymar simply was no longer be able to create magic for the team at his age and after suffering many injuries through his career.

Relying too much on Vinicius makes Brazil attacks are very predictable and Norway simply did their defense well while Haaland only needed about last 10 minutes of the match to beat Brazil. He almost disappeared on field in the first 80 minutes but later he punished Brazilian defenders with two excellent finishes for 2 winning goals for Norway.

Quote
France will stay and fight, but I think it will be a championship with some exotic semi-finals.
France are actually very strong and have very deep squad but playing against Morocco won't be easy for them. If they are not careful, Morocco can make a surprising win against France because Morocco surely are stronger than Paraguay.

Mexico and England both played very well. But England knew better how to win, even though Mexico actually dominated the game because England was just a little better at finding gaps in Mexico’s defense. So congratulations to England on their victory.

I actually expected Brazil’s loss to Norway. Brazil hasn’t always performed at their best. ever since the group stage and through the Round of 32, I’ve felt that Brazil no longer seemed like a team that was hard to beat. they’re a strong team, but they also have weaknesses that opponents can exploit. As a result, Norway managed to win by a fairly comfortable margin because they found those gaps in Brazil’s defense.

[edited out]

I already have this on my mind that Brazil is no longer the Brazil people use to know else it would not have take much time to flog Norway goals but I knew this was going to happen. Gumirase missed a penalty in the first half and then in the second half Erling Haaland scored two goals and if not for the penalty again Brazil would not have scored any goal. I think the same thing is disturbing Real Madrid, everyone is a star boy, you can not tell them what to do, that is already a disadvantage.

Many predicted that Brazil would never be like the Brazil of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Adriano, Kaká, Roberto Carlos, and Cafu.
Brazil's modern football era relies heavily on Neymar, but unfortunately, by the time Neymar finished playing for Brazil, they had not won a single trophy.
Individuals are more beautiful when a team plays as a team and prioritizes teamwork.

Brazil's golden opportunity in the match against Norway came when Endrick was one-on-one with the Norwegian goalkeeper, aside from Guimaraes' missed penalty.

The Mexico vs England match was very exciting. From the beginning of the match, we saw that both teams attacked a lot. The players were very confident.

Mexico conceded two goals in a row in the 36th and 38th minutes of the match. The players were not at all prepared to concede two goals so quickly. Even then, the team did not lose confidence. The first half ended 2-1 with a goal by Quinones in the 42nd minute. Both teams played very well in the second half. And both scored one goal each from the penalty spot. This match was very competitive compared to the Brazil vs Norway match. The Norway vs England match in the quarter-finals will undoubtedly be very competitive.
