First half is over and it was not as entertaining as I had anticipated from the two nationals teams in this match. Spain has made more goals opportunities but are weary to convert any dew to how phenomenal the Portuguese goalkeeper is performing making site to keep the ball from going passed him.

Portugal are rather defensive and less attacking leaving the midfield to the control of the Spanish players therefore heaping pressure on their goalie who has saved a few shots but I do not know if he can continue saving those shit in the second half denying Spain a goal.

Haaland have been performing so well in the World Cup, Haaland scored 2 goals for Norway in their match against Brazil which was a very good one, Norway won the match just because of Haaland.

It’s about time that the Samba boys come to terms with the fact that, the game has changed a lot these days and it ain’t about dances and steps on the pitch no more. It’s more about being swift and taking the necessary advantage before your opposition even realizes it. Right now, that’s very far from what they are doing and their exit from the World Cup is the result of that. I know it’s rather difficult to stop Haaland from scoring that header but the second goal, that could have being blocked, they allowed him all the time in the world and he took the shot composed and clean.

The first half of the Spain vs Portugal game has ended in a draw, Portugal had the upper hand right to the hydration break but Spain came off strong after and created some truly good chances that could have ended in a goal.

Are we going to see this game to the penalties I wonder.

England barely managed to win and that is very bad look for the England team. Now we are going to see England and Norway play, and then they are going to face Argentina as well, that is a very tough road for England, not going to be easy to win the title.

Three games left, they need to win three games and all three will be very very tough for them. I think if you are having trouble beating Mexico, and defend hard on last minutes and pray that Mexico doesn't score, then Norway and Argentina and whoever comes at Finals would be very tough.

It’s simply impossible for any player not to want to win the World Cup—including Cristiano. Interestingly, Ronaldo said that he plays not out of a need to achieve something, but because of his love for soccer; so in every match, he strives to do better, even if others are better than him. Seems like we saw a real Shaolin Soccer yesterday between Mexico and England. Too many fouls, penalties, and even red cards. England still leads 3-2. Both teams had one penalty each, and they scored. The playing stats look good for Mexico. They have better control over the ball. They have better stats, but England was ahead with the goal, which matters the most. England finally managed to win the match; congratulations to them.

Once again, we are here with another match of Portugal, and I support them once again just because of Ronaldo. People know this country's name just because they have Ronaldo. Not for players who says that Ronaldo is nothing and they don't feel importance to pass the ball to him.

But the whole match was quite chaotic with so many card and drama. Mexico played well but they were slow to finish.

And speaking of Portugal, even though Ronaldo is still their main star, the rest of the team should give him better support. Both team are playing very safe and waiting for their opponent to make mistake. I saw Mendes and Ronaldo have a few chances but Spanish defense has handled them with strong hand. Especially with the pressure of knockout phase this match is likely to be low scoring.

Portugal will have to push harder in the second half if they want to avoid extra time. They will have to increase their attack. I hope the match does not end 0-0 at least.

Portugal players are not looking tired from the look of their performance, and I'm not seeing Portugal winning because I have not seen or notice an excellent attempt of scoring Spain, except the one Christian Ronaldo wasn't close the ball in Spain 18 before his team mate passed ball to him..so even Spain attempt is shallow in this match..both team are playing careful so that they will not give each other chances to score..only thing i notice is that Spain defence is tight and Portugal are not penetrating easily to Spain goal post.

Big matches like this is always difficult to play because every player is serious and are all avoiding mistakes. I am very sure that Oyezerbal will want to score goal in this match, but as you can see, the match was so tough for both teams to the extent that no goal was scored until after 90 minutes.
