Spain is my favorite team and I really wanted to bet on this favorite team and I was optimistic that Spain would win today. But still I had a lot of doubts in my mind because Portugal has Ronaldo. That is why I did not bet on this match between Portugal and Spain today, because betting on uncertainty never brings entertainment and success. I looked at Spain today and sincerely I am not convinced because let’s be honest this wasn’t any different performance from the Portuguese too. This current Portugal team have actually been so poor that I didn’t fancy them even winning anything but Spain too is on same class with them for me and the only major difference now is that one person is still in the competition which is Spain and can get to actually improve their game but let’s say they move to the Semi finals, I definitely will be fancy any of the Morocco or even France to knock them out for me.

For the other side I think Norway are definitely the most underrated side at the tournament and just like many actually chose them to be the most surprised team of the tournament and currently they are on the verge of winning that accolade. But let’s not forget that they are actually going against the England side who I think even if they go against any side remaining they would find a way to win. Since the beginning of this tournament, Portugal has showed no signs that they really wanted to win the World Cup. Their games lacked substance, i was so pissed off with the rubbish they played again Spain yesterday knowing fully well that they were playing a knockout match.

Let me not even talk about Martinez the coach, he deserves to be sacked from being their coach and if they don’t sack him that’s their problem. His tactics yesterday was total nonsense 😡… the only person that impressed me through out was Nuno mendez and immediately he got subbed out cos of the injury, i knew Portugal would have issues because he was literally carrying them on his back, the boy was playing multiple positions at the same time. Agreed. After Germany was kicked out of World Cup those two are the most probable contestants for the trophy. Nevertheless, I still think that France will beat Argentina if it happens that they meet in the final because Argentina scores their points off Messi, while the France squad is made of talents that compare favorably in strength with him. Besides, the team in general is more flexible in tactics on the field.

Sincerely, I was surprised seeing that score line. Imagine Belgium having such a win in the tournament when compared to there group stage and round of 32 performance. They were already eliminated by Senegal who gave up a 2:0 lead from the 86th minutes, and went on to lose in the extra time.
