Belgium with a 4-1 win against United States of America (USA) and are off to the quarter finals of the 2026 FIFA world cup against the Spanish giants.

It was a very nice and interesting match played by the Belgium. Belgium surely bullied and show the world that they are a better team than the USA side.

Although Belgium advancing to the next level of the tournament to face one of the toughest team in the tournament will be a very big problem for them, as they are likely to loose the quarter finals against Spain.

But nevertheless, congratulations to De Ketelaere for scoring a brace and the Man of the Match (MOTM) award and the entire Belgium side for qualifying to the next round.

I never expected the outcome of this game to be so I thought  even if Belgium were to win it’ll be by a narrow margin but 4:1 I don’t think anyone expected that. Congratulations to them, they’ve really improved from their shaky start.

Now all the host nations are out in the same round, no one will say I did better than others lol… incredible World Cup we’re witnessing.

Tonight we see Argentina face another tough African country. All the odds will favour Argentina but let’s see how Egypt will hold ! Can they do better than Cape Verde?.

Spain struggled but advanced to the next round. Their opponent in the next round is Belgium.
It is not easy to predict who will advance in that match.
The game might even go to extra time or a penalty shootout.
If both teams score early goals, we could even see a high-scoring match.
I considered Spain the favorite, but they struggle against tough opponents.

I still see Spain as the favorite. I think they will beat Belgium and advance to the semi-finals. We are now approaching the final stages of the World Cup, and every match will be enjoyable. The quarter-final matches so far have been very exciting. We have witnessed many important and beautiful moments in the tournament. Of course, it wouldn't be right to name a clear favorite in the quarter-final match, but I think Spain's quality players and squad are enough to eliminate Belgium.

Belgium's attacking line is strong and they are a team with young and fast players. They showed in last match as well that they pose a serious threat but i think their defense is weak and prone to vulnerabilities. teams like France, Argentina and Spain could eliminate Belgium by scoring multiple goals.

No one should naturally expect the outcome of the USA vs Belgium to be as high as 1-4, but it's a deserving outcome with the ignoble actions of the US president and FIFA; that's too dishonourable. Belgium appealed the Folarin Balogun's red card reversal, yet FIFA ignored that and even contested it, so on the pitch is the only option to settle the scores since it's not the fight of Belgium alone, but the world of sports at large.

I was surprised as you bro, because I never for one day believed that Belgium have such capacity to win the United States in this game, talkless of doing it convincingly as they did. I didn't watch the game since it was taking place at 2am in my local time, but when I check how they played in live scores this morning, I was really surprised because I thought that the US team was on fire before now. Belgium are a very strong team, they came into this match on a long unbeaten run, and that was definitely something that needed to be taken into account. Still, I was hoping that the United States, playing at home, and Pochettino would be able to find a way to break down Belgium's defense. In the end, it wasn't that simple, and Belgium clearly showed their superiority.

Egypt are a good team as well, but they're obviously not at Argentina's level. If Argentina plays well in attack, Egypt will have no chance.

I watched the entire match, to be honest, I didn't find the match exciting at all. Although the last few minutes were exciting, overall we saw poor performance from both teams throughout the match. It wasn't because the defense of both teams was strong, but rather because both teams had a messy attack. Lack of finishing and unplanned attacks were part of the game. That's why Spain managed to score only 1 goal in 15 attacks and Portugal didn't score a single goal in 10 attacks. Even most of the attacks from both teams were off target. However, congratulations to Spain for winning the match by scoring the winning goal in extra time. All the legends except Messi have now been eliminated from the World Cup.

It was a great match between Spain and Portugal. I feel sorry for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has said goodbye to yet another World Cup, but he also became the only player to score in six different World Cups. Yes, you’re right, and I’m one of them. I watched Portugal’s matches because of Ronaldo. As a huge fan, I was so sad when Portugal lost to Spain. I couldn’t even sleep last night after seeing my idol cry at the end of the match because Ronaldo’s dream of winning the World Cup had to be dashed. But I’m still proud of Ronaldo, yes, even though he doesn’t have a World Cup trophy, he’s made a huge contribution to Portugal. The world will surely miss him when Ronaldo retires from soccer. The game was not bad just that Spain was so stupid yesterday that they threw away all their chances and the kind of opportunities Lamine Yamal was missing yesterday I was so shocked. I'm very grateful to Belgium for delivering a devastating blow to the USA. Their elimination has at least minimized the drama and controversy. Since Trump's intervention in Balogun's revoked violation, the football world has been outraged by the injustice. Belgium has indirectly saved the World Cup from the USA.

My comments on this just as before is that why this is happening is because we are moving from an era where the stars if these teams have retired or are retiring to an era of new stars rising up and that will take a couple of years for us to see these teams do what they used to be known for in world championships.
