Painful or not unfortunately that's the way football is, Spain played much better they deserved to win.
A player who has really given so much in the world of football deserves respect, it's sad to see his last World Cup end like this, but Portugal certainly couldn't have been expected in the final, right?
Considering the way i played, i didn't have a positive vision for Portugal, just because Ronaldo is in the team doesn't mean a sure win.

Both teams really went with a lot of caution and that in the end was the end for Portugal. Portugal needed to play more offense and thats why they lost in the end. Spain was attacking more and that paid off in the very end,those subs for them were crucial because both subs made an impact in the finish of the match. Spain can now grow from this win because it was a huge one and it will really be good for their moral

There aren't that many "small" teams left. France, Morocco, Belgium, Spain, Norway, England, Argentina, Switzerland. I would say between these, I am 99.99% sure that Belgium, Morocco, Norway, Switzerland will not win. But that means the other half, France, Spain, England and Argentina has a chance.

So we are going to see how this moves on and what happens but I think we are going to have easier time betting on these games. I know that it is not "easy" but it's simple if you want to bet on favourites.

Norway can surprise honestly,they already surprised Brazil and i think they can do anything at this point.  England aint that special and we seen that against Mexico so i think for me its 50/50 on Norway vs England. France for me will surely win over Morocco because they are clearly better and without Saibari i doubt that Morocco can do anything against France tommorow.

The force and form Norway is playing with this year is really shocking and if they continue with this pressure there will be surprise and for Brazil's defeat, it is not really a surprise to me because Brazil has already lost it and even though Brazil qualified they would not have passed the next round because England is strong. I want to believe France will still beat Morocco again this year but football can happen to France tomorrow and people will be shock because Morocco has a solid defense.

Norway seems unstoppable in this world cup with their formidable squad, let's give them that. They're very competitive and eager to win games with ease. This is Norway we're talking about here, they eliminated Brazil who happen to become one of the favorite to win the world cup this year but they're no where to be found. Norway doesn't take their chances because they already know what to expect from oppositions and they're doing everything to hit the long run.

Erling Haaland is HIM for Norway, watching him perform and become very competitive in big games is absolutely what the team needs, he stands and represents them when he's needed. Did you watch his brace against Brazil? Those solo goals put them in front and today they're place in high phase of the world cup.

In tennis for instance, when a very well known player freaks out, it may take longer for them to be penalized by the referee than an unknown player. Is it fair? I think no, but it is how it is, but I wouldn't actually call it rigged.

I believe then it is a matter of quality of referees.
Assuming those referees do not have any instruction by the management and administration of the FIFA, then they are simply not being as unbiased as there are supposed to be.
Perhaps, some of them actually are afraid of what could happen to them if they rightfully penalize star players like Messi, Ronaldo or even Mbappe.

They could have received some death threats of some kind, which may have spooked them enough so they would not act fairly during those matches.

In the worst case scenario, they got bribed somehow by some crime syndicates betting heavily in favor of Argentina or some other favorite team. Who knows...

I will definitely bet on France because France will definitely win. Where the players of France and Morocco who competed in the 2022 World Cup are the same, there is a possibility that Morocco will lose in this match. But I have some doubts because every player of Morocco is in great form at the moment.

This is pour hatred for Messi because the whole thing is clear, if Argentina wins they'll say FIFA is on the side of Messi, if Argentina are losing just like the encounter between them and Egypt they'd all smile and forget some incidents that happened in the game that the ref didn't blow the whistle and the day Messi and his Argentina teammates are knocked out of the World Cup that will be the day the Internet will have peace for every complains. As we can see, each game has a clear favourite.
If I had to pick one underdog to bet on, I'd probably go for Belgium. They looked really well in their game against USA, while Spain had a hard time against Portugal.

Honestly speaking about Underdog, Morocco is the most underrated here. Let's say they getting fight against a club that placed at the 1st rank of fifa men football. However, how can they have greater odds than Switzerland? They have the biggest odds among the underdogs.
So i think i'd rather to pick them, though France looks so promising to win the game.

As for Spain vs Belgium, Belgium looked good against USA, but USA ain't close to the Portugal's level. So it's normal to see Spain getting a hard time against a tougher team than USA. Portugal was also beat them at the nation league. However, this time, Spain won it. This is why Spain still my preferrable choice against Belgium. There is an improvement showed by Spain.

Once or twice is termed a mistake but if it happened more than once or twice, it's no longer a mistake from the referee. I watched the game, I saw certain calls that went in favour of Argentina, I needed Argentina to win but not with that controversy surrounding it. That foul on Salah was a soft one and shouldn't be a penalty, he was fouled no doubt but it's not a penalty, most people don't agree it's even a foul, that's another problem. Egypt had a goal disallowed for foul from the build up to the goal, Argentina committed a foul to the build up but it counted. That wasn't fair to the Egyptian if I am to be sincere.

I also wanted Argentina to win but talking about that foul on Salah I don't see anything for the red to do, it wasn't enough to bring him down and he has already lost the ball and the second one they were all shouting that it was a goal for Egypt I saw it that the foot of the Egyptian defender was what stopped Martinez if not he would have continued his move towards the 18 yard box. The pattern at which fans who are against Messi have made everything look like the football we watch doesn't have people that knows how to analyze football anymore, they always put sentiment in front that is why this football argument is no longer fun any more like before.

I think that Portugal played a very mediocre tournament. I had quite high expectations for them because, on paper, this was probably the best team they ever had in their history. Even better than 2004-2006 when, just to name a few players, they had Rui Costa and Figo. The performances have always been mediocre and, I'm sorry to say this, Ronaldo has been a big problem. Many times it looked like they played with only 10 men.

To be honest, the odds don’t really impress me at this stage of World Cup. I think we have already seen enough surprises to know that being the favorite team, having better players or coach doesn’t guarantee anything anymore. This isn’t a league where the better team usually comes out on top over time and wins with many advantages. We have also seen teams dominating 80 minutes and scoring two goals but at the end of the match, they couldn’t qualify.

If I had to back an underdog I would probably look at Morocco and Belgium as well or even Switzerland with a double chance. They have already shown they can compete against strong teams. I definitely wouldn’t be confident enough to put a big bet on any of the favorites, no matter how low the odds are.

Last night Argentina managed to beat Egypt with a score of 3-2, and with that, Argentina was able to qualify for the next round. But honestly, at first I thought that Argentina would lose this match, because basically in the second half Egypt was already two goals ahead and I thought at that time it would be very difficult for Argentina to turn things around. But amazingly after that Argentina scored three goals in a row against Egypt and made Egypt unable to move anymore. So basically this was something that was completely unexpected.

Egypt team was sure to win for a long time, but even before the end of the match, they became inattentive later. As a result, Argentina team scored three goals in a row and Argentina team won, but the question in my mind is why Argentina team was sitting in the middle of losing for a long time and they made so much aggression until the last. If they could win, then why did they take so much risk that Argentina team was in the middle of losing the game until the 78th minute.
After that, Argentina team can score three goals in a row in just 15 to 20 minutes, so why didn't they maintain it by winning from the beginning?

Perhaps the Argentine players initially couldn't find a good opening to break through Egypt's goal, because in the first half until the middle of the second half, as we know, the Egyptian players really played quite well, both in defense and attack. YEs, basically, the Portuguese players seemed unaware of their own weaknesses, and that's why, in some matches, even throughout the match, their performance didn't change at all. So, it's only natural that they lost to Spain at that time, because basically, the Portuguese players were unable to learn from the mistakes they had made and they also seemed quite selfish. Because basically, Ronaldo, who always looked for space well, was not utilized well by the Portuguese midfielders. So, therefore, Portugal did not have many opportunities in this match, making it difficult for them to win.

Stake has Norway at 4.10, but the Norwegians have defied the predictions till now in this tournament. And England had a few tough matches. In the group stage, they conceded a draw against Ghana, and during the knockout phase they were initially trailing against DR Congo. And then they narrowly escaped being defeated by Mexico (3-2). I would say that England is not in the best of form, and that opens the possibilities for Norway.

Yes, if you think about it, Portugal and Spain are almost evenly matched, as evidenced by Spain only being able to score one goal in the final minutes. In my opinion, if Roberto could create a good strategy, Portugal definitely has the potential to beat Spain. However, sometimes I wonder why the Portuguese players seem to play less freely and lack confidence. They also can't capitalize on opportunities. If they could capitalize on opportunities well, I think Portugal had the potential to win. But now everything has happened, and in my opinion, Portugal is not suited to being coached by Roberto. What do you think? In my opinion, if Portugal were coached by Jorge Jesus, I think they would have the potential to be better

Actually, I'm also sad to see Ronaldo fail to win a trophy in this World Cup, and he might not win a World Cup trophy because he's no longer young. But what makes me sad is that Ronaldo's mother wanted him to win a trophy at the World Cup as a birthday present. He must be very sad about the tragic events that have befallen him. But this is life sometimes what we want doesn't come true

The upcoming matches will certainly be more exciting, and bettors must be more careful because it's not easy to predict future matches
