The round of 16 is over today and we are moving up to the Quarterfinals stage. Where France will play against Morocco, Norway vs England, Spain and Belgium and Argentina vs Switzerland. All these  matches are not going to be funny.

In my opinion, what the Egyptian coach said to FIFA was an expression of his disappointment because there was indeed controversy during that match. In my opinion, Argentina’s third goal should have been disallowed because there was a foul on Mohamed Salah in Argentina’s penalty box beforehand. The referee didn’t even check the VAR for that incident. Furthermore, in that match, not a single Argentine player received a yellow card, even though there were several fouls that should have resulted in yellow cards.

Not only for you but for most people including me see Morocco as a dark horse, Morocco is too much to underestimate but even so he again proved himself and until meeting with France in this quarter-final round, whether Morocco will succeed in revenge or not it depends on how they see the opportunities and gaps of weakness owned by France.

On paper, France is the favorite, and I don't think we can doubt that. However, Morocco is a team capable of surprising us. They started the World Cup with a draw against Brazil, then in the round of 32, they eliminated the Netherlands, forcing a penalty shootout. And not only did they win, they also dominated the match.

Morocco is an African team. I know that they do not have many star players. I have seen their performance. There is a strong bonding between the players. The understanding between them is also great. Yesterday I read about numerous conspiracy theories about FIFA actively helping the Argentina football team win. I don't know if this is true or not. If Morocco employs a strategy similar to Paraguay it will likely make it difficult for France to win the match within the 90 minutes of regulation time. France struggles to penetrate a tight defense, especially if the play is a little rough, which can make the French players uncomfortable due to provocation from their opponents.

However, if Morocco plays as usual with an open game, I strongly believe it will make it easier for France to win. The French squad in this World Cup is impressive, with every line boasting talented players. Therefore, I don't think the 2022 World Cup match can be a benchmark anymore, as the French squad in the World Cup four years ago is vastly different from the current one they are now more mature.
