LIDO: this coins perform so well recently and even in bear market Lido token trading volume is also so good. This is staking coin and many users use if for good APY.
GMX: it's also best coin and can perform well in 2023. It ATH was 60$ months ago and has potential to reach 100$ in 2023.

Matic isn't a new coin but this coin was released on 2017. That was 5 years ago but many of us didn't pay attention to it before. The coin only gained popularity by the time ETH have experienced an issue in its fees. People are then looking for alternatives and matic is one it. Overall, matic was still a worthy investment. The coin haven't pumped too much so I expect there are more to come from it.

A much older coin like ETH and others are falling hard right now but it shouldn't be a reason for us to look for other alternatives. There might be some coins who are shining during this bear but this are only temporary. We shouldn't fall for this trap because once we got in, these coins will only fall down and won't recover anymore.

I think he doesn't really hype it with real working usage at all. I understand that some people expect him to do it, but he won't do it. The only thing he could ever possibly do would be "you can buy twitter tick with doge as well" and that is not really a working usage, I can do that with fiat too, it is just adoption and not utility.

Utility is like how you use ETH for all the erc20 token movements and you need to spend that ETH so you need to buy it which creates a buying pressure and because of all the nft+defi+dex type of period we have seen ETH do a big ATH, since everyone bought it. That is a real utility and doge has nothing close to that and will never have one.

I share a similar perspective, and I would also probably add NEO as my third pick. Yeah, I know it's a longshot, but I've put my trust in it long time before (back when they were ANTS), and I see them gradually progressing and keeping up with the pace, although not having that much of an exposure TBH.

Indeed Big altcoins would be a better option if you are looking for a more consistent investment or having less risk involvement. But if you are willing to go down for the profit, smaller names would be a good option BUT you need to know which is which. New tokens has higher rate of increase over big names in this industry but since we are talking about profit, bigger risk would be present. The market prices of new tokens or altcoins has a higher volatility in terms of their market prices. Indeed it could generate bigger profit but that would also mean that there is a higher tendency for an investor to lose if he'd come across or be picking wrong altcoins.On my end, I prefer long term investment on altcoins such as with tokens with established communities (BNB, ETH, XRP and the likes), while waiting for bullish trend.

Some altcoins have indeed fallen and even some of the altcoins seem to be under constant pressure to rise again, maybe solana is a clear example of how the bear effect hit the market and also the effect of the collapse of FTX, but for traders now is a good time right at least to buy some altcoins that do have strong fundamentals that are likely to recover when the market improves later, I personally tend to keep thinking positively by trying to invest in altcoins like Eth, BnB and also Cardano.

Both ethereum and cardano are good coins, and it is possible we could get to witness some sort of recovery during this year, but in my opinion the recovery will be on the low side, as there are many people that are desperate and that will sell their coins at the first sign of a recovery.

For this reason it is important to keep our expectations in check and think of this year as a transition year, in which we move away from the bear market and we get closer to the bull market as the halving is coming during the next year.

2022 was not a juicy year, it was full of ups and downs and in the same vain I am not expecting a juicy 2023. But for the sake of this topic and incase of people drawing conclusions from the sample of people's opinions. I have this to say;
