The main reason for Ronaldo's signing in Al Nassr was not to come strengthens the team more but I think he was been signed for entertainment,  for the team to gain more popularity from the public.  I'm not expecting much from Ronaldo to change the performance of the team.

First of all, no one expects Ronaldo to perform in a way he used to perform when he was in his 20s. The reason why Al Nassr paid such a huge amount to Ronaldo is not just to keep them at the top of the table (if you check the points table for Saudi Professional League, you can see that Al Nassr is already at the top of the table). Ronaldo was brought to Saudi Arabia, in order to give the SPL and Saudi football more exposure to the outside world. The long term target is to win hosting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup and Ronaldo is a part of the bidding team (there are rumors that he will soon take up citizenship of Saudi Arabia).
