I don't know what is going on with Al Nassr. After losing the SPL match against their arch-rivals Al Hilal, they again lost to Al Wehda in Kings Cup. Al Nassr has been knocked out of Kings Cup with this defeat. Cristiano Ronaldo was clearly not happy and he was arguing with his team-mates after the loss. I feel like the team needs a big change after getting Ronaldo. It just doesn't work with this tactic. Lets be honest and say that it is not going to be the same as it is today, because Ronaldo is not as good as he used to be, that much is true, Ronaldo 10 years ago would have destroyed every team here.

Ronaldo is 38 years and cannot replicate his past performance as he did in Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, so I think the club and its fans are expecting too much from an aged player. Al Nassr must work hard to occupy the top of the Saudi Arabian League standings which is now occupied by Al Ittihad with a difference of 6 points.
and with a difference of 3 points, Al Nassr's chances of being at the top of the standings could be bigger if Cristiano Ronaldo cs is able to win the game and score lots of goals against Al Read nati, and it looks like Al Nassr will win this match and must always win in the remaining matches and hope in the rest of the Al Ittihad match there was a slip.

I feel like winning the title or not is not really important from business point of view. The money paid to Ronaldo was not just so Al Nassr could be good, it was paid to make sure the league gets more views, and does the league game more views? It does. I don't think they regret because they signed a contract with Cristiano Ronaldo but the main issue is they agreed to pay him too high salary which is ridiculously high in my opinion. The player actually brought massive effects for Al Nassr in marketing, for the Saudi Professional League and more for Middle East football. However the cost they spent for this deal is too high and maybe it is what they regret.

I think if they have chance to revert time and remake the deal, they will still sign with Cristiano but with lower salary offer for him. Is money important for clubs in Saudi Arabia, I don't know.
