One thing Saudi League and not only Saudi arabs teams needs to change or improve its stop playing shit tournaments like arab cups or something like that, that only generate more minutes and more possibilities of a injuty on a player, and are tournaments without any importance, asides of the feel of the owners who like to play that tournament only because they played against his brothers, or other crowns.

Those cubs can mean nothing compare to cubs in Europe but in England, we still see their domestic clubs fight for different cubs in each season. Players who play for Premier League clubs have bigger pressure on players on other leagues because they have to play more matches each season, play during Christmas and New year holidays, boxing days. It is more pressure on their bodies than players in Bundesliga, Ligue 1, La Liga or Serie A.

I understand Arabian clubs should reserve their star players who were bought from Europe with expensive transfer fees and are receiving high salaries, for most important matches and targets of their clubs. Because those players are mostly old and are no longer able to play every matches like when they were young.

All this tournaments might not mean anything to you but it does mean a thing to the teams that participates in them. It’s true that it exposes players to potential injuries

With old players, injuries require them more time for recovery but sometimes injuries can end career of old players. As old players, they must be more careful when playing to avoid injuries and prolong their career.

it’s just the same thing in Europe, there are also several cups and competitions teams participate in in Europe that actually does not mean alot just like the carabao cup but it’s part of an achievement for any club that wins it for the season. These competitions are mostly played by the second squad of the team so other players can rest properly for bigger competitions. The Saudi teams are supposed to do the same thing also and use their second squad for the cups until it gets to the final stages of the competition.

They will use their old star players more carefully but in short term, after buying those players recently and want to make noise for their clubs and the league, they will continue to use those players as much as possible.

I can not say anything else after seeing that Arab teams will continue to bring in european players just to build performance so they can compete with other teams and not just Al Ettifaq but other teams will continue to chase European players to be redeemed from the transfer market. I admit that this madness becomes even more serious when a team from the SPL will have big ambitions to build a big football and not hesitate to spend a lot of money just for European players.

I'm not surprised if Leo Messi doesn't win the Ballon d'or but he's favorite to win it because he won the Qater 2022 World Cup with his country, Argentina. He has proven beyond all ages that's he's the most decorative player and also the undisputed GOAT in football. You mention afraid, funny as it sounds because we can't compared Saudi Pro League to European football, SPL doesn't stand a chance. It because Ballon D'Or is rigged, Messi will win in this year Ballon D'Or because Argentina won the last World Cup even though Messi only can score in penalty kick. FIFA isn't aware if 38 years old person can play as good as a 25 years old, he can score many goals, score through free kick etc.

That's not because this league is not competitive and so on, but all the players who are nominated are those who play in elite leagues in Europe. If someone else had won the award, then no one would be complaining. But Benzema? I don't think that his performance was satisfactory enough to win this award. In the end, the voting was done between Sadio Mane and Karim Benzema, and the latter won by a margin of 356 votes. Mane received less than 200 votes, while Benzema received a total of 549. The best players from European teams are usually nominated for the Ballon d'Or. There are some good quality stars in the Saudi league at the moment but Saudi Arabia is still far behind in terms of the league. Karim Benzema has been nominated for the Ballon d'Or since he played for Real Madrid last season. If the Saudi League is ever on par with the top European leagues then surely several stars from the Saudi League could get nominated for the Ballon d'Or. Cristiano Ronaldo has not been able to perform as well in Saudi Arabia as he did during his time at Real Madrid. Compared to many other players Al Ettifaq bought this season from the top European teams, Demarai Gray can be a cheaper option because the price of Demarai in transfermarkt is currently 20m while he is even linked to some other teams like Al Shabab and even Fulham which mean this can't be easily for Ettifaq to hire Demarai Gray from Everton.

Even though the market value is around 20 million euros, if you look at the existing agreement, it must be based on agreement from the club and player, of course Demarai Gray will choose Al-Ettifaq. I have mentioned this a few times. Ronaldo was not just hired to participate in the Saudi Professional League or play for Al Nassr. There are bigger things in the pipeline, and the foremost of which is the bidding for 2030 FIFA World Cup. Saudi Arabia wants to host the tournament sometime in 2030 or 2034, and they want Ronaldo to lead this bid. Even after he retire from club football, my guess is that he will take up some position within the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, and co-ordinate the efforts to bring major FIFA tournaments to that country.

The Saudi league will surely become hugely popular since last season as Saudi clubs have been scrambling to bring in European players.  Currently, not only Al Ittefaq but other clubs are offering huge sums of money to bring European stars. In this transfer season they are trying hard enough to add players to Saudi clubs and most of the clubs are trying to bring in European players. However, the decision that Saudi football has made in order to build is perhaps the best players are offered such money to add to their club. Since Saudi Arabia is much better than before and with good stars in their team, SPL is going to improve.

In the end, Cristiano Ronaldo has proven that his choice to join the Saudi Arabian club (Al-Nassr) is the best. Because this season we can see many European star players following in CR7's footsteps. The latest news from what I've heard is that he's going to La Liga and will rejoin Sevilla. Thus he has found a new club and will not go to the Arab League following the players who have already moved there.
Sevilla will need his experience as a defender and that is indeed what they currently need, because they are also in a state of slump in La Liga that has never won. Maybe when Ramos joins it will help them, especially in defense. His experience is unquestionable, and his ability is still quite good.

Al-Ittihad seems to be cooking and they are landing yet another European player into their squad. He is Luis Felipe, who was brought in from Real Betis for a total fee of 25 million euros. Agreements, documents, and medical tests have been completed. As defending champions last season Al-Ittihad certainly want the best for their squad and considering Felipe Luis is a centre-back they would want his services to strengthen the defence. Luis Felipe's journey also seems to be very short with only one season with Real Betis after being successfully brought in last season from Lazio.
