Players must be good enough to catch attention of clubs in Saudi Arabia and receive good offers from those clubs. If they are normal, poor quality players in Europe, chances for them to receive overpaid salary offers from Saudi Arabia is slim or impossible.

I don't get reasons to feel jealous with them as at least they are good players and have quality to contribute for their clubs on field and they also have ability to create effects in marketing aspect too. No doubt about marketing effects from Cristiano Ronaldo or Karim Benzema as they are super star players. For other players, they actually contribute good quality performances for their clubs in Saudi Arabia.

We have seen some notable transfers from the Saudi League this season. Bounou would have not received offer to move there if he had not played well for Morocco in World Cup 2022 and for Sevilla in Europa League last season. Similarly for Brozovic with good performances for Croatia and Inter Milan. Mane, Firmino and Fabinho are famous players in Premier League so they are not surprising transfers to Saudi Arabia.

I agree with you. The quality of football in the UEFA confederation is declining. The Premier League and Serie A are very competitive. There are plenty of star players in the Premier League. However, there are few star players in Serie A. Also, Bundesliga and La Liga are not competitive. Every season in the Bundesliga we see the dominance of Bayern Munich. No other team even tries to win the title. On the other hand in La Liga we see the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona every season. So in such a situation, if the Saudi League is able to spend money to add star players to their clubs, and try to improve the Saudi League, I don't see anything wrong here. They have a lot of money, naturally they want to improve themselves.

I’m not losing any sleep over players moving over to the Saudi league for whatever reasons as their decision doesn’t affect me. Also, I’m aware that money, being a strong deciding factor in the decision making of some players has always been used to attract players. It’s nothing new. The Chinese at some point, also had players from Europe come over to play for their super league until it didn’t seem to be profitable for them anymore.

Star players who are also starting to see the end of their careers and leaving for the Saudi league won’t affect the quality of European football. With the exit of these star players, younger players with amazing talents are also entering the scene.

It might be true. Saudi club was just running this big project the country has been controlling by a new king. The new king was just seeing football as one of the important thing that can help the country to attract more investors to come. I would not be surprised to see that the country will try to pour more money to lure great players to join in the club. American league was not as crazy as saudi. It's only happening with intermiami but you can try to take a look at the overall team.

Even before the transfer market closed, M. Salah's name was reportedly also approached by an Arab League club. But Liverpool still retains him and M. Salah still has a long contract at Liverpool. It doesn't seem to be a matter of jealousy but because the Saudi team has a large budget and is able to buy and provide large salaries for top European players it can make it difficult for European teams to recruit players in each transfer season because many players are starting to be more interested in joining the Saudi team.

Looking at Lukaku career, it seems that it is difficult for him to become a club legend, he never stayed with one club for long. I also doubt that AS Roma will make Lukaku status permanent after his loan period is over, especially if Lukaku cannot be a solution for Jose Mourinho attack line this season. Chelsea, as the main owner was previously reluctant to let Lukaku go on loan, but I think Mourinho closeness to Chelsea management was the main factor in his transfer being realized.

We can't blame the Saudi League because they are buying various players from Europe for money. There is nothing wrong with the fact that the clubs that are in the Saudi League have the financial power to use that financial power to bring players from Europe to Saudi Arabia. When Manchester United began to ignore Cristiano Ronaldo, no other club in Europe expressed interest in signing Ronaldo. When no team in Europe showed interest in taking Ronaldo, if Ronaldo had not received an offer from Saudi Arabia, his football career might have ended there, but because of Saudi Arabia, we still see Cristiano Ronaldo on the field. That's really wrong. Did you think that if european leagus were just premier league, serie a, bundesliga and la liga. There are so many great leagues in european continent.
SPL would always become the last choice for european player to continue his career. Sometimes, money talk much for players which are aiming to get a high salary. The young players will always be prioritizing to compete in the european league rather than SPL. Even though someone like gabri veiga has become an exception.
