I don't really understand the tactic from the Saudi Arabians. There are a total of 16 teams in the Saudi Professional League. However, only 4 teams are majority owned by the Public Investment Fund and have access to almost unlimited funds to purchase players. What about the other 12 teams? I thought that it would have been better to distribute funds among all the 16 teams. Else, in the next season there will be a lot of one-sided matches, between the top-4 teams (which will be dominated by overseas players) and the remaining 12.
