Actually apart from the 4 clubs under PIF there is also one other club which is also active in hunting for European players in this transfer market. I've never doubted the footballing abilities of Sadio Mane despite his very unusual performance in the shirts in of Bayern Munich last season. I knew there was something he wasn't comfortable with which was the reason behind his decline in form.

I agree about this all but they are still doing instead of favoring one or two clubs, they are having four clubs which are going to compete each other for the top spots and fans will be able to have good title race between them, I was surprised may be this is typo mistake because you write Al-Nassr two times, and we have fourth club Al-Ahli if I am correct and this public Investment Fund is also owning Newcastle Untied as well.

There are two other teams that have stars in their squads as well and they are Al-Ettifaq and Al Ahli and also, you mentioned Al-Nassr twice. In fact, Al-Ettifaq has Gerrard as its head coach and with that, the competition in the Saudi Pro League will remain interesting and not one-sided as you suggest. You may think that it's nothing to them, but they are also not idiots who would like to spend money for nothing at all. Remember that 2030 world cup is still some ways to go and that means that they could make all this money back as well. If they do what Qatar did and overspend it, that would be still possible to make the money back because of tourism, they are trying to attract people to their nation and that means they are going to end up with a lot more eyes on them.

I understand what you mean, but the royal party and FIP claim that the four clubs whose 75% shares were acquired, will still be managed by the clubs and the management themselves. there is no interference here, although it is too biased if a club is acquired by the state. however, the concept they are working on is a project to develop football in Saudi Arabia. in fact, the kingdom also involved the ministry of sports that overshadowed it.

I don't think that the Saudis are after making profits from the club in the short run. Have you asked how did they get the money that they are using to sign these European players and paying them with fat  pay. I think the strategy that they are doing is to bring the world attention to their country through football,which they have succeeded in the first part by hosting the world cup.

But does this average even matter? It sucks to see that a player that you are give a fat pay isn't meeting up with the reason why he is paid such big amount. The Saudis knows what they want from a player and that is why they are paying you big so that you can relax and play quality football to improve the quality of the club.
