I will not disagree with your opinions but I also couldn't accept that signature campaigns don't  build trust. Yes it is true that the main purpose of signature campaign is marketing.  But I think it helps with marketing as well as building trust, especially if they have a trusted manager running their campaign for the long term. But short term signature campaigns cannot gain as much trust as they do long term signature campaigns.
