With my post I meant a bit different. It wasnt that people look for what is more or less volatile, compare what gives more or less profit, make decisions about short or long term investment. It was about Bitcoin being old and altcoins being new. Similar to stocks, some people prefer to buy reputed, old stocks like Apple, Microsoft, IBM and etc. While others buy small company stocks, like QUALCOMM that creates parts for devices like smartphones or tablets. Who would in 1991 think that we would have such devices now, and bought QCOM stocks when their prices was 66 cents. QCOM ATH was 2 years ago @ $180 price. People in 1991 could have invested in IBM and buy stocks @ $100, and sell them in 2021 for $130.

You have to know how to buy altcoins, and most importantly know which coins can make a profit. But mostly people watch youtube or read tweets, where talk about coins that have already grown. That's the time to sell, not buy. Now, for example, it's the real altseason, but many people don't believe in it and will buy coins at the end, when the price will start to fall. So there is less confidence in altcoins than in bitcoin.

It takes a lot of time to invest in altcoins and if you wait for a long time there is a profit and if someone can't wait for a long time then he has a big loss.I lost a lot of money after I invested in altcoins in my new state.
