I had the same answers as you but I am down on this question as there are now over 5.5 cards in this match.

Also, we got some updates for the Davis Cup as Australia edged out Czech Republic 2-1 earlier today. Most of us got the point with the Czech Republic exiting in the quarterfinals.

Tomorrow, i'll need some solid defense from PSG since I need a clean sheet from them to tie the score and if Trofo gets this right, then i'm done for this round.

And those late yellow cards are what helped get mine, so I'm currently 100% perfect so far for this round, I'm schooling Cryptofrka properly on how it's been done in 1st division.

We don't joke around here mate, you've got to know your place and that's the 2nd division  , I can see notblox1 is doing perfectly fine there without the mafia boss fixing matches to get his opponents hyped up, and even his own players perform woefully.

yeah, early red card ruined it all for under cards
it was a late change in answer for me, and brought me down a point
nevertheless, four different answers to go, but I have no positive overturn in this three seasons so far, not sure how others are doing on that (if getting down by a point first, best what I did was a draw / when going up by a point first, I have just one loss, and all others wins/draws)

so, basically, he was there, but didn't play singles, so it could be said that it was Serbia without Djokovic

Well I think when you compare cards to goals, I think the frequency for late cards (also in higher numbers) is much higher than for late goals. Getting yellow cards late in the game is almost guaranteed. When there is only one yellow card missing in a relatively lively game where there is still something on the line, it is usually going to be given to someone for wasting time, tactical foul, getting off their jersey for scoring late (correlation there), etc.

When I saw the red card in minute 14' I knew I didn't have to check whether my pick could have still held. But events like a red card early in the game almost always put any pick at risk where some thought was put into. Not even the early goal was positive for the over 1.5 goals / over 5.5 booking as obviously that would spark much higher intensity.

Brazil had their first defeat at home EVER in the history of the qualifiers, you guessed it. You had over booking points, there was a direct red in the 15th minute.

My picks have value, I'm sure. But tbh - Division 1 has been rough to me so far.

I'm quite happy with how I worded this. Australia was a big favorite, yet 18 people chose that the Czechs would go through.
To be fair, Lehecka was really close to winning it for them, he lost a tie-break against De Minaur before tightly losing 7-5 in the 3rd set.

Fully agree, I watched this live - it was a great experience. I wasn't mad at all, Čilić played fantastic tennis. When Delpo upped his game, you could simply see he reached a zone where he's untouchable.

I thought this was really risky, I know they like cards in this part of the world but also like 0-0 draws so I'm really glad this pick brings me level with you. 2 out of 4 is much better performance than before so yes, lets go!

I think the trickiest luck question is City-Liverpool. Haaland and Salah are the goalscorers but tend to be quiet on and off. But both are also penalty takers so it's risky to leave them out!!

Smart consideration that I didn't think about. But my approach to this question was different than yours although I did not conduct any statistical research on that, but I assumed that getting right one to score and the other player not felt very unlikely, but I say "felt" because I can't really back it up with anything.


I did well in the past with betting against a top scorer scoring or assisting. This might be subjective, but I believe I have been right more often than I have been wrong. But as I am thinking about it now, I guess you may have the upper hand statistically. The point you mentioned that both are penalty takers should not be underestimated and I didn't think about that. Perhaps you have outsmarted me here! 👍

Heck I was happy when I read this by my phone but when I check the spreadsheet, I just realized that I put them to lose on semi final instead lol. Agree 100% with this. And you made me remember that final, was incredible, i only watch tennis when some Argentinian player is having a good time, and when the team of Copa Davis reach high instance of the tournament.

That tournaments were played with the heart, Delbonis winning the last game when he is a pretty low average player. And the Del Potro game, coming back from a 2-0 down, amazing. With Maradona in the stands.

All that tournament argentina played with not so good players, Pella, Delbonis Mayer, Zeballos. Years ago we have better teams and we ended up losing in the final, it was one missing trohpies for us in sports.

The more I read about this question, the less I am satisfied with the decision I made. The little details like the two being penalty takers or the fun watching the game when you picked both to score, I should have probably gone with both scoring.

But at least slaman29 and I have another question being answered differently. That's something, because sometimes it is quite boring when you see that there are only two or three questions deciding about the final result.

I am realizing that they have put me on "0", in a situation that I do not understand, in fact this week I had to slow down my publication rate, due to personal time issues, but just this week, in fact I sent my responses on Same Sunday, I'm catching up on the thread and checking, and it seems that the answers did not arrive. With all these words I am not making a claim to compensate and accept my answers, the rules are written and it is my word against the rules, but I would not put my reputation at stake for 3 points to lie about sending a form, I just know that I sent them.

On the other hand, it seems crazy to me that this type of thing is being discussed in the middle of the season, the rules are there, they were discussed, and! As happens in any event, there is always a prior consultation, clarification, reforms, before starting the season.

To be specific about the fee, I'm in Div 2 because they put me there but when this started, I was one of the first to say, "I pay the fee", but the draft to Div1 was so good that being in Div2 was good too.

I'm not writing this to generate more drama by any means, but I think the debate about those points(penalties), quotas, eliminations, etc. It must be addressed, I will repeat it at another time, at end of season.

I don't understand what is causing you a problem but there is an easy failsafe. Spreadsheet is open this season, meaning anyone can look at it and see if they submitted.

As soon as you click send there is your name and timestamp shown in sheet while your answers are hidden. Just check if it is there.

We wrote about it before and i am double checking my entry every time. If anyone has problems contact us before the deadline. After deadline passes there is nothing we can do anymore.
