I said this before. As a manager you need to know the actual well being of your players,  know their weaknesses and all that , specifically when you're new to the club. You don't start calling players names out if they didn't play well or didn't make the lineups.  The media can really set you up with their questions.

United stinks from the top, I've said it more than 5 years ago already. Clueless management, they run the club for profit and not for on the pitch benefit.

Look at their incoming transfers, and then at the team composition. They probably look first if a player has Instagram with followers and then later if he maybe fits the team.

It's horrible, no manager can do a good job there. The only way forward is to give full power to the manager, and no manager has had that there.

I'm not sure what his issue is with Sancho and why he hasn't returned yet, but Rashford on the bench is justified in my opinion. Rashford has cost the team a lot of points this season because he is selfish and does nothing defensively; if he was at Manchester City, Pep would have kept him out for a long period.

Getting rid of the coach will only destabilize the team's rebuild, as has happened with Chelsea. The players aren't good enough, yet the managers are always punished. When will a team start firing underperforming players instead of the manager?

I am following the Copenhagen - Galatasaray game. Damn it would be sensational for them if they manage to qualify for the round of 16. I have rarely seen a team fighting as hard as they did during the CL group stage.

Yep they qualified. Its ashamed that Manchester United finished 4th. I was expecting either Copenhagen or Galatasaray to qualify after Bayer Munich but I really wish that we won against Munich. Turn out we still sucks after all and thats it I guess for today, nothing really unexpected except for Union Berlin scoring two goals against Real Madrid. Heck even scoring 1 goal against Madrid would be pretty decent already for a team like Union Berlin

Although my picks for the first round are irrelevant, I went with 2 or more goals for Union Berlin because I thought Real Madrid would certainly take this game lightly and give some of their players a rest, but when I saw their line-up, it didn't look as if there are any weak (or weaker) Real Madrid players on the pitch. The biggest surprise was that he let Bellingham go the full distance. I was quite sure he would give him a rest, but Ancelotti seems to understand that there are players who lose more than they gain from not playing. It was a decent goodbye to the Champions League for Union Berlin.

Manchester United is wrecked. If that's how they go about a final game in the group stage, which could have saved them a spot in the Europa League at least, then really good night for all of them.

I don't know about others, but I don't rely on the bot notifying me about submitting the answers. Trough this three seasons I got used to check questions on Monday, answer few of them and then submit on Tuesday. When there's no tennis involved, I usually submit my answers on Monday to get it done.

For a team like Manchester United, most of their players are pricey and yet some would likely sit through the windows transfer without getting any bid at all. Anyway, Rashford sucks with his attitude on the field by weighing down the team but compared to Sancho then I guess he is in much better position. I can already picture Sancho out for the entire season unless we got more injuries in the future

Trofo I have asked this question many, many times. But I think it's something about player rights -- employees just like managers but ultimately without the responsibility of performance. To me, though, managers get the sack so players should get the same risk. Unfortunately, you only get the sack as s player if you get convicted of criminal offences.

Best case scenario, you get managers like Klopp who doesn't like discipline problems, then he tells them to go find a new club. Then okay, their agents hunt.

Worst-case scenario? Players get frozen out for not performing, but still draw salaries. What a joke.

But "release" here just means contract ended, not renewed. Liverpool released 11 players last season. Some for performance obviously, but none were sacked.

Ikr and yeah with lack of playing time, that would affect their career but some players doesnt really seems to take this seriously because they got a payload every week. Well some player could be under performed due to several reasons then he gets sidelined onto the bench, sure pay this guy his check because he probably would get back in form and would be a good backup on the bench but in some player case like Sancho, its just lame to keep getting his paycheck like that
