Glad I stayed off putting in my answers until the AFC semi, though with the question voided, it appears I didn't need to wait. Some bewildering tactics from Klinsmann ensured South Korea were one of the tourney's most boring teams. Trofo did predict they'd wake up late, finally got 1 shot on goal, comfortable save in 85th minute but when you're diving for penalties with injury time coming, then you know this team weren't coached well.

Hoping mv1986 put in a South Korea pick, for a "ghost" free point for me, just to make me feel like I have a bone to pick if I end up losing this round!

I have to say though, didn't we have questions in the past where big seeds didn't even make it past deadline, and people who put them in anyway still had their picks marked? Not complaining at all, of course, I 100% support it being fair to those who're even asleep now to see the result.

I don't know why this should be voided,  if we didn't void answer for option when I player is on bench and later didn't play the match or even when a player wasn't even in the lineup and not on sub aswell,  like the case of last question when Jesus wasn't even played and its was counted,  why void this one . What then is the advantage and lucks we are talking about.  This question should never be voided for any reason since it was played .

Difference is that this happened before the deadline. Which creates unfair advantage to people from time zone similar to forum. And we purposely voided the question before opening the table. And this isn't up for discussion, bad situation happened and we tried to solve it in most fair way.

Personally I expected, that 90% will be on no. And we also received a lot of VAR requests for that one that aren't counted. I just mentioned the 3 I got and knew from top of my head while writing on the mobile.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I learned a costly lesson and now you have learned it too - always, ALWAYS check the spreadsheet after submitting. I checked it yesterday after submitting and once more before the deadline. My mistake probably won't cost me losing division 1 spot, but it could have. If I had one less win during the season, I would be in a real trouble. This way I need only one point in this round to secure staying in the division 1.

Hmm. I just saw the table and there's actually not much between me and relegation play off. Thought I'd be safe but now it looks quite, quite, near. Hm quite disappointed, but my fault. I wanted to do it earlier and then I knew that there would be the semifinal in the Asia Cup and I knew I had to leave the house and was sitting in a train. Thought it worked and when I open Excel files it somehow freezes or gets stuck. Don't know why. But ok, you've played a great season and now you got some luck, which I am cool with. It is different. When a player does not play, we sometimes purposely make it like that so it's risky to pick, or to give advantage for those that investigate. These games are settled after submission deadline.
We wanted to give advantage to Asia games question as well to those that wait for the result of the first game, considering that Korea was a big favorite we hoped they would win. Considering that we have the correct result to the question before deadline, it's best to void it and we have done so in the past.

Why even have the question? It is something that we try to balance, it's the final this weekend and we risked with it a bit because we wanted to cover the final game.

I don't recall accepting a question that was fully settled before the deadline.
It's a shitty thing to balance to be honest, in tennis it can happen that 1 out of 5 for example already gets kicked out. We would let that one be counted.

To be honest, we're the last ones that want to see it. It's funny that Trofo's got most of them (Chi20 is the 2nd one, so not really sure why he's the one complaining the most) - but we said that we won't be notifying anymore.
You can all still tag or notify, considering that bullrun2020bro (who actually changed his name to bullrun2024bro which I just see now so maybe he even didn't get the tag) was bottom of the league, there was always the risk that he wouldn't submit.

We would like to ask all of you to keep it fair until the end, this is a specific H2H competition in which a failed submission leads to unfair advantage.

There are 4 Division 2 players with 2 points penalties (Saint-loup, famososMuertos, bullrun2024bro, dbshck), we really hope they will all submit in the last round.
Failure to do so won't kick them out to Division 3, but fully out from BSFL.

It isn't voided that much because of the timezones, it is voided because there is already a correct answer available before the deadline.
If South Korea won 4-0, it would not have been voided. Then we would see who would use VAR, because if they won 4-0 there would still be 2 options available - to win with 4+ or not at all.

This was a chance Cro2 took even though they knew this could happen, but with only 2 rounds left, all the questions are very important that we can't have questions that become void (although there is always a chance of that) but this question should have remained.

I first took South Korea to score 4 goals or more, then I changed it to 3 goals or less then finally I changed it to NO and sent in my answer😂

don't take it too harsh, I said it is almost impossible to support all relegation fighters, so picked favorite one
doesn't mean that I wanted any to relegate (maybe 4 to relegate is a bit too much on 16 teams, could be re-thinked for next season Cro2)

nevertheless, several different questions in our series (South Korea was the same one), Atletico on 3/2 goals, Bayern to win or draw, Premier league on 0-1/3 points, Nigeria/Ivory Coast final decision, if they both reach final, and last question we had all five different answers (first time that I have all five different answer, complete contrary opinion)

It's unfortunate, in my case I have had two faults, one with kanapa that is no longer there, and another with bullrun2020 that is eventually at least in div 3.
So I have literally "screwed" myself with 8 possible points, (bad roads.    )

But without a doubt, this will "screw up" some in their aspirations, as corresponds  to classification, relegation, ITM, etc.

Well, actually I'm one of these who tried to benefit by using VAR. First I wasn't sure about it, but after Jordan scored 2nd goal, I went for it.
If game outcome was known before deadline, probably it's right decision to void question. Though, I think that we had similar case when of tennis players or Ronnie O'Sullivan pulled out from tournament before deadline and question wasn't voided. Offcourse, I may be wrong.
Anyway, not blaming Cro2, there is just so many aspect to consider when they make questions.
