I can't believe that in this round again I have only three different answers than my opponent. Harkorede, if I counted correctly, the only different answers are the France-Germany question, NCAA question and the F1 question. I hate situations like this because there's hardly anything to comment.

I understand how rounds likes can be meaning there is always a low margin of error allowed, but my usual personal interpretation of having a whole lot similar answers with an opponent is that we're either both shit or geniuses, so regardless which it turns out to be, I'm not alone and I only like round like this when I feel a bit confident about my decision in differences, just like in this case, I believe I have a better chance in the FRA - GER question, I'm also quite confident with my choices for the F1 (being H2H makes me more confident about it), the NCAA question is the only one I'd say even my optimistic state is one that I'd probably lose, so I can fancy my chances of a win (draw, at worse)

Yes, nothing is guaranteed of course, not until the end.

France vs Germany of course is friendly, precisely the reason for my decision simply because it's National team friendly and I'm not expecting a high scoring game.

NCAA fixture about the teams in question is not that hard to find, if you know where to look, the main problem is regardless of who the favorite is, just like a NBA all that matters to some side is to get a win and then NCAA is a more volatile sphere than the NBA.

Haha. No, I don't have connections with mafia. I guess it's like Harkorede said - either we are all smart or stupid. Judging by the results in the last round when we played against each other (3-1), I wouldn't call us smart

As for a different logic, I don't know how to do it. I always answer by my gut or research. But I'm not alone. In the last few rounds there is a lot wrong answers so I guess the problem is in unexpected results.

And what happens with the playoffs for this position, walkovers ?? And this affects Division 2 fixtures for the following season...

It's quite a tough one to see him so leave, he's one of core guys from the get go, from the very first season in division, what happens next has been explained by the organizers and just so you know it wouldn't affect anyone from Division 2, it was considered that he's lost all his fixtures and relegated as such, so there are just two more relegation positions in division 1 to battle out, and it will go on as usual with no disruption for the league.

The game isn't just gonna be the same without him, I hope he'll drop by sometime soon, and I wish him all the best.

He will not get the reward nor penalty points. We can't give out even last place reward to someone that played 2 rounds. He is effectively disqualified but without any penalty points or "evil fees" in case he comes back.

Division 2 can be filled from Div 3 so there isn't any problem with that. For the time being just consider him as the last one in Div1, if he comes back he will take position in Div2 if he doesn't we will fill that spot before next season. No need to over-complicate things.

Joking ofc, as Trofo said, we'll wait a bit and see if his decision is final. If he's not back by the end of S04 and does not confirm his place in Div2, 1 more team from Div3 will celebrate promotion.

I'm a point ahead after EURO qualifiers (thanks Wales), basketball looks decent too although I feel it will be EA7 who'll get the 10th place. Still early, but looking promising for me.
