I believe she has two event left to participate in and she should be the favorite in the 800 meters Freestyle as reported by NBCwashington and USAtoday's article on her, it was said that she had even won back to back gold in the 800 meters freestyle. She needs to fall short of gold for me though

Classic "MTO" fix Tennis is known for that, for example player A up 4-1 in set 3 then all of a sudden player B has "injury", then all of a sudden player B playing like superman/woman and comes back to win 6-4 etc. If you don't think fixing it happens in sports I don't know what to tell you. 

Oh yes lots of salty loses like that so I see it quite often, for example again just had wager die in the third set my player up 4-1 then "MTO" and now opponent comes back and wins 6-7, momentum shifts fake injuries you name it but ah well I digress.

Maybe he forfeits if he loses the 1st set but then again - what happens if he does?

Honestly i am expecting that final and hoping for it. If Djokovic wins it ,it would be even better and with how things are looking we will probobly see that outcome in the end,the final between Djokovic and Alcaraz

My guess is he plays good enough to beat this opponent to make finals so that would guarantee him a medal at the least, he won't be Alcaraz at less than 100%.

It might surprise you that I want her to win the gold more than you do and as such, I expect nothing from her than the dominating performance she did put up in the 1500meters. She had the springs in her legs and used it very well to get head starts. Hope Ariarne doesn’t beat her to it in this one.

It was really difficult to not pick him for the gold, I didn’t see Alcaraz doing much with the stats on him on grade to head but, he seems the best for the Job now with the Djokovic injury. The games are tight and don’t see how his injury wouldn’t be taken advantage of by putting pressure on that side. He wouldn’t be able to run, less alone, having to recover and react to shots quick enough.

Same here, what tipped me over to Djokovic was the fact that he has not won an Olympic gold. It was a sentimental decision which I am not so sure of now, plus my opponent picked Alcaraz for gold

Took a better look at Trofo's picks in BSFL and it actually comes down to Basketball (he has France, I have Germany and they play a little later). I need Germany to win to take this round to Ledecky's gold (she wins and Trofo will smile). There won't be a draw this round. Either Trofo wins by up to 3 goals, or I win by a narrow goal... Usually yes and in this case Djokovic claimed to be severely injured, but whoever is now watching the game, seriously this guy is not looking as if he is having any physical problems at all. Musetti must feel fooled by Djokovic. He is moving top notch and playing on a very high level with almost no interruptions. I thought Musetti might have a chance if it was true that he can't move as usual, but I think Djokovic has been an actor in the past a couple of times already.
