These first few days of the round have been underdogs galore, and i'm about to go down 0-3 if Heroic somehow qualifies by beating BIG clan in the lower bracket final.  

I'm struggling so badly that I could lose this round before Friday, and Renato is a few steps closer to his third win since I also have Hurkacz and Paul to survive until next week.

I think I already lost my round, too lazy to check, but Harkorede said we have three different answers, yesterday he got points on Olympiacos and CS and that should be it. Fucking CS, I got 3 right but he has those same 3 and then he picks 9z Team and they go on to get direct place while they opponents were 1.15 or something like that.

I realize that going with "No,No,No,No,No." on that question can become pretty tricky when the weather is bad and there are constant delays in the game schedule. I admit I have never checked the weather and obviously didn't do so this time, but I guess this could make a difference.

I wonder what would they actually do in the case of continuous rain over a week or something? Would games just be delayed forever?

Well, rain has to stop at some point. I remember that Wimbeldon final was played on Monday (after the tournament ended) when Ivanisevic won the title. The whole final game was constantly getting interrupted so they had to finish it on Monday.

Btw, didn't one or two players in the tennis question lose their games before the deadline? I remember that I expected bunch of VARs would be used, but no one used it.

RG has two stadiums with roofs. Play goes normally on them so it is never a problem in later stages when all the play is on those 2 anyway.

Early stages can get a lot of delays, but RG has over 20 stadiums so unless it is a whole week of rain it isn't a problem. Half of the draw should have been played yesterday, now they just postponed the whole draw for today. It is also clay so light rain isn't a problem like on grass.

But It is very surprising that 9z Team is in the semi-finals. They were the biggest outsider before the tournament started. The odds of them reaching the final were 251 and 501 if they win the tournament..

Ah, now it does make sense to even me! Haha, I was so confused, but my fault for not digging deeper into it although spent quite some time. I was so focused on the term "play-offs" in the BSFL question, but Trofo/cryptofrka specified "Name 4 teams that will reach the semi-final stage in playoffs."

Yeah it gets confusing at some point compared to dota2 because there are alot more teams competing in cs2 and normally in dota2 they used group stage instead of this bracket-type elimination rounds

Now that you dropped by the thread it practically means you have to sign up for next season  Kidding aside, I would love to have you in the competition, but it is more time-consuming than usual stuff on the forum, so I understand it isn't for everyone.

My chances of going to the play-offs are getting smaller after @PedroCunhaYori was kicked out of the league, it created a new composition in our standings . BIG lost to HERO which ensures that you & @shogun47 will not get any points in the CS2 question, the closest is still the king's cup match which could be the difference later, although I'm not sure about @shogun47 answer, but I hope it will be a draw at regular times .

However I don't know whether the number of playoff spots gets lower in case of having less than 12 teams until the end of the season. If there is such thing then things are about to get very interesting.    Otherwise everything is still the same as we have talked until now.

Collins out means I'm 2-0 down, luckily I already won the tennis and CSGO H2H questions.
We still have 3 different ones, and Metz is currently having a decent result away to St. Etienne. I'm in the driving seat but things change quickly in BSFL.

PedroCunhaYori is out after 3 failed submissions in a row, shame to see because it will rearrange positions in the Division in the last game of the season.
It is what it is, hope it won't affect some that were already safe in the playoff positions before this.

Large turnouts are good for the competition, just sad to see PedroCunhaYori get the third strike which DQs him

Otherwise with this development, I hope it does destabilize the positions as I lost valuable points for late entries such that my wins never carried the full weight of 3pts instead got 1pts   and I learnt my lesson especially since I have one more strike and am out and this is the only way up(walkovers)..

Yes, its listed in OP. The evil fee sounds fair as well as the punishment to start from the lowest division

Evil fee

• In case a member got disqualified in any of the previous seasons and wants to join again, he is returning from the lowest possible Division.
  The initial penalty for participating again is a 1mBTC 'evil fee' that is returned to the player at the end of the season if the player submits the answers for all rounds on time.
  If he fails to do so, evil fee is kept and shared between all the teams that secured promotion from Division 3 in that season.
• If a player gets disqualified again, the each subsequent time the evil fee is doubled, so becomes 2mBTC, then 4mBTC etc.

I just noticed that Im currently up 2 points because I have already won points from question #8 and there are only 2 question left so worst case scenario would be a draw which would be graded on Saturday's UCL. I just need Real Madrid to win no matter how they do it and I should win this round, really needed this extra 3 points

Thanks for jumping in. I will just add that Rikafip is the only one that used this and so far it has done wonders for his ranking. So if some of you have trouble with motivation maybe you can pay a voluntary evil fee to make you more invested

For Greeks this is like winning Champions League  
I dont think Italian players were motivated enough for conference league, and whole concept of this competition is boring to me, but big congrats to Olympiakos for winning.
Now PAOK must try their best in European competitions next season, I heard they hate Olympiakos.

I never expect weather to delay things that badly. GSs will lose money. Fans need to be reimbursed for extra hotel stays, crew need extra salary, etc. etc. =p

I had a peek at the questions from the previous rounds, I also read the first post thoroughly to understand the format and rules.

Nah, only 3-2 (with WTA as expected). Rune survived his tiebreak from 0-5 (!!) to keep you in the tennis spot (I needed him to lose to gain an edge here). So it's plenty of time left to see who wins. We might even draw this round, depending on the UCL final...

Now it looks like I have got 2-1 ahead after Collins dropped out of the tournament early.    When it comes to the CS question I didn't have much knowledge about the teams to be honest. Thankfully you also couldn't get ahead of me. And about the 3rd question, it is 1.95 for Al-Hilal and 3.50 for Al-Nassr to win. I believe in Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.    Without Neymar I think Al-Hilal can have bigger difficulties.

IDK what you're thinking, you submitted the answers not early after the form opened which means you can see more results in CS2 matches, but why didn't you choose Spirit? that really makes me wonder, I mean, hey guys, don't you understand this game and just answer randomly?

I didn't check with proper certainty, I said we had a lot of questions with difference and only just about 3 similar answers only.

I'm currently up 4-1, with Collins crashing out of the Roland Garros WTA already, however we still have 4 questions with different answers between us, it will be absolutely fucking disaster If I manage to screw this up by not getting all 3 points, and I really could use the huge points differential too.
