I’ve already paid the Season 9 fees, so there’s no turning back now! I know DV3 clubs eat DV4 clubs for breakfast, but I’m ready to feast too.

I was wondering if we can have a preseason like system maybe a week or two before the start of a new season. It will integrate new players joining, allow for friendlies to be played and give existing players a warm up, less chance of failed submissions for the proper start of the season.

Not sure if it's in anybody's interest to be honest. Most people are already waiting for a few weeks, and not many agreed friendlies during the Cup Final/playoff rounds.
We feel it's best to play for something from the off, BSFL is freakishly long with 20+ contnuous weeks of action so prolonging it further with pre-season doesn't seem needed.

Oh, come on. We all know about curling because of the Winter Olympics a month ago. I'm sure that you can come up with some weird sport that no one has ever heard of. Here is one sport - bog snorkeling and this is what I found out about it:

It's a sport where competitors swim two lengths of a 60-yard trench cut through a peat bog, using only flippers and a snorkel — conventional swimming strokes are not allowed. The World Bog Snorkelling Championships have been held annually since 1985 in Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales, the UK's smallest town. The current dominant champion is Neil Rutter, who claimed his sixth title in 2025.

Fun story, I used to swim long distances in Kostrena with a guy training for something similar. He called it orientation diving (it was "orijentacijsko ronjenje" in Croatian not sure if it actually translates to anything). As far as I understood the "sport", idea is you get dropped in some muddy water with 0 visibility and have to find your way to something with the help of pair of flippers

Team LFC feels good, after the close miss last season we are confident of promotion. The owners will not accept anything less than promotion to Division 2 this season.

Season 9 is just around the corner then? I'd have loved to remain in Division 2 for longer instead of relegating in my first season there already...    But anyway I'll just focus on what's next.

I've talked to my players about our main objective. Of course it's going to be to win the Division 3 title! I'm looking forward to promoting back to Division 2. We can do it in the new season.

Awful man, I was already celebrating that there wasn’t two of international football to contend with and there shouldn’t be formula 1 for the week either only for mafia as usual to come up with another extremely weird sport, and I can’t afford not to start the season in the best way possible, I’m not losing any form of motivation though, I’d have just preferred you go easy on us to start the season, but nothing is ever easy with the mafia.

In the previous season I didn't only drop from the title race but also lost the 2nd place. But as always my main objective will be to become the champions of Division 1 again.
