I think sometimes this goes under the radar, I had a few settled like this before I even knew about the settlement rule.

Yeah, I don't like the fact that we have to make our bets in the middle of the week because often the best games are played on weekends. But it is what it is. Freebets are an extra feature so we need to play by the Sportsbet rules. I managed to lose three out of five bets. I hope that at least one bet will be a winning bet.

Not gonna complain here but I do kinda wish we could activate the freebets as they come with a 3 days of expiry. I would really have preferred to use it for Champions League or at least a big match, few matches are big or important now.

I think you only need to use them to place bets within 3 days of receiving them, it doesn't state that the bets need to be settled within 3 days, I'm sure I do use mine on weekend or beyond matches even if I received them on Monday and it gets settled accordingly.

Hm... I was sure that it said that a bet needs to be settled before May 15th in order to use a freebet. But I'm not sure now and I can't check since I used all of my freebets.

I can confirm as other people have said, the rules of the freebet say it must settle 15th may (not before, on and including, that means 23.59pm 15 May).

So there is a few things you have to consider with freebets.

> The game must end before that time so if it starts at 9pm but somehow gets delayed, lets say with extra time and penalties and what not and ends after midnight, you don't get the result.
> The game must actually take place. If you play tennis game and it is not finished or the game is cancelled, guess what, no bet.
> The bet must actually 'qualify'. So like if you pick a player to bet on and he doesn't play, also no bet.

You WILL be allowed to bet on a game after the deadline, it just won't win you anything, so be careful

@Harko in the past you could bet on a late game past 3 days but now its absolutely not gonna win you anything anymore. Many discussions already happened in ANN thread for SB.

@slackovic agree that its just an extra feature with freebets that we just have to deal with, as I said I'm not complaining. HOWEVER with $250 in freebets that you won in a special competition, I think it should be more flexible Maybe still 3 days expiry, but for settlement max 30 days? Its just about being able to use them for something you really wanna bet on like I dunno CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL!!

Every season, we play 11 Barcelona women + 1 ref in the semi-finals; the Barcelona women team are just as corrupt in the Europa competition as the men's team.  They were tactically better than us this season, but we were robbed in the previous two seasons.

We're not doing well in Europe, but we're killing it in the league, which is the most important thing.  Perhaps you should know that we have won the league five times in a row, including the cups. I'm sure they will beat Djugarden ass men's team.

Put some respect on my teams name! Our player budget was like 1/50th of yours PLUS we had major injury problems going into the game vs chelsea... You guys even started some of your heavy hitters or subbed them in after 50-60min so don't tell me it was a walk in the park and you were airing the bench in that one. This UECL trophy might be the only silverware you guys get for a loooooong time and I will continue to laugh every season that you spend $1bln and get nowhere in the table

In Season 7 of the BSFL we're adding a test side competition. We're happy to introduce the beat the Mafia challenge!

In every round you'll be able to challenge one of us (or both of us!) for a winner-takes all sidebet.

The rules for this one will be fairly easy:
- we will deposit 20mBTC to a separate escrow address
- if you want to compete against us, you'll have to notify us in the thread
- for your challenge to be valid, you need to pay 0.5, 0.75 or 1 mBTC to the escrow wallet before the deadline
- if you lose, Mafia keeps your money. If you win, we pay you 2x your stake to the wallet of your choice
- in case of a draw, the challenger picks either the return of the stake or another challenge
- you can challenge us as long as there is money on the escrow, but we reserve the right to stop the competition between any round
- a maximum of 5 challenges will be taken per single BSFL round, on a first come first served basis

The sidebet will work like a regular BSFL H2H duel - so each H2H question will be graded directly between the challengers.
