OK, I finally joined this competition after being persuaded by my Croatian friends and I have to admit, the questions were a little harder than expected.
I hope I don't suffer a big defeat from xLays, who I'm competing with, and that I don't embarrass myself lol  
One remark or suggestion for the competition organizers, if I may. In the question about college basketball teams, it wasn't explicitly mentioned that it was actually the American College Basketball League.
I assume that this question was a continuation of many previous questions about the same league, and that almost everyone already knows what it was about, but this question bothered me because I wasn't really sure which league it was (So I first tried to guess which league we are talking about before analyzing the strength of the clubs themselves and their chances of winning).
Can you ask the question a little clearer next time, without assuming that everyone already understands which league it is? It's just 1 extra word in the question anyway.

I think the question is clear enough. It reffers to "March Madness" which is a knockout tournament played in the United States between college basketball teams. If you didn't know what "March Madness" was,  you could easily do a google search.

New season, season 9 is just starting, season of the world cup.

I start again a super hard rival in his pitch, CLS is a well know player of this league and a solid rival so is not gonna be a easy start for my team but the best of this is if i take a win on this game i start super solid and with an extra push for this mighty season, lets go!

Don't worry, this is the hardest bunch in a long time, at least for me. Usually we have CL and plenty of football on the weekend and then you get 7 or 8 easy questions. This week we had to scrape the barrel a bit to find some stuff for real Fanatics.

Season 9 is here. It looks that we started not so long time ago and it's already season 9. Damn, time flies fast. Another year of hope to return to Division 1, but probably it will be crushed in few first rounds.
Tough first round, NBA is where I have very little knowledge, while NCAA March Madness is always lottery. Anyway, still better than any esports questions

Hmm. Random draw or random Croatia-style draw? You're going to have to be content with bottom placing in Div2 though, because no amount of research will prepare you for NCAA. I sent my scouts state-side while my team trained behind closed doors.

All the unknowns have been resolved and now we have complete Divisions and schedule. We asked each team in Div 4 by their season 8 ranking until we found our new Div 3 member - cygan.  Just in time to kick off new season in a proper way. Here are the tables and schedule once again.

As usual, schedule for all future rounds will come out soon, that is why I would appreciate if those missing a club page or wanting to tinker with their logo would do it asap. Once schedules are out, they will not be updated, too much work First three divisions are mandatory, Div 4 is encouraged but you guys don't have to do it

It was like this every season, in case someone applied for BSFL later on, we included them in the cup. In case we have more than 72 players in the future and not enough to form Division 5 all those clubs will be without league and still part of LMS/Cup. I don't know if you noticed but we also have relegation in Div 4. Meaning team that is part of BSFL can be left without a league for season or more. We introduced that in season 8 when we filled 4 full divisions but enough teams got kicked out so we didn't need to relegate anyone.

Hahah, how did I not know about division 4 relegation - so the prodigal teams get to sign up again as freshers to rejoin back to division 4. Please don't blame me, I'm so up there and had no idea what was going on in the lower divisions. Big teams gotta think big you know 

Also I would like to add, only poor clubs with chicken shit managers wouldn't relish to take out a club without league  Perfect opportunity to send out reserve squad out there and show them what the competition is like.

Lol my Women team are equal to the tasks and there's also Igebotz U21 without a division yet.

Not really. Being part of BSFL in the previous seasons doesn't give you any more information about the college basketball question.
This is my fifth season in BSFL and if I remember correctly, I had never seen any question about March madness.

March Madness is a colloquial term that is really well known, even more than NCAA I'd assume.
A part of the BSFL is also to kinda teach you about the sports you didn't track so far so yeah, sometimes you'll have to do some heavy lifting yourself
