Well we have a game in the Spain v Belgium match, Spain scored first and Belgium equalized not a bad start at all and we are likely to see more goals 2nd half. So this turned out to be a quick exit for our team, that third goal in the Spain vs Belgium game sealed the win for our opponents and we just weren't good enough in the cup this season.
Now we will focus on the league and LMS, we need to work on finding better bench players to reinforce the squad so we can compete better in the cup next season, it's clear to everyone at the club that we have a weak bench right now, so we need to focus on finishing at the top of the league this season as it will give us the budget we need to invest in a stronger squad for the future.

I was hoping Spain would drag the match after they scored 1-0, but Belgium didn't settle and found an equaliser a few minutes before halftime. It could've been a 1-1 when things stalled in the second half, but Belgium's keeper suddenly getting injured made things easier for Spain to end it on regulation. Congrats to xLays for the early win and for securing semis.

Yes, it was what we went for as a team in Road to Glory but I was stubborn and decided for the harder result. To be fair,,, it was almost 2 goals only

They're all underdogs in the cup I think -- with all due respect. I normally used to remember betting on somewhat familiar names but el che is already out, and Vivek's a cricket guy with no right to be in the cup (sorry friend haha). The Koal-84 - B1g4udge game still isn't officially over, but we already know that B1g4udge is the winner.
In a freak occurence in which they had 3 out of 5 questions different they still went to penalties. There they had 2 different choices in the first 5 penalties but it was still a tie. All remaining answers were the same, including the exact duration of the men's final.

Therefore, a really unpopular rule had to be used:

If the result is a draw after the first 5 questions, the tie-breaker comes into play. It will consist of 8 bets on the same game and will be like regular penalties. Only the first 5 choices will be looked at, and if it is still a tie after these 5, one per one bet will be checked until the winner is found.
If there is no winner even after 8 penalties, the player that submitted earlier will be the winner.

Therefore, B1g4udge takes the win.

Argentina keep getting lucky in this World Cup, had a bit of problems with 10 men Swiss, yes they did overcome but come on now although that goal from Alvarez was sweet I can't see them beating France cause it's pretty obvious FIFA wants the rematch between again. France should be able to beat them this time around without pens, but I guess we have to see how this final four plays out first, the Argentina v England match should be good hopefully should see some goals there.

Since Di María retired we've struggled to fill that void, Almada hasn’t been able to fit in and it disrupts the flow going forward. We tried changing up our formation to avoid relying on Almada but switching to that 4-1-3-2 setup only make us more defensive and flat. Somehow we still find a way to grind out results and reach the semifinals.

Facing England in the semis is going to be complicated but they are beatable if we can fix our defensive shape. As for France (assuming they manage to get past Spain), there's no question they would enter a potential final as the clear favorites, but if there is one thing this Argentina team has proven, it's that they are more than capable of putting together one flawless, legendary performance when everything is on the line, with a bit of magic from Messi and maybe a referee call or two going our way, anything is possible.

Champions don’t always play beautiful football all tournament long, the key is peaking at the right moment. I believe that's what's about to happen to Argentina.
