Quetta Gladiators were the best team in this league and they proved this in the Qualifier 1 match yesterday. They outclassed Islamabad United in both batting and bowling and there was no chance for them to even come close at any point. Faheem Ashraf was the man who destroyed the dreams for IU. First he had a quick short 45 runs innings and then he also took two wickets in his 3 overs.

In the previous match, Islamabad United played well against Karachi. But Islamabad could not maintain the consistency. However, it was very difficult for Islamabad to perform well against Quetta Gladiators. Both the batsmen and bowlers of Quetta Gladiators are in good form. The batsmen were able to give a big target of 210 runs. The bowlers were also able to perform their duties properly.

Quetta was able to collect 209 runs due to the excellent batting of Dinesh Chandimal and Faheem Ashraf. Chandimal scored 48 runs in 28 balls and Faheem scored 45 runs in 23 balls. Also, usman, Abrar and Amir all three bowled very controlled. As a result, Islamabad United's innings was stopped for 139 runs. Islamabad lost by 30 runs.

That was totally one sided match because one team applied pressure from the start of match and Chandimal played very excellent in this match and he made 48 runs in just 28 balls and he was not out at the end of inning and whole team did work and that was the reason they won the match by 30 runs. Islamabad United cricket team last batters could not play well and they gave wickets back to back and opponent team bowlers did excellent bowling at the end and match bent to their sides.Only Farhan was a person who made half century from the team of Islamabad United and other players played very short inning in this match and we saw one sided result but we are not habitual to see that kind of matches.

Last 39 bowls are left and Lahore Qalandars need to make 54 runs, this is so easy for them. Lahore to play the next Qualifier round against Islamabad United. Islamabad United badly lost their last game against Quetta (Quetta is in the final now.)

From KK side, top scorer was David Warner who played a 75 runs innings on 52 balls and after that we saw an entertaining innings from Kushdil shah lower down the order where he scored 27 runs on just 14 balls. LQ showed there batting strength today by finishing the match in just 18.4 overs. KK 190 runs were not enough on this pitch, they should have given a target of 230 to give there bowlers a chance to win the game.

From KK side, top scorer was David Warner who played a 75 runs innings on 52 balls and after that we saw an entertaining innings from Kushdil shah lower down the order where he scored 27 runs on just 14 balls. KK 190 runs were not enough on this pitch, they should have given a target of 230 to give there bowlers a chance to win the game. 

Karachi Kings decision for batting first was good as they have good flying start and things were completely under their control but in last five overs they lost their rhythm and Lahore Qalandars take charge of this match because Kings fail to stay on balance and end their inning on 190.

This target was short of 20 to 25 runs which give good advantage to Qalandars Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique have good day with bat, and they thrash Kings bowlers which fail to keep their mark and not able to defend this total Abbas Afridi and Mohammad Nabi both were had the worst day in this game as their bowling was not on track but still David Warner done good job for them in throughout season.

Now today Islamabad United going to face Lahore Qalandars for spot into final where Quetta Gladiators are already waiting for their opponent as they beat United in first qualifier and have their spot into final of PSL 2025.

Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars are playing the Eliminator match, which is crucial for both teams as the team that loses will be eliminated from the tournament. 

Karachi kings chose to bat first and they made the right decision. They made 117 runs and are well on track to reach a challenging total. KK bowlers team failed to secure their runs from LQ team and LQ team successfully won game by 6 wickets and 8 balls. Their batters looked in great touch, finding boundaries regularly and keeping the pressure on Lahore's bowlers throughout the innings. With 190 on the board, Karachi looked well placed to defend and stay alive in the tournament. But Lahore Qalandars came in with confidence and a clear plan. However the openers didn't give a good start but as the game proceeded, Fakhar Zaman played a key role, timing his innings well and keeping the scoreboard moving. As the game entered the middle overs Lahore's batters found gaps with ease and didn't allow karachi to settle. A few big shots in the death overs sealed the game with just four balls to spare. The LQ chased down the target winning this game by 6 wickets and ending karachi's journey in PSL.

The collection of 190 runs was not a bad collection. Fakhar Zaman made a good start. Fakhar Zaman collected 47 runs from 28 balls. Abdullah Shafique's innings of 65 runs from 35 balls made Lahore's road to victory easier. The performance of these two Bhanuka Rajapaksa and perera was also good. The match between Lahore vs Islamabad will also be exciting. Islamabad won the first match against Lahore by a big margin of 8 wickets and lost the second match by a big margin of 88 runs.

Sad to see Karachi Kings crashing out of the tournament. I was supporting them, because of David Warner. And that ends the first PSL season for Warner as well. He finishes at 368 runs from 11 matches, at an average of 33.45 and strike rate of 153.97. Among the top-5 batsmen in PSL, only Fakhar Zaman has a better strike rate compared to him. Hopefully Warner will return to Kings next year and may pile on even more runs for the franchise. He is 38 years old, so I believe that he has 2-3 years more of professional cricket left with him.

Finally Lahore Qalanders has taken thier revenge successfully by kicking out Karachi king from tournament. Karachi owner and management has history to troll Lahore for his past seasons worst performances and that's somehow create thier rivalry and pushed them to take revenge of disrespecting them. Honestly It will much much better to meet Lahore and Karachi at final because both side has quality match winning player so things will be much for spicy to watch. Well warner done better then another player experiencing first season at PSL where a single mistake can put a full stop on your career at PSL. Anyway Shafiq delivery quite impactful innings at such crucial situation where things can lose out of Lahore grip.

Yeh it's really hard time for Islamabad United fans, because no one expect such end from them especially after such huge win streak at early on matches. but I think some defeat at middle broke their momentum as well as some of thier main player absence hit them hard, due to which they unable to revive. while on the other hand lahore lineup properly utilize thier home ground advantage in both field, and thus restrict them quite below the required and finally from the verge of being knockout from tournament they make a comeback and successfully got qualified for final against Quetta. which will be no doubt a high voltage fight. Honestly it will be really shocking for me announced Lahore as third time champion of PSL because I think Quetta really deserve to be that season champions.

Very decent effort was showed LQ team today and they successfully beated IU team in 2 nd Qualifier game in PSL series. Congratulations LQ team to qualify in final game and this game will play with QG team and this team was not beated in past 6 games and this game will be tough for LQ team to win final game. In 2 nd Qualifier game, LQ team set 202 runs target in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Kusal and Naeem batsman was hero of this game who helped a lot team by showing great effort. Kusal scored 61 runs in 35 balls and hitted seven 4s and two 6s. Naeem  made 50 runs in 25 balls and hitted seven 4s and two 6s. IU team showed very poor effort in batting and they lost all wickets very fast and chased only 107 runs and lost game by big margin 107 runs.

Today's Lahore Qalandars delivered a powerful performance against Islamabad United securing a huge 95-run win in their PSL encounter.  Batting first, Labore Qalandars set a strong foundation and piled up an impressive total of 203 runs.
