This is a common "feature" of the market, dont think of it as a problem. Say you have a certain number of bitcoins to sell, when the price crosses your selling point, sell a fraction of that if you anticipate more highs. Then once it slows near another high, sell some more.

Similarly when the price is going down and you have fiat at hand, spend a fraction and wait for the next low. At point point you will run of fiat to spend when you need to stop and wait.

4 years ago few coins i hold for future. now this coin price few value or most of coin value is zero. Few coin trade, there too big loss. past year in the case of 1 coin invest $1000, this coin price today zero.

What you bought four years back must have been some altcoin, which I always tell newbies to avoid. Cant help it now, you have to either keep holding it in hopes that it might come back up or cough up more money to invest anew, and this time keep it limited to bitcoin.

I would say hold and bitcoin. I know that it was sell or trade, but I would not sell and rather not trade, and I would rather pick bitcoin over all others. Why do you think that bitcoin is at the top right now and bigger than all the other coins, at times even bigger than all the other coins combined? That is because it is the best one and why would I prefer something that is worse than something else?

I would rather pick something that is better than all the other options and bitcoin is better than all the other options. In this case holding makes me profit because why not hold the thing that is the best out there for as long as possible, that sounds like a good investment.

for Bitcoin I prefer to just buy and hold it. because Bitcoin is suitable for long-term investment. But it's different with Altcoins. although there are some altcoins that do have good potential if held for the long term. but I prefer to trade altcoins with short-term trading (scalping). or I buy when the hype is about to happen and release it when the hype is almost over. but if we want to become a fairly reliable crypto trader. then of course we have to learn more about all kinds of analysis and also have to master psychology in trading. common sense should always take the lead in trading activity. don't let our emotions lead our bodies when we are trading. because emotions sometimes contradict common sense. Excessive fear and greed are the factors that make traders experience the most losses.

Remember mate, where there is risk, there the profits are also high. But along with high profits, the risk also increases. So decide according to your need and capabilities. If you have sufficient money and don’t care if you lose some, then altcoins investment are best to make quick money. But if you care about your hard earned money and want a safe and stable investment with little percentage of returns, then Bitcoins are the best. Now your money, your choice. If you really knew about the market, you would understand why the market goes down. A trader needs to have knowledge about the market to trade crypto, so that such common questions do not cross your mind.

This is a common "feature" of the market, dont think of it as a problem. Say you have a certain number of bitcoins to sell, when the price crosses your selling point, sell a fraction of that if you anticipate more highs. Then once it slows near another high, sell some more.

Similarly when the price is going down and you have fiat at hand, spend a fraction and wait for the next low. At point point you will run of fiat to spend when you need to stop and wait.

I think that is trailing stop or something, I forgot what it was called. I agree that it would be smart to get out portions when it goes up, that way you could definitely get out with some of your money in tact, but also stay in with some of it still going up. You should be both careful but also willing to take some risks to do this, and not many people realize that.

I know it sounds like something that people are not really that much capable of, just by looking at the market and the complaints and outcries of people whenever it drops a bit. There are too many people who stupidly still buy when it goes up, and cries when it goes down from that top.

Hold sell and trade is the best way to earn in crypto just choose the best coin to hold and wait till market condition become more better and sell while you are holding you can also do trading and earn everyday or every week it depends on you, there are a lot of ways to earn in crypto just do the right strategy and have patience to avoid loss.

Trading with altcoins is certainly one of the right ways to get passive profits by taking advantage of the ups and downs of market price movements, especially for people who already have enough experience and knowledge about a very volatile market.
But in my opinion it is not recommended if you plan to hold altcoins for the long term because so far if we pay attention to the average altcoin not being able to maintain its price in a bear market even some of them are usually worthless during bearish periods, only bitcoin is the only coin which is good for us to hold onto in the long run.

It is very difficult to be successful in every singsingle day trading and understanding the current market conditions, so always focus on those coins which have a good future and invest in those coins and hold them for a long time.  In that case Bitcoin, Ethereum are the most potential coins. The value of Bitcoin and Ethereum is unlikely to go to zero and may see major corrections at times but they will not completely depress you. but here long time holding has the potential to give a big profit

I've gone through all the stage in the image, and I'm still holding bitcoin until now. I no longer care what the market is like, I just believe buying gradually and holding is the best choice in the long term. We have been through the depression stages for 2022, and now the market is starting to appear to be recovering to encourage more confidence.

You're not alone, it happens to everyone, here's something I tried and it worked out for me. I don't buybaok my coins at once and neither do I sell all my allocation am the same time too. I sell them gradually or I buy gradually. When I do this, it doesn't matter how the market wants to play her game, I'll still benefit. If the prices dump after buying that's fine I have spare funds to buy more.

Same thing if he price rises after I sell, I have some coins left that I can sell in the future. The market always plays this trick on everyone but you have to make out a way so the market doesn't make a fool of you always, you can just hold and avoid all this and when you're in profit you leave the market totally.

Long term trading? That would be scalping. Bitcoin and top altcoins are better. Many altcoins can just be shit coins is the problem and they may not follow the market direction. To use bitcoin or the high market cap alt depends on the leverage that you want to use. I can use up to 3x for bitcoin, but I prefer to use 1.5 to 2x for altcoins. Some people may use high leverage for altcoins, altcoins are more volatile and that makes liquidation more possible with altcoins.

I will only agree with you that only Bitcoin and Ethereum are suitable for long term investment, I do not trust the top 10 altcoins. Don't forget, the top coins like LTC, NEO, and EOS...they can never go back to their old ATH, or some have also been replaced by more potential altcoins. Once called an altcoin, even if it is a topcoin, it is still replaced over time, do not invest long term with the top 10. Besides ETH, I don't believe in any 2nd altcoins, BNB is only suitable for short-term investment.

In as much as long term investment is concerned it is for bitcoin. Altcoins are not trust worthy and as such can vanish at any time, so it is not wise to invest in altcoin for a long term. I have also seen people that do DCA in altcoins, I think that is even riskier because all you DCA can just vanish. DCA is for bitcoin.

You are right. that is why people who have known crypto for a long time in the end they will only choose bitcoin for long term investment. while altcoins are only used as a means of speculation for the short term. maybe those who are new to crypto will be more tempted by altcoins. because even though they know about the big risks in altcoins, they haven't experienced them first hand. but when they have experienced big losses from altcoins then they will realize and switch to bitcoin. it has become a common cycle.

Many people here said to hold bitcoin, I also think that bitcoin should be held because, holding bitcoin is less profitable than other altcoin coins, but much less risky than other coins. Unlike other altcoins that rise in price very quickly and then fall back quickly, many coins dominate the market for a limited period of time but quickly become worthless again. All in all Bitcoin is much safer than altcoin coins or tokens, my advice would be to work with Bitcoin.
