Yup congrats to the people that made it in the money spots.  This one of the more difficult pools I've ever joined.  It isn't like football that if you watch the sport, you'll somewhat have an idea of the scores.  In F1 it's you think you have an idea, but then some things happen throwing you off by surprise.

But I had fun...  At the first half of the season.  Lol.  I was kinda not trying anymore at the second half.

I have sent everyone's payments. I tried to distribute the fee as equal as possible. If there is anyone who has problems with the payments please contact me and we solve it. I can confirm that I received my prize money this morning. Thanks a lot for the smooth handling @CLS63, @jeremypwr and Sportsbet.io and Steve of course. It's been great fun.

I never expected to come up as third place in this pool. At the start of the season I had basically no clue of Formula 1, but I ended up watching several races and getting a decent idea of the sport and the racers (that's what I think at least, haha).

It's indeed pretty fun sport to watch and if there will be another F1 pool in the future, I will be in for sure.

Well if Max does it again next year he inevitably makes this pool even more competitive as we are excluding the winner of the pole and the race most of the times we were able to get better points in the top 10 or the podium,if Max does not do well in the next season then it means it can be a diverse pool with somebody moving away while all others following,in this one 3,4,5 place were all divided by 0.5 points and this shows exactly how competitive this pool was.

I consider myself fortunate to have won back my participation fee, and with all the freebets, I can't have any complaints! Always +EV makes me a happy kid. Ironic I might not end up with prize spots in the sports I actually know well, but one should pay attention to how vd309 manages to excel at a seemingly random sport. Well done again, see you bastards next season

I tried to distribute it equally for everyone. Therefore the people who got big prizes paid less fee in percentages. For example the winner of the pool vd309 won 44.89 mbtc instead of 45 mbtc. The second ILuckyGuyI won 33.89 mbtc instead of 34 mbtc. I will be much more careful about fee in the prize table next season.

When it comes to next season I have talked to Steve already now. Most probably Sportsbet.io will continue to support our pool in the 2024 F1 season. Just as it is happening around the world the interest in F1 is increasing on Bitcointalk as well.

We have left a beautiful season behind. I would like to congratulate everyone who joined the F1 pool. The results haven't been updated yet but I have created a spreadsheet already now. The important thing here is whether your Bitcoin address is correct. Please everyone check your Bitcoin addresses. I wanted to make the payments right away. However most of the people who have won a prize haven't sent their addresses yet.

Congratulations to winner of first place and to everyone else who won something in this Formula 1 competition.
I ended up in 17th place and this is a big failure because I was one place below Trofo, but I was still better than his mafia partner in crime.
This was much harder than I expected and I need to change my tactics for next season.

Congratulations to all the winners😁 unfortunately I came in 12th place and I know nothing about F1 but I am happy with my first season and I learned a lot about F1 😁

I have won the yellow cap 1 or 2 times and the F1 prediction contest 1 time this season, so I feel i got something back, but most importantly a lot of excitement this season😁

3 years ago in the winter, they chose to remove 18% of the back drag for the cars and it was the main strength of Mercedes.
So they chose to nerf the Mercedes in the winter and Max won the 1st title right after it.


It may happen or not happen with a small change, like new tires etc etc .

I would also agree on changing the monopoly of Pirelli and add the competition back in Formula 1,I think the first rule to change is that every team would be able to choose the tires they like to choose from any provider who opts to become a provider to Formula 1 cars and trust me there should be a lot of them like Bridgestone,Michelin,Goodyear to name a few,if other brands want to jump in the wagon they should be welcome too,as easy as that,at least by doing so we will have a variable that can change a lot the competition in F1,even if no other things changes in here it is great to have at least this.

As long as the regulations don't change significantly I don't give it much chance to happen. Because Red Bull are currently too ahead of the other teams. Small regulation changes can't be a worrying obstacle for Red Bull at this level. There is a voting process by teams of course so I wonder what the majority of the teams would say about such big change.

Verstappen is currently one of the most talented drivers on the grid. When we combine a driver like this with the most powerful team this happens.    To be honest I don't feel like his domination will fade much until 2026 season.

I wasn't expecting to win the yellow cap in the last race in fact because Perez really scared me with his high effort. He was nearly getting to the podium with the help of Leclerc which could have risked my place in the leaderboard of the pool also. I understood Leclerc's action there of course. In the end he was trying to help his team take second place in the constructor championship.

But he just made the race more stressful for me.    By the way it was really unbelievable how Ferrari couldn't think of saying the same thing to Leclerc.

Ferrari couldn't understand what Sainz did in the Singapore GP also though, I forgot about it for a second. I see it clearer now.

I just read that RB only won $5m more than the cost cap (whic they broke previously).

I'm definitely going to put him into my early season pre outrights if there's such a thing. I know it's probably gonna be waste of money but the odds should be really high and you never know if nerfs happen, then Piastri gets OP from some change right?

I wasn't planning on joining this pool next season after my abysmal result.  But I think I may have found a way to beat the game and wanna try it.  So yeah...  If this pool is running again next year, I'll play with you guys again.  

I think it's less than three months to go before Bahrain GP..?  Tests on December and the cars are unveiled on Feb?  It's really not that long before next season.    Hopefully Ferrari and Merc catch up with Red Bull on car development.  I'm starting to hate Verstappen now.  Lolol.

IMO, it's not completely correct comparison. They're not forcing football clubs to play with Nike shoes, but they have to play with Nike ball because league have contract with them. When I think about multiple tyre supplier in F1, first thing that comes to my mind is 2005 Indinapolis GP when just 6 cars started because of tyre issues. I think it's very unlikely that F1 will have more than 1 tyre supplier anytime soon.
We have 3 months until new season and if you you already miss F1, think about positive side - you won't hear Dutch national anthem for 90 days .

Well, okay, I guess you're right, but you all have to use the same ball, and if you change it, everyong gets the same change. But shoes some brands never work for Asian feet, or European feet or whatever, and you can still customize your shoes, or use socks or whatever to make the shoe fit, whoever does it better gets advantage.

I have no idea what the point of arguing though sorry I made the comparison lol.

But yes please, no more anthem for 3 months or wrong flag memes (Russian flag supposedly always gets used).
