What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members.

And after a review then what? And in cases those who got a review suddenly turns rouge on casino users? So for me, I don't see a review of some sorts coming from the community. Everyone could rate any casino differently, so it is going to be subjective. Other members might give 5 star rating and then others might give 1 star rating. So there will be no consensus and it will just be another cause of debate here.

For sure maybe this has been thought upon my members before and didn't come into fruition.

I feel that is completely unnecessary op just like some of the posters above suggested because there are so many great ways to assess the credibility of a crypto gambling site in this forum already.

A simple search in this forum reveals literally everything that you would want to know about the casino that you are interested in.

The forum serve its purpose and its not just about reviews or ratings, its a whole lot discussion about a specific site so I see no reason as well for this. Also, there’s already a reputable site for reviews and ratings about gambling site so that could be your next option aside from this forum, but honestly you can see most of the top crypto site here in the forum and they also have discussion here.

Why should bitcointalk talk a responsibility for the casinos when they have their representative here, their ANN thread announcement, the forum here is created for bitcoin discussion, other boards attached were just to compliment the whole discussion, gambling companies come here only to advertise themselves using a signature campaign, which is not by force to join them, if you need to make review, try conduct a personal research on a casino and establish your findings, the forum cannot vouch on anyone in their place, you can as well join these casinos other discussion platforms but the forum cannot go above the main target which is bitcoin discussion.

I feel like this request is not necessary. I mean already we have a dedicated Gambling section for all the gambling sites. The gambling sites have their own threads here, and it is managed by one of the site’s officials also. So if you want to read any queries or review about the site, you can directly check there and how the site officials responded to the feedback or query can be also seen there. Regarding ratings, usually people rate low, if the site seems to be fishy. You can easily do that in Scam Accusations Board with solid proofs. So as of now, I don’t see any important necessity for the request made by OP.

Also, this forum is not limited to gambling related activities and investments. This forum speaks for crypto related investments and projects in general. I also agree with what other users have mentioned that there should be a separate individuals to do that perhaps hired by gambling sites. Also, such thing would be possible if gambling platforms are under one association, perhaps, in order to have only one criteria for judging. Otherwise, things will just be biased as you've mentioned.

If this forum will be utilized, opinions will just be the basis for ratings. Some are well constructed but unfortunately, some are just because they are promoting a specific gambling site, therefore you won't get an accurate answer unless you would be engaging to each of their suggested platforms and see it for yourself, how well that platform is doing.

If you stay in the forum for a while, you will somehow notice how there are more reputable casinos than others. Reputation here in the forum is earned. Besides the positive and negative feedback that a casino account here receives over time, there is also their official thread. There are threads that have lively and fun discussions but there are also others that are replete with complaints. Some complaints are even opened in scam accusations board.

As far as accusations are concerned, there are casinos that respond immediately while there are also others that choose to leave everything hanging and unresolved. Some casinos have more scam accusations than others.

I'm saying that this is probably enough and organic for users here to presume which one is worth depositing money to, which one is worth trusting and which one is worth avoiding.

But I think @OP will struggle to provide the update because even if we also help, @OP should put it on the start page to notify that the thread has been updated.
Maybe it's better this way and people who want to find the casino should look for it themselves because what others say may not be useful or good for that person.
And yes, I agree that in playing gambling, we better know the risks and be able to choose the casino we want and not based on other people's suggestions because other people's suggestions are only for our consideration in choosing the casino.
If we can do that, we can play gambling calmly and try to avoid big losses.

By bitcointalk means forum user is the one who will do the review and not the moderator. This way the forum is still in neutral since an administrator is not involved on the process of reviewing of all the casino. This is good to collect all the data from forum users towards the casino. We are all playing on different casino here and our experience is enough for a credible review rather than review site like trust pilot which is full of paid reviews.

The collection of review of forum members that meet the specific requirements is an accurate data to make a review on a casino genuinely.

I believe every project promoting their business on this forum has an ANN thread, not just Casino's. The ANN thread is open for every form of discussion, whether negative or positive; so far as the thread is not self-moderated, all can speak publicly, and the review will count and be seen by anyone who wants to know something about that project. Having a separate forum just for casino reviews is to some point good, but to me it will bring more work load to the forum and its moderator.

Nevertheless I was thinking if there could be a thread under the Economy board created separately for casinos review ( all casinos registered here) with star ratings whereby members could also take part in the ratings for casinos and their performance which would make them seat up doing things right. This would make all registered casinos and their various representatives onboard this platform to doing their work diligently in responding to customers and being active here.

I think this should be handled by a specialised legal entity. Every gambler rates a casino differently and their rating is subjective. One gambler can give a casino a high rating, another a low rating and they will both be right. I think that only the players together in one company can make a rating. And that company should have a common criterion for rating.

Is it really necessary needed? Since this is actually not under the scoop of the admins and this is obligation of people to know which of those casino are good and which is not. We can visit the threads of each casino here and for that we can already see if the casino is reputable or not since there are valid post coming from high ranking member or reputable member that can help us to decide to play or avoid those casino.

You can check the reviews in a forum to know whether a casino is legitimate or not. Some hints to look for are if they have an active thread, which means they are a popular casino as people love to discuss their experience and new promotions. Also, the trust rating is a testament to whether they are good or bad, so there's no need to create board members as we don't want to see biased opinions.

It's worth noting that there's no such thing as an unbiased opinion, considering we are just humans and gamble on our favorite gambling sites.

On these forums, you can read lots of feedback about bad gambling sites. That alone is already a hint that you should not gamble with gambling sites that have bad feedback. Most gambling sites in the forum are just trying to market their gambling site, and one of the best methods is through a signature campaign.

This sounds a great idea because it will be much more convenient if we will have this feature in forum, casino review and rating board for the newbies and those people who want to discover and try something new. However, this will take additional effort, maintenance, and of course, funding because the more board there is, the more posts the moderators will have to look at filter. In this case, they might hire additional manpower. Which actually sounds good because of employment, right, but the thing is it's an additional cost on their side.

We already have the right avenue such as gambling and gambling discussion for this which members can freely review and make ratings of a casino they have tried, so I guess this will suffice for now. After all, we shouldn't really be spoon feeding everyone, they have to keep looking and researching as well to explore more knowledge and new learnings. But this could be possible if the instances will permit to put up such for the benefit of many.

I can also add that sometimes, searching through this forum might not get one the desired results, most especially for those who don't know how to use the right keywords in their search, or searching an unpopular casino with not many reviews or no reviews at all yet from users.
In a situation like the above, users can always use search engines out side this forum for their research, not a must that every single thing must be done on this forum when it comes to gambling, this is absolutely not possible as far as i know.

I forgot to mention that. The search button in this forum isn't great or anything, but it does the job more often than not. Advanced search helps refine results to a greater extent when compared to simple search.

It's easier to search outside the forum through Google, YouTube, reddit, quora etc as you stated.

I guess that someone might have mentioned this before, but what if the casinos start buying fake positive reviews and five-star ratings?
I don't mind the forum implementing such forum thread with a review/rating system, but how can each and every review be verified as genuine and not created because of financial stimulation?
OP is talking about casinos being "registered" on the forum. There's no such thing as a casino being "registered" here. Every online casino owner is free to post an announcement thread in the Gambling forum. I don't think that there are any requirements about "registering" any gambling business on Bitcointalk.

I think this is not a priority need. Moreover, the gambling board has been open to accommodate reviews, test introductory questions which are sometimes "unfriendly".

As you know Bitcointalk has nothing to do with scam and it's mainly not for gambling discussion, so why should Bitcointalk need to give a review about the casino and ratings? there's a chance if the casino aware if there's an administrators playing in their casino to review their site, do you think the casino will scam the administrators? nope, they will try to become a honest and reputable casino.

Most of casinos turn become scam when they see a lucky gambler win a lot money, if it's small, they wouldn't scam.

Don't trouble yourself, we have positive and negative trust for this reason, since all gambling and casino projects have an announcement thread on this forum this is the best way to deal with them.

If any ANN thread gets locked because of unwanted discussion then they should be given negative trust too, it means they are up to no good, and they are trying to avoid some fact.  

This is why I don't gamble on any platform or websites that doesn't have an announcement thread opened on this forum. There is no what to know if the gambling platform have earned any reputation so far or they have ruined their rep themselves.
