We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think?

From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?

I doubt this will happened anytime soon. According to the data available from Bitcoin CME Futures, Institutional investors are the only ones pumping Bitcoin market price which means this current bull run is just a ticking time bomb for retail traders that will FOMO buying or riding the hype. The global economy is in its worst condition and people are having a hard time getting money for their daily necessities. Imo real altcoin season is when retail is the one who take charge of the pump and not institutional investors that will dump their bugs on retail's face once they start to enter the crypto market using fresh fiat.

It looks like many altcoins are already moving and are in significant gains this year after bitcoins' strong recovery in this year's first quarter. I also started to slowly accumulate some altcoins. Although what is happening this early strong crypto bounce does not guarantee a more upward movement in the next months. I still consider this year as a bear year or accumulating period as most call next year the highest probability of a bull run due to the bitcoin halving. But I can smell that this year will be better compared to last year.

Several major altcoin are having very good momentum for the upside and they seem to be mistaken.  Many people are expecting this to be the upcoming altcoin season but personally I don't think so yet, it is currently the process of restructuring and re-establishing the momentum of bitcoin.  Everything is focused on the movement of bitcoin, until the trend and sustainable faith in bitcoin is fully confirmed by the market, that will be the signal of altcoin season.  I guess the end of the year will be a good time

it seems arbitrum has shown the fact that altcoins season are there, even in the middle of bearish a coin could gain tremendous valuation and being released succesfully, it just matters of the quality of the project itself.
right now many projects are getting good funding again, it seems altcoin seasons are near.

Many things are still going to happen in the altcoin season that we claim to be. The market is going to be bullish soon so this will make so many of these altcoins to surge high with time because the market is a bit ranging now. We need to keep buying what we want to buy now that the price of some altcoins are still low.

I would say that it is not really that bad looking at all. I understand that institutional investors are heavy favorites here, but lets remember that the hype around bitcoin could grow exponentially big if you let the retail investors be the only ones left. So if it grows too big, then even if those companies and whales sell, it could turn to bizzare increase of the price when retail investors are putting in all the money they have.

I remember clearly even pandemic check us government gave out caused the price to go up on bull run. So, I can easily say that we are going to have a different situation in our hands when the time comes as well, just need to wait.

I agree with you, we seem to have entered the altcoins season, bitcoin has always been superior to altcoins, although it is still slow, but I believe altcoins will be able to catch up with bitcoin, so now is the right time to buy

I think altcoin season usually comes at the end of huge bull runs. We are not there yet, in my opinion altcoin season will come after the next big bull run, end of 2025 or 2026 (if we are still following the 4 year cycles from halving to halving).

I hope you’re right & it comes sooner but I think it will be a while yet.

IMO, it is not possible to conclude that we are nearing an Altcoin season based solely on the stable Bitcoin price and the conversion of traders to altcoins. This market so far, its volatility in the short term or long term is very clear, perhaps the current scale is still too small to talk about stability, and this can also be considered as the view of each of us is not the same. However, making investment decisions is complicated by many factors and it is impossible to draw conclusions based on just one chart and a few recent observations of the market. Investing in any business asset is risky and should be carefully considered.

It is possible that altcoins are currently being accumulated, seeing that bitcoin movements are more stable. But that's just speculation because no one knows when the altcoin season will come and we can only guess. But altcoin season may come after the middle of this year or even at the end of the year, waiting for bitcoin to increase to $40k or more. And now it seems like people have started researching to find hidden gems in altcoins and that search starts with coins that still have very low prices. So don't be surprised if the price of those coins can increase several times from their current price.

I do follow some altcoins and I have accumulated them a bit too, but I don't think the bull market is coming any time soon, although the market is also showing more signs of bearish price. reduce the previous gloom.
However, I think it is still necessary to prioritize btc more in the portfolio, because basically I expect a long-term development cycle rather than the current context, some altcoins have also increased in price many times but I think it is singular because of hype or short-term pumping.

I don't quite agree that many altcoins are rising and showing good growth. Altcoins are rather recovering, they only show growth for those who bought at the bottom. What about those who bought last year or in 2021? There is no growth for them, as the assets have not recovered even 50% of the values they had during the bull run. Still, most investors in the crypto market are still at an unrealized loss.

While I acknowledge that in this crypto space we can't know it all, especially when it comes to price speculation and movements, my past observations put altcoin season after Bitcoin has had its rally. It's at this point that some investors who will still be basking in their tremendous success following Bitcoin price will cash out there and then splash their profits on their favourite altcoins. However, I didn't witness such after Bitcoin had its ATH in 2021. I was expecting altcoins to rally in 2022 but that never happened. That was why I said earlier that crypto was full of surprises. On the normal, altcoin season should be in 2025; not now. But then, I can't be vehement to say things can't change.

I can't really know when we will, but it is very important to know the difference between entering the altcoin season and what we have in our hands. Most of the time it is not going to be an easy decision to make a profit if you end up buying something terrible, I have seen people who invested a lot of money during the bear period, when everything was low, and then hoped they would make a profit during the bull period and instead they lost all their money.

This is why I highly suggest that if you really want to make a profit, then do that with good coins and not potentially failing ones. Those ones will end up taking away all of your money and leave nothing to you, even if they do not scam, they can crash hard.

Yes, the whole market has started recovering value with Bitcoin crossing $30k, and it might be the signal of an upcoming bull run, we have seen that Bitcoin has been pretty stable from the last month after it reached $28k at the end of March, but it has finally moved up a little, so that's surely a positive and we will see a lot of mixed emotions pouring in shortly.

About altcoin accumulation, I believe buyers must have already accumulated enough during Bitcoin's drop back to $19k and then getting back to $28k last month, and those who bought at the bottom are already enjoying the price movements.
