We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think?

I don't quite agree that many altcoins are rising and showing good growth. Altcoins are rather recovering, they only show growth for those who bought at the bottom. What about those who bought last year or in 2021? There is no growth for them, as the assets have not recovered even 50% of the values they had during the bull run. Still, most investors in the crypto market are still at an unrealized loss.

Yes, the whole market has started recovering value with Bitcoin crossing $30k, and it might be the signal of an upcoming bull run, we have seen that Bitcoin has been pretty stable from the last month after it reached $28k at the end of March, but it has finally moved up a little, so that's surely a positive and we will see a lot of mixed emotions pouring in shortly.

I have the same view. In the previous cycle, Bitcoin made nice correction before it went down again, and now we are probably witnessing the same situation. I think 34k could be the last target before a move down. Regarding altcoins, if you look at most of them now, they are less in the BTC value than their values during the period you talked about, so BTC was better to hold over those periods. However, the BTC value of ETH is the measurement for me in cases like this, and it has just started to move now, so we might watch a short altcoins season soon.
Personally, I prefer to hold Bitcoin even if it's supposed to move down, because the rise happens fast like what happened during the past months, so we could miss a chance. The hardest thing in this market is to try to time it, because you would mostly fail.

if we look at history, the altcoin season could happen next year, because we know that the bitcoin halving will happen next year,
therefore the altcoin season is really very close, I'm sure the whales have also accumulated several altcoins such as XLM, XRP and ETH.

When the bull season is coming, people are buying more altcoins which is why we could see that prices went high due to increase demand. It will continue until the bull season and so developers trying to catch this event and launch their useless projects. Now, if we are too careless in choosing altcoins, you will be right and the chances of losing are high.
Research is really a weapon to avoid this thing happen to us and most of all, we don't have to rush in making a decision unless we are investing old coins.

seems like everytime bitcoin has the slightest break out and recovery, altcoins are reacting rather well to it, mainly most of them are getting really good increase even more than 100% which is honestly great, if this keeps up and the bitcoin got massive increase, i'm sure altcoin season definitely gonna be right in front of us. I still honestly can't really grasp the reason why so many altcoins and even bitcoin is acting up this way right now but it seems the overall condition of the current economy really benefits cryptocurrencies in general, this could be a momentum for accumulation since it seems the market of cryptocurrency is just getting brighter and brighter. I'd say, altcoin season is indeed around the corner and it's already there for some of the coin prominently second layer that got all the attention nowadays.

The market has been going up for a long time almost without stopping. $34,000 is a good price, but there is a possibility to see this mark not as fast as we would like. Still, the market cannot recover indefinitely, especially with the fact that the FUD around cryptocurrencies, regulation and exchanges is not completely over. There are still various rumors in the market about Binance and the arrest of CZ, all of which could trigger a big and sharp dump.

There are many speculations that there could be a mini bull run un 2024 and the real bull run will come on 2025. But personally I believe that the bulls will come after the bitcoin halving so probably around 2025. Altcoin will mostly come after bitcoin in my opinion. One thing is for sure, We are nearing the market scenario that we want and I hope that most of you guys collected altcoins or bitcoin when the market dipped so hard.

That is expected because aside from the chances of having more profits by buying large amounts and different coins, there is always that same chance where you will have losses in the process because the risks aren't eliminated or somehow minimized, it's still the same that is why we should buy what we think will give us profits than losses. And I agree with you, there's no need to buy a lot of altcoins, a few of them will be enough but make sure that you're only buying altcoins with good potentials or among the leading altcoins.

Totally agreed. I am very excited for the next altcoins season, trying to top up my portfolio since last week.Doing lots of researchs about various altcoins and picking up the best ones to buy for now.Hope we will make lots of profits this time around.

what is happening right now i think is like a bull run ahead of halving. but there could also be another dip coming before the altcoin season. 

the BTC dominance usually rises high above 50% before the altcoin season so i'm not expecting much to happen this mid-2023. it is however a good time to buy more of those altcoins that you think could pump to 100X. huge profit to come when you pick the right ones.

I think altcoins fluctuate with bitcoin and when the price of bitcoin goes up so do altcoins. When the Bitcoin market goes down, traders turn to Altcoins because they think that if they invest in Altcoins, then when Bitcoin goes up, AltCoins will increase. With this thought they invest but I think it is best to invest in bitcoins rather than investing in altcoins.

We're almost halfway through the year and Btc might go beyond 30k or 40k maximum as well as some top alts in the market.
Speaking of picking the right alts IMO, those are the alts in the top 20, however it won't bring you 100x profit though. The type of altcoin that gives you that much may not really feel like it's the right alts for you coz it bears too much risk of losing your money. You'd be lucky if it happens that you have invested into this kind of alt.

have been waiting for this for long mate , as I have been holding couple of good altcoins and I want to have this chance of earning from my hard investments , it has been couple of years now that i am holding so altcoin season would be a big help but the thing is , Bitcoin does not even earning high for altcoin to do their job.
we already saw that happens , and bitcoin need to go first before alts.

Most of Altcoin are looking so bullish. Btc breakout proved much positive for altcoins. new coins pumped well while other big coins like matic, ethereum, ADA and Bnb also rised 10%. I agree with your point that its time for altcoins to show some moments. Many bad news arrived before and Btc still survived. Shinghai Upgrade proved positive for Both ethereum and Btc which pushed up btc to 30k. Fear of investing is over and now its time for major coins to make some history like 2021.

I think there is this understanding that if you make a lot of profit from the top names, you start to use your profits to invest into riskier stuff. So if you made x10 from your initial investment, then putting just a small amount, something like 100 bucks, into multiple stuff could get you a lot better returns as well.

Most of them will go to zero or just crash, but even if a few of them hit the mark and go super high, that would double your initial investment right away. However, since this is super risky, you do not start with that, you start investing into bitcoin and ethereum and so forth, stuff that are trustworthy so you will do better with them, but then after that is done you start to invest into other stuff with that profit.

Possible we are now in altseason if we compare to previous bullmarket some memes are pumping hard in altseason and I currently saw this  same situation in previous altseason, liquidity pouring into so many dex specially to Arbitrum chain looks like we are now starting to move up slowly for the biggest bullrun in history.
