Still we know that gambling is a totally luck based platform if you are lucky you can win from gambling platform. But in most cases, chances of losing in gambling will be high. I've made a previous comment regarding this topic and I'm surprised this is still going on, perhaps because to some people the difference between gambling and trading isn't as apparent as they wanted it to be. Regardless, these two can't be looped in the same boat since trading is centered around yielding profits by studying the market, gathering disciplines and knowledge bases that will help you get there, as well as the fact that there's just a higher margin of profit for trading than gambling. Gambling on the other hand takes no skill, is centered around entertainment and shouldn't be used as a substitute for ways to get a profit, and most of all is a very risky ordeal, with potentials of you losing more money than you had when you first gambled being higher.

I am not a gambling addict but some friends are making me look like one because I gamble less and they gamble more, it all started when we got into an argument that investing in Bitcoin is not the same as gambling, my friends who are gamblers, not full-time but more of a gambler than I am, are claiming that there is no difference between investing and gambling, they said if all you doing is investing money on Bitcoin you are no different to those who are gambling in a casino.

Since it is own perception, you don't need to make it too serious. If they believe that investing in Bitcoin is like gambling, let them trust their assumptions. You just need to tell them the truth once. If they refuse it, then you don't need to argue about it anymore. It is difficult to argue with people who are not open-minded, you will get nothing.

Well, I think trading lose you something and that's your mental health at some point, it's not that really good if you're in there all day especially for a day trader unless you're using some bots. But we always recommend using bitcoins as an investment tool and not for gambling because it is more profitable if those people can keep their bitcoins properly and sell them at peak prices. There might be a reason why it is hard to quit.  I do not think that it is the fun that make it hard for a gambler to quit but rather the desire to get a huge win.  So he chases winnings and uses the whole of his bankroll to achieve it.  Sadly more often than not player got busted than hitting that huge win.  So better to observe the situation carefully and have a logical thinking if it is worth continuing or quitting and returning back after some day.
