How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time

Quite a lot have happened in the crypto investment market with the long run of a bear market in 2022, as a result of the various market crisis ranging from ftx bankruptcy and Luna crash that affect the market for a long time, before the present recovery, many crypto analysts such as myself are confused as for what the level of confidence of investors towards altcoins in this period. Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?

The altcoin market has been like that for years, unchanged, and I have never lost hope in it. Invest with the motto, bitcoin in the long term and altcoins in the short term. I mean, never hold altcoins for long, and don't trust any project, the altcoin market is more speculative, gambling than technological, as many think. And investing in alts needs the right timing, not always as good as bitcoin. I only invest in them during the bull season and focus only on the new projects and stay away from the old projects that have plummeted during the bear season.

Investing in Altcoin now is too risky my confidence is not 100% specially for long term. Instead of investing to altcoin for a long term i would rather divert my investments to bitcoin, ether, bnb. We do not know when the altcoins would recover, all are falling at this time some of my holdings but i do not know until when I can hold on to. I hope that it would still recover this year so that i could take profit before i divert my holdings to other investment.

I agree with you completely, at the moment it makes no sense to invest and buy altcoins for long-term, since the market is not stable, and the crypt is not in the best position now, here is to buy bitcoin and ethereum, this is relevant for this coin, since on the growth of these cryptocurrencies can make good money

it depends on the altcoin, if it's a popular altcoin like bnb, matic, phantom, and any other altcoin that has clear use cases, I'm pretty sure it would be great to hold for a long time. but for a new altcoin or meme token which only relies on pump and hype, I'm not too sure that it's a good token to hold for a long time.

I'm fully confident with only BTC, also with a several altcoins as like ETH,BNB & MATIC, those are potential even in the long term investment but i would not like to recommend to hold any altcoins. And i think new entered altcoins are comparatively high risky than old altcoins.

Now is still a good time to buy altcoins but even better if you can buy bitcoins because there are predictions of a very high price increase.

It is but not all altcoins are worth buying, but we can't ignore what these altcoins are bringing into the ecosystem,
I have a lot of altcoins in my portfolio and I have confidence that these altcoins are worth my portfolio because I did research on what they are bringing to the community, they are not pump-and-dump coins and it is not shilled by their developers to get the attention of the investing community.
The rule of thumb is always what these coins bring positively to the Crypto community.

That's why before buying an altcoin, you should choose one and analyze them one by one to find altcoins that can increase in the altcoin season. I also own a few altcoins and await another hike in the altcoin season. Research to find altcoins is highly recommended because it can prevent us from buying altcoins or even tokens that don't have the potential to go up. And don't just buy altcoins from other people's suggestions because that doesn't guarantee the coin will go up.

at least in the short term for altcoins now it still produces for me, it's enough to help the development of my assets. Those who are thinking about long term profit here, still haven't found a project as good as BNB or ETH in long term investment in recent years, but for small projects as long as you know when to get out of investment, it's enough to make some savvy people satisfied with the return on their investment .

I think it depends on the kind of altcoins that we invest for example we invest in ethereum we can surely get a profit on it because it is legit and it is proven and tested all we need to do is to hold it and be patience, while if we invest in new altcoins it is possible that we will loss because not all new altcoins last long specially in bear season most of them end up to nothing and we will loss, so for me it is still depend on the kind of altcoins.

Despite all bad things happened, market is still recovering from all that horrible market crash due to such bad players in the industry and Altcoins is making a good position towards slow recovery. Bitcoin as well is making a good stand from all future to happen like recession, inflations and any negative sentiments that will effect the crypto market. In current situations, altcoins is still promise a good comeback especially MEME coins are surging like crazy.

I am holding Layer1 and Layer2 altcoins for the next bull run. Also, try to hold most ecosystem projects like Arbitrum and Optimism.

I have invested in many altcoin projects. Some of them have shown a positive direction. I think this year is the year of altcoins. It is my personal view that you will earn a lot by investing in altcoins

The reason I trust Ethereum is because new projects and developers prefer Ethereum. Other than that, I buy and sell many altcoins in day trading, but I don't see altcoins as long-term investment tools. Anyway, if we look at general statistics and historical data, we see that there are extremely high risks to investing in altcoins for the long term. So, we don't have much reason to trust Altcoins.

I dont think so and to me, the altcoin is nothing but a gamble and should be treated as such, and one shouldn't have a long-term perspective on altcoin and the highest you can do with altcoin is to use it for speculations, I have not paid any close attention to altcoin market lately because I have an indept know about their potential and risk associated with altcoins.

For a long while, I haven't seen any altcoin that has shown any consistency in it growth just as we ve seen with bitcoin,  and because pf the centralized characteristic, the altcoin has become so uncertain because many of them end up pulling an exit on the investors or having their liquidity remove by it, providers.

Yes, we do have some confidence in altcoins as well, since there are some amazing altcoins out there that you can even buy and hold for the long term, like ETH, which is the second-best cryptocurrency in the world right now after Bitcoin. I will have a lot of confidence if I buy and hold some ETH alongside Bitcoin for the upcoming bull run.

I know that most altcoins that are released these days are not worth the time and the investment made on them, except for a few which might turn out to be good and provide you some profits for the short term, but there are old altcoins that can be considered good for diversification.

the coins you mentioned are very worthy of investing in the long term, ethereum bnb these two coins I still hold until now I'm sure these two coins will be great assets for my future later I'm sure in the future the world of crypto will get better and for those of you who don't have digital assets later you just become a spectator.

I currently only save and trust one altcoin, namely ethereum because ethereum is arguably the bitcoin killer and my level of trust in ETH is maybe 80%, maybe I think eth will grow 10x in the next year, according to my analysis, there are probably two good assets for investment and in sleep at the moment BTC and ETH I think maybe I will split BTC 60% ETH 40% of my total investment assets this is not investment advice this is just based on my analysis

Yeah ethereum is good coin to hold but then we can't really scale through its networks due to its high gas fees and this is happening long before the current Bitcoin network congestion and feel like so I wonder why you will refer to ethereum as the Bitcoin killer.

I agree with you on your choice of altcoin but then if you talk about scalability in the network then ethereum is far from being the ultimate alternative coin

Not all altcoins, though.
While some altcoins with a solid track record can still be trusted, others shouldn't because some investors are simply waiting for a slight price recovery to pull out of the project.
Because the bear market is not expected to end any time soon, I am currently confused and have decided to stop investing until I see the direction of the market in a few months.

I am with you on this, if people want to trade altcoins then that is acceptable as most trades will only last a few hours, and as such the risk at which they are exposed is not that big if they are using a stop loss, but those that decide to become investors and hold altcoins for the long term are taking a massive risk, because as we know the survival rate of altcoins is abysmal and a coin that seemed to be incredibly solid could simply disappear in a matter of days.

As an investor seeing the tragedy that has happened across the cryptocurrency space for the past few year is quite thoughtful and which I will encourage not to put a total reliability on altcoin or even storing their assets on centralized exchange that they do not have control over their assets. Involving oneself is always risky because there's no assurance of what may happen next that's you have to accept to risk involve as well as investing what you can be able lose.

Just like before, you need to do your own research first before you can gain some confidence regarding certain altcoins because there will be no other thing to consider other that. When you talk about investment in altcoins, you are taking more risks than investing in bitcoins especially when you choose those altcoins that are only new to the market because they might not gonna become what you think in the future because if the Devs are only talk, they don't do anything about developments and updates and also to consider innovating their project to compete with their competitors, you will end up only investing in a shit coin which will not gonna improve and rise its price in the future.
