We speculate all the time but my best guess is 6 months after halving, we can experience some small bull runs. This is why real hodlers don't care that much on what's currently happening on bitcoin just like me since I have a high hope that late 2024 to 2025 will be the months of harvest. Holding altcoins at this time is very important because the market can decide to move to any direction that is why we need to get prepared for the bull thay is coming to us. As long as greed exists than alts will be just fine in the next bullrun.  Inherently good or bad people latch onto alts thinking they are going to ride it up like the bitcoiners did back in 2010.  Only to be mostly disappointed if they end up holding the bag all the way up then all the way down. Of course. I believe Altcoins provide profits in the future. My confidence has reached 90%. Indeed, at this time prices have become very low. I guess the small bull runs that you mentioned just gonna occur at the rumours of halving instead of at the halving event itself.
pretty much the trend about halving is that the rumours influence the market better than when the event actually occurring.
it can be observed from past halving, though the bullrun isn't that significant either so I guess it's right just calling these small series of bullruns that gonna be occurring.
after all, the real bullrun is still nowhere to be seen, right now the condition is really uncertain.

The problem is altcoin keeps losing once bitcoin was regaining its momentum. Don't you watch the market how stable bitcoin is right now compared with altcoin? bitcoin up altcoin down, bitcoin stable altcoin down, bitcoin down altcoin down.
Altcoin is always going down. Im not so confident to hold altcoin at this moment.

No matter what the condition of the market is, scammers are always going to try their luck, and most of the time, they succeed in luring more and more newbie investors into their projects and then they ask those new members to bring more members and that is how they create the network of hype in the community and we all know how excited we get when we hear about multiple x profits.

And when it comes to being careful, these are the same people who usually invest in meme coins only with the hope that they might get more than 2x from the point they've bought, and that only happens if a meme coin has gained enough community hype before getting launched and after the launch as well.
