I don't blame some elderly people that lost money in stocks. They had to rely solely on brokers and financial advisers for investment advice. There was no internet when some of them invested in stocks, so they didn't have access to the kind of information the present generation have. Some of my teachers have died due to wrong financial advice that made them broke.

I would say "hate" is a strong word considering what they do, but I agree that they are definitely shady and doing something terrible. Like regardless if you win or lose money, they win money and that is why they keep churning away their profit machine. It is true that stock investment is centralized, but it has existed for hundreds of years, it cannot be said to be a shady business. I know we are on the bitcoin forum, bitcoin has the upper hand here, but there is no need to vilify other financial markets because they exist before us and are many times bigger than us. Nothing because the scenario you paint is simply false. No one guarantees you anything when investing in the stock market, today with the information that is available you are responsible for your decision making.

If someone has lost all his money in the stock market is that he is quite stupid to be honest, because it means that he has not followed the basic principles of investment, such as diversifying, and has bet everything on a fancy low cap company like the one who bets everything on a fancy shitcoin.

You don't lose anything unless you sell your losing positions. Back in 2020, 2018 and 2008 the markets crashed too and it always recovered. This time isn't going to be an exception. If you haven't sold when you were in the green then it doesn't make any sense to sell now while you are in the red. As of now, I have some losing positions and I have some winning positions. this is different, what you said is true that in Crypto you can get big profits in a short time and can even change someone's life but so are the risks that will be faced, it's quite worth it.
