Na just say people never get orientation on how to post here. The multiple threads wahala dun stop and na as we put mount for the matter, we fit handle the wahala wey dey so no need to dey shift the problem go one side.

We no get active topics every day so you no go talk say you no fit navigate go to important topics wey matter to you. Belike you no know theymos him dey hardly trust people or put new members into the moderator cartel. See as some popular names dun show working yet they're not added to staffs of the forum. Theymos go tell you to report that he has active moderators ready to help out. Na when the spam come over too much him go consider adding a moderators from the board and I doubt it'll be any popular name. They guy dey do things in a mysterious way (kind of impressive to me).

This one go make sense because for we to get moderator, e go make our local board dey coordinated and organized and e go make our brodas and sistas for here dey do well here. I know say once we get moderator, shitpost and spam go reduce well that one go make everybody for our local board dey up and doing to avoid unnecessary spamming or otherwise.
I just think say the moderator application go dey better for now compared to the childboard because if we get moderator now the board go clean and e go make members measure up to dey do the right thing and shitposting go reduce.

E get when this matter been raise but we been no know the importance of it. Now we don get our board I think we need Off topic and Politics and Society. These two children board dey important because due to how our government dey treat us, an average Nigerian love to talk about politics and government.

We need politics and society board. If off-topic is included as another board, I will thank theymos for that.

Please edit this thread topic to the boards we need, both P&S and off-topic. We supposed to have board for politics and society. And if off-topic board is included like I once said, it would be good.

I think the local board needs to grow, having child boards means it is growing. As to what I have noticed, even if there is no off-topic board, we need politics and society board. But theymos suppose to include off-topic board too.

Sure the local board need to grow but before we go carry any request go worry theymos we go need give am better reason not to decline our request.. okay you dun being topics wey supposed dey other subboard and now how many bitcoin related discussion wey we get to stay for the main board and keep it active? Also when we go drop this request (which will be very soon) we don't have to make it in English language (just an opinion). The names of the baord can be in local dialect go make sense. Even some other locals board wey dey talk English get their boards in their local language although others have in English as well. 

Also for the offtopic matter, naming that board offtopic will reduced the engagement on those board because we all know off topic discussion doesn't count for campaign. And while topics that sounds offtopic to others  isn't to Nigerians so maybe something like "Others discussion" for just make sense for that particular boards so e fit contain other discussion and still dey attract posters. Make we no begin dey do too strict for this baord and forcing everyone to discuss Bitcoin when nothing much about Bitcoin dey happen for the country abi na to dey discuss Blord trying to buy Woodberry BTC from the FBI wey we go begin dey discuss for Bitcoin discussion?.

Both English and Pidgin would be better, it would make sense if the child boards are like that, we have many local dialects in Nigeria and this will only lead to low engagement in the discussion. We all understand English and Pidgin and this would be better to be the languages on child boards. As usual.

I have tried enough not to be strict. Maybe you think that I am strict, but I am not. I am only suggesting what that is best. Proposing child boards does not mean someone is strict. And that does not mean other people can not still go against it which is normal. It would happen until nearly all of us accept the proposal and know that theymos would likely accept the proposal.

Theymos will accept the proposal when the topics of the board we need is more discussed about on the first page of the main (loca) board. Like if the topics are half of the discussion on the main board. Politics and society is almost like that.

For politics and society board, there is high chance that theymos will accept that. Although I do not know of off-topic board (but which he supposed to accept too), which we need to have. Many local boards that are not active up to us have several child boards. Although, we can understand the reason, because our board is still new. But there should be development in the process as we have more posts on the single board. I do not consider the approach as strictness, but a way to further make the local board better.

On the image I posted above in my previous post on this thread to this one, if I should only leave the threads that are related to bitcoin, less than 5 would likely remain, but I left 19/20 topics. The topics I left are those for bitcoin, altcoins, cyber security, banks and economic related, exchanges and maybe some others. I only strictly pointed to politics & society and off-topics.

We can give suggestions about the naming, even we may decide to name politics and society another name but similar. Other discussions is similar to off-topic. Because other board name theirs off-topic does not mean we should name ours off-topic. Other discussion is very similar and we can name it that as well.

I am looking forward to the day we are going to have politics and society board. Having it does not mean it is off-topic. Having it does not also means that it would not count under some campaigns. But we should not only because of campaign think we should not structure the local board the way it should be.

Abeg make una try ask am for di subbords because weti we dey see for local board now e no make sense. When we were seeking for local board? Request for Nigeria local board

It was later we realized that we can not be given child boards. Even when this forum started, I think it started with just a single board (I think). Later, there were progress and more posts and more sections and boards were created.

It was good how theymos made it a single board which we have predicted before theymos created the local board.

The child boards listed are altcoins, marketplace and off-topic.

We hardly discuss about what are related to altcoins and marketplace. So those can not be given us.

The one we can likely have now is politics and society or anything we call it, if related topics is almost or more than half of the topics on the first page on Nigeria local board. Off-topic will later become achievable, but it would be good if theymos can make off-topic board possible for now. We can name it other discussion from CryptopreneurBrainboss suggestion.

To get other discussion board is not likely this time around, but politics and society board is highly likely. We should think that to become a city is not in a single day. If not now, the time is still coming for off-topic (other discussion) board. Only a matter of time.

But the time to create politics and society board is getting closer.
