From influencers and vloggers who somehow personally try to recommend such casinos. I even saw 1xbet being flashed on their videos. Yes so many of them advertised on youtube videos but not actually using the Google ads.

Quite alarming that casinos are doing this even to channels that are not really related to cryptocurrency. They are reaching out to those inexperienced users in crypto and these casinos could potentially scam.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

I didn't experience it or maybe because I wasn't aware of it, usually more gambling ads appear when accessing a blog instead of YouTube, and maybe because of that it depends on what you watch, it seems because many gambling sites are blocked by my ISP so that too being the influence why I don't often see gambling adverts pop up.
When accessing a social media application that provides features to earn income, gambling advertisements actually appear very much and that is with a tagline that will be able to deceive many people who do not understand the many types of gambling because advertisements are often displayed as a way to increase money even though it is the opposite because gambling is not an activity to earn income unfortunately it appears uncontrolled until recently.

I always watch gambling streams like big wins and slot machines I want to see that some people have made it big in private mode or incognito mode and as such Youtube does not provide me such ads,only ads on things I use to watch in non private windows which is saved in my history.So I am assuming that the people who get gambling ads most likely are watching a lot of gambling related content in Youtube as Youtube usually show us in ads the content of what we watch most of the time.I don't see any increased activity in gambling ads.

I dont notice this as I am using adblocker on my PC but on our TV I haven't seen this ad, only those local commercials that we are getting since that account that was logged in to our TV is for kids so I think this is the case but that is a problem if it will appear in underage like for the kids. Still, for now, I haven't noticed it, what is better is to block the ads on Youtube or buy a premium one if you are bothered by it, as I am also time to time subscribing to it as I feel annoyed sometimes with the ads in YT that are not good for the child.

I can't do without watching Youtube videos everyday, I am a crypto trader and also a long term investor, not only with Bitcoin but other coins too, watching Youtube Videos is one of the ways that I use to stay updated, the fact is I don't normally come across gambling ads on the platform like you used to, yours is like time to time and mine is once in a while, maybe it's because I am always on my mobile phone more than my PC? Or ads display has something to do with your search history...

Are you normally into gambling search using search engine? If yes that might be the reason there.

The last part of your sentence, that's because of that. Advertisements on Youtube have some kind of a system for your most-watched clips. In my case, I mostly see advertisements that have something to do with food and online shopping because that is what I mostly watch. Then, some about sports drinks and foods again.  I think it's a combination of watching sports a lot of times and then food vloggers.

In your case, you must be watching a lot of gambling streamers so get used to watching more ads that have something to do with betting. Casino platforms, online gambling sites, and maybe even resorts with casinos in them.
If you want to decrease this, maybe you could check your watched history or don't subscribe or follow those who have something to do with betting. I have not tried that yet though. Maybe it will work.

There are different types of ads.

there are the ones that are monetised by Google. But can add blockers on your phone or computer block that type of ads. I do not think so. They are not add when browser but when watching YouTube videos.

Another one is the ones that some YouTube content creators included into their videos, no ad blocker can edit a video or fast forward the part of the video that contains the ad.

If you are seeing many more gambling ads than usual, maybe it means that gambling sites are trying to increase their customer base by investing more in sponsored advertising that is usually targeted to specific criterias to meet specific people, and you likely fall into that category. I worry about how this can really affect people who are not of the age to gamble, it can lure them to it. I will also be careful of the advertisement I follow because even scammers can run this adverts too to get people to steal from.

Ads is one of the common ways people use to make advertisement for their services or company and this is not only attributed to gambling organizations alone, many reputable institutions and companies make use of google ads to advertise their brands, website, products or services, but this can be assumed to be more frequent on the gambling platforms whereby they often advertise themselves on YouTube ads, google ads and in some ppp up messages received via online websites through the network being used while connected to the internet.

I noticed the same over the last few weeks and thought that it was due to me being categorized differently by the YouTube algorithm. Lately I watched more gambling related videos, like top slot winners by streamers and the laat big poker tournaments. Also because of the death of Doyle Brunson there were a lot of new best of videos from his long poker career. After watching all these videos I see now 1 out 3 ads are for gambling. But if other people here have similar experiences than it might be that the gambling industry is focusing more on video advertising on YouTube than on other social media. It's not a bad sign to see the gambling companies be more profitable and have more money for advertising. The only issue I have is if the companies take away the money from bonuses and focus more on new customers and not the existing ones.

That's most likely due to Youtube's algorithm that organizes relevant ads according to the videos you've watched before and because of that you can get a lot of gambling ads on your videos. In my opinion, as long as these ads are not annoying, you can skip these ads and continue watching your videos. However, I personally prefer to install an ad blocker to be able to block ads from my browser. Even though some people say that installing an ad blocker will interfere with performance and user privacy, so far I haven't found any problems with it.

Google ads will retrieve cache data from the browser or even application on your phone, as well as from the video history from youtube. If in your country gambling ads are not blocked by any provider, then you can find them after you do the online activities that related with any gambling. Perhaps it's based on what you search on Google as well. I have my gambling account separated from my personal account, and I never had even one single gambling ad on my personal account - not even once. Whereas on my gambling account, I have loads of different websites and casinos being posted on my Google ads and on Youtube whenever I try to watch something and forget to switch accounts.

You do know that Google is good at snooping whatever search you made from any of your devices using a Google account and push you ads based off of those searches, right? So yeah, that could explain why you see a surge of Youtube gambling ads - because the account you're using to watch Youtube has been sending gambling-related queries to their search engine or whatever website you visit.

I haven't noticed that with YouTube ads but the growth of gambling ads on content creators is increasing. Like when you're watching videos on other social media like Facebook of some content creators, they would insert their own made advertisements of a certain gambling site between their videos. There's no skip ads when it's really in their video, the only thing you can do is to skip the time or fast-forward it. I think it's more effective for gambling sites to partner with some content creators to insert ads on their videos rather than paying the apps for an ads where people can skip it. YouTube is suggesting what is your interest and if they find out that you are watching gambling, then they are offering such things more. I don't encounter such a scenario but yes, I've noticed as well that more gambling ads come out and this is something to say that gambling developers have found YouTube as another tool to spread information and awareness to the community knowing that a lot of people are on this platform. From now on, seeing them poping out as an ads become normal and that creates more traffic, and probably it was very effective based on their assessments.

I think it depends on the owner of the videos because whenever I watch youtube short videos or long videos, I don't find such ads and I only got some food ads instead and some online store ads. they also have your histories and they can get some info from there to track your activities and show you some related stuff on what you are mostly doing every day. I know they are doing these kinds of stuffs nowadays because when I tried to purchased some Nike shoes online, the next time I see, some shoes companies are shown in the ads of the social media that I'm browsing. they know now what kinds of stuffs are you looking in the internet.

No, I'm not getting any on the videos I watched on my active Youtube account linked to my Gmail, my preferences are all about music, movies, and current events so these preferences are what you might be called PG, I never search or watch anything related to gambling on the account and browser which I normally use, but if I want to watch gambling videos I use my other email accounts and my other browsers.

If there are many gambling ads that's because there are many streamers who are actively promoting their streams and many casinos are now active on social media platforms like TikTok, Youtube, and Facebook so it's not really Youtube.

No, it's just the regular local ads that I'm seeing and nothing about gambling. Perhaps you are watching a lot of gambling related videos?
