Now that i think about it there has been a rather large raise in gambling ads. Not only on YouTube tho, on Facebook and other platforms aswell. Not really sure if they are allowed however, more likely that a group/person has built a good spoofing method that allows them to trick the system. The ROi is great on these ads/offers, just running them has usually been a pain.
Ads like this will be very normal because they are aware that when marketing through adds then with good images and ad visualisation then at least they can bring some new gamblers from it.
Social media today is always a part of people especially with algorithms that sometimes when we search for gambling once then there will be a lot of adverts appearing about things like this.
Regardless of whether it is good or not for the platform they are advertising it actually depends on us in sorting especially when looking at new sites so this becomes a good marketing technique for them but of course in the selection of sites we ourselves must have our own reference.

yeah very much so. The other side of this Ad surge is actually AI. Artificial Intelligence makes generating new ads so much easier and it makes it also way easier to go through all the stats. Theres quite a few services already for this.

~snip~
You do just only need the common sense which you do really have, of course you cant just simply click up on randomly just because it did make some pop out but eventually these are normal things that do exist considering
that these places that we've been using are being also used by tons of people or users on which it would really be just that right that they would really be making use of it as a medium for marketing. We do have different
automation now when it comes to leads and niches on which on the time that a certain user do click up on something then it would be understandable that they do already know on what you are interested into
and this is why we do see up these recommendations.

All the things been shown around though or online isnt always legit and this is why it would really be just that right that you should really be making in depth more research when it comes to things
because if you dont really be able to do so then you might be ending up on a disaster.
But in the end, some people keep clicking randomly just because they see an ad that catches their eye. This makes them scammed, while other people who already understand how advertising works can still avoid it.

Yes, only research can help us avoid irresponsible advertisements for people who have clicked on their advertisements. And we can also take good care of ourselves by doing this research because, in the end, we will know that frequently appearing advertisements are fraudulent. It just requires the desire to find out more details about the ad from other sources so the ad won't fool them.

~snip~
Still part of a responsible parenting is to know what the kids are doing online, like you mentioned those young minds always wanted to explore and if they manage to click one of those sites that being advertised the chance that curiosity might trigger them to play after being allured by the site promotions or offers.

We can't really control those ads as they are paying a huge amount for allowing them to promote using the platform. We should be responsible for how we react and how we keep an eye, not just with our visits but most with our kids' activities.
We really can't control the ads because the ads will keep popping up, but we can control how far the ads will be displayed on our homepage so we won't be affected by these ads. We can also do the same on our children's devices so that they will not see ads that are not suitable for their age either.

And if we've done some filtering on their devices, we should keep an eye on how they get along because most kids can easily get swayed by the wrong company. Sometimes, their friends will invite them to do something, and if we have often advised our children to always be careful in socializing, they will be able to take care of themselves in social situations.

While this is completely true I do not see it happening as this will require the entire advertising industry to reinvent itself, become heavily regulated and monitored for this to work, advertisers are allowed by law to make fluff statements with the intention of improving the perception of the consumer has of their products, and if a gambling ad states that someone can earn a fortune on their casino they are not really lying as this could happen, however what they do not mention is that the possibilities of this happening are incredibly low and the most likely outcome is that you will lose your money.

That's their job too. These ads attract people to their site and make them gamble. Ads serve their purpose. I don't think there will be any prohibition because the person is free to make decisions. Those advertisers do not force you into the site.

There are winners too, so there's nothing wrong with advertisers. I agree with you about what they didn't mention.
And at least on this topic I agree with the posture of the government, unless an advertiser is caught in a  complete lie they should be able to say what they want in order to increase the sales of those which hire their services as this is their job, it is up to each person to decide if they want to let that kind of advertising to affect them and buy the products they see been promoted by those advertisers, now do I think that sometimes they may push the limits of what it should be allowed? Yes, but that is true for almost any other profession anyway and it is not exclusive to them.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads).
That's also part of the marketing that gambling sites try to do on various social media platforms and that doesn't only apply to YouTube, because now we find lots of advertisements like that on almost all social media. I also often see ads like this on YouTube and sometimes it's a little annoying when a smartphone is held by a child. But usually when we ignore it and switch to another spectacle the ad will disappear. I don't really know about Algorithms and have only heard of patterns like that that often occur on social media.

I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.
The algorithm on YouTube will usually follow the habits that we watch and when we often see videos that have advertisements in the gambling section, we will encounter more and more, that's how the algorithm works on YouTube that I know.

We need to rephrase this a bit because as a parent you have no control over the gambling ads whether they are on Youtube, social media or where ever, but if you want, you can and should control your kids and tell them not to gamble.

Another thing to note is that gambling is not free of cost. There is no way the kids can go online and start gambling just like they play online games. In gambling, we have to put in our money and then gamble/bet. How come kids get that money to gamble? I believe parents are equally responsible if their kids have the money to gamble. The parents themselves give the money to kids and later feel surprised how they gamble:Smiley
Not just the advertisements but also the recommendations. They can appear randomly and maybe one day, it was gambling is the one that is the front page. I know Youtube has a version made for kids. It's called Youtube kids. This one must be strict that even the explicit/sensitive ads which are only appropriate for adults won't show here even once.

I hope other apps will implement the same thing so that we are sure that our kids are safe. Like they said above. Many kids nowadays are now disrespectful to their parents. It's hard for us to control them anymore. So many factors that influence them to be like this including us (their parents).

That means social media managers must be able to provide filters for all their users and only allow users over 18 years of age to view gambling or other adult advertisements. And the ad filter must be able to provide its features to all users so that they can filter the ads they want to appear on their homepage. Maybe the government can give this advice to social media managers because the only ones who can do this are the social media managers themselves. After doing that filtering, it is hoped that ads that are not suitable for users will not appear on their homepage.
yes there should be. However, in reality, today's children are able to make their own settings, which sometimes don't match what their parents expect. Meanwhile, on several sites, online games, or YouTube, gambling ads continue to grow and are very easy to find. This looks really promising for these young people. In this case, parental control is indeed important, but we as parents also cannot control it for 24 hours straight and monitor all activity on the device in real time online 24 hours a day. This is indeed a challenge for the online world that continues to grow. Indeed, he hopes that the government will automatically block advertisements like that in this country.
Yes as parents it is not possible to monitor your child 24/7. With technology you can do it but that might sounds like invading the privacy of your child. The parent needs to establish whether they want to put a surveillance on their child by checking the environment they are part of . I mean the friends the child has and what they are generally do in the lesiure time. Technically monitoring is possible if you know how to use the technology.

We need to rephrase this a bit because as a parent you have no control over the gambling ads whether they are on Youtube, social media or where ever, but if you want, you can and should control your kids and tell them not to gamble.

Most children get their first money by saving for lunches in educational institutions. Many parents know this, but it is almost impossible to control it. The saved money is often spent on various kinds of entertainment that parents forbid (vaping, gambling, donations, etc.). It is simply unrealistic to control your child 24/7, besides, people are always eager to violate prohibitions (to try what is forbidden).

Even if a child has no money it does not mean that he/she cannot gamble, for example, card games with peers. The game currency can be any personal belongings of the child.

And it is because of this that the best thing we can do is to talk to them about this before they even have a chance to gamble, this way when they encounter a situation in which some of their peers are gambling they will be more eager to say no even if the peer pressure they exert over your child is on the strong side, however if parents refuse to give their child guidance about this topic then it is likely they will begin to gamble behind their backs, and even if it does not develop into a big issue the truth is that a minor has no business gambling at all.
