Another way one can see it is that part of the revenue or the money generated by those advertisements (regardless they are related to gambling or not) goes to the content creators, so if one is subscribed to channels which indeed show to be of good quality and there is indeed some work behind their editing and script, I do not mind to support them indirectly with advertisements.

Its an angle that puts the value of money against the value of ad-free content consumption. As for ad-blocking extensions, I second your opinion that they dont fully support content creators' revenue streams.
