As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club

As a football lover and a club fan I will always support my club no matter who their rival could be,  for that's the spirit of fanship. Betting against my club does makes me feel some slight guilt inside as it's like I am never always there for a club I claim to support when they're playing against another team with no winning chance, only giving support to your club when they are at the advantage end doesn't show much of a die-hard fan you are. I place my bet in favor of my club at anytime not minding the odds. I only give attention to odds when it's not my club.

When betting i don’t let my emotions take charge, nobody wants his team to loose but when the odds are not in favor of my team and in actuality i can clearly see it would be difficult for my team then i will have to bet against them but in most cases i often choose not to bet on the game, i skip that match because I can’t bear to see my team loose. But come to think of it, if the odds are against your team and you end up placing a bet against them and the outcome was positive, your team lost but you won the bet i don’t think you will be sad about the outcome. It happened to me once and i was not that sad because i have money to spend. Its just like someone pay you if your team losses.

Ideally, if a true gambler would do his betting. they are well aware that as gamblers, they will put their emotions aside, even if it involves the team they are passionate about. why, so they can think from a neutral, objective point of view. plus, without any aggravating factors. after that, they will analyze it based on the insights and knowledge they have. if the choice is not ideal for betting on the team they are interested in, they will usually look at various other options. otherwise, they could just bet on the team that is more profitable for them. in essence, they will choose the more profitable option. that way, they will benefit from the gamble.

Unlike us, we ourselves tend not to bet if the opponents are above them. for example, Arsenal vs City. automatically, I would not bet on Arsenal even though it is my favorite team. because theoretically, City is far above Arsenal's level. except, I will have another option like Under/Over. or, I wouldn't bet at all. not really, to bet on City. in essence, all gamblers will do as they wish. in fact, not infrequently, even though a team is an Underdog team, as true fans they will happily bet on their favorite team. so, we will find various opinions on the questions raised by the OP.

It would really be according into you personal point of views on which if you cant really afford on betting against on the team that you do like the most then its really just that true that it would be better to skip out such

Then it means you're not ready to win whenever it's your club turn to play, you should reaalise that the fact that you're gambling is not to support your club but instead to either earn some cash or get entertained. Come on man, there are many other ways to get an advantage in that match even though you don't have to place a bet on the opposing club but you can bet on who will score the first goal or bet on guess the score.

In real life or social media, we may show openly and continuously that we support our favorite club, whoever the opponent is and whatever the conditions are. I do not see anything wrong against betting against your club. Why would there be? If a fan is so devoted to the point where he thinks that idolizing a certain team makes him become part of a superior group of people. Basically nationalism but with loyalty to a team instead of a nation. Those kind of fanatics go too far and can cause real harm. Sorry to say but you're not a gambler. As a gambler your concern should focus on making profits and not allow your emotions to mix with your gambling. What if your team is the only game available to bet on that day? You won't bet at all? You need to be serious with your gambling life I must say. I see absolutely nothing wrong betting against your team if odds is against them. As painful as it will be, my pocket comes first. No love better than self love after all.
