Barcelona did perform well in the Champions League but that does not mean Barcelona is the favorite in the Champions League because Barcelona it is facing a team that is not too difficult for to faced and Barcelona can lead Group H at the moment.
I thinks Barcelona still has a lot to learn because the competition in the UCL is very tight especially since they just suffered a defeat against Real Madrid so I don't think Barcelona has a chance to trophy in the Champions League this season.
in my opinion the strong candidates to win the title this season are Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

For domestic league performed, we can see how poor performance with Barcelona exactly after losing from Real Madrid in el clasico match.

I believe that you made this statement before the Barcelona vs Real Madrid in the weekend where their we're defeated by a goal difference,  although the overall performance of Barcelona in the Champions League has been very impressive bit in the other leagues such as the La Liga,  the club is already gradually falling behind in the number of won games.

But if it is the UEFA then we can bank on the Barcelona squad to do something very impressive and much respected by the fans and even the other football spectators who may be interested in seeing the club win.

At least I believe that Barcelona will progress to the next stage easily. And it looks like Barcelona will indeed be one of the strong candidates this season in the Champions League. Because actually in the match against Barcelona in Laliga, I saw that Barcelona actually played very well. Even Gundogan was able to score a goal in the 6th minute of the match. Every team has several weaknesses. Barcelona's performance is erratic. In La Liga, they could not occupy the top spot in the table. Real Madrid is playing very well it is true. However, the attacking side of this team is quite weak. Real Madrid are reliant on their midfielders. Manchester City's squad looks very strong but the City's midfield is quite weak without De Bruyne. And because of this, City's performance is also a bit slow compared to the previous season. All teams have some weaknesses. This is why it is difficult to predict which team will win the Champions League title this season. It's true, the current Barcelona squad is not yet mature enough to win the Champions League title and even though it has several experienced players, complete maturity is still needed if you want to win the title. Barcelona has been on hiatus for 7 years in the race for the Champions League title and even now they still don't look like a strong candidate to win.

The group phase is the easiest place for them to qualify and moreover they are in a group filled with teams that are not that strong so to advance to the round of 16 it would be very open, but if they were to be in the quarter finals it would be very difficult for them face other strong teams.

I think there is nothing to blame when the club doesn't get good results, Barcelona tried their best and they were unlucky, Madrid deserves appreciation. I also understand that victory is not achieved by luck alone, but rather by going through such a preparation stage. In the Champions League Barcelona has quite the advantage over the teams that are not that strong in group H, but in La Liga Barcelona is still able to be beaten by its true rivals like yesterday at home so it is appropriate for Barcelona to use young players in their squad without more reliance on aging main players. They're in 3rd place now and is that a bad thing? Sure, they may have lost a big game yesterday, but they can't say it was because they played badly, especially since it was a very draining game and they didn't have a ful squad.

Newcastle United still has hope in Group F because there are 3 more matches remaining which can change everything. For now, PSG may be the strongest, but these four teams will of course change positions in the standings table in the next 3 matches. Indeed, previously many thought that Newcastle United would not be able to compete with the other 3 teams because they had been absent for a long time in the Champions League. But in the matches they played, of course they were able to put pressure on their opponents.

Even some of them only need 1 more win to ensure themselves will qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League this season. They swept all their matches with a win and even the victories they got had no significant obstacles.
