I don't believe there is a big difference between Arsenal and Barcelona right now. Bookmakers must be thinking the same as me that the odds of these teams to become the champions are nearly the same now. We haven't seen anything serious yet of course. Both of them don't have any title contender in their groups.

After the group stage we will find out which one of these teams will come one step forward. It would be more visible against top teams.

For now I have some good expectations from especially Arsenal. Despite being full of young players they are playing really solid under the management of Arteta.

I agree with you, even though Real Madrid has a good history in the EPL competition, that doesn't mean they another club need to be afraid, because we know that ups and downs in performance will definitely happen to a club, including Madrid. Modric and Kroos are two veteran names who maintain the transition between ages in the Madrid squad, both of whom are symbols of Madrid's success in previous seasons. However, they are no longer young, Madrid still needs both of them because of their experience and leadership on and off the field. For playing minutes, both of them have received a reduced share from Ancelotti this season.

I genuinely don't believe that Sevilla will draw a tie. With Sevilla in their perceptions they are having difficulty achieving their season's objectives. José Mendilibar was fired by the board for his poor performance, and Diego Alonso was appointed in his place despite his own struggles to improve the team's performance.  Sevilla has drawn twice in the UCL this season but has yet to win in Group B where they're sitting 3rd on the table. His responsibility as a new coach means that Diego Alonso must be able to bring this team to its first 3 points in the group phase and if they continue to fail, their chances of qualifying will be slimmer. Arsenal may not look awesome with that loss, but they are still by far the best team in that group and I bet that they are going to finish the group as the first place. I will go one further, there are not that many teams that would be good at the second place, maybe PSG could finish second I am not sure but it's just 2 games so we do not know, but at the end of the day there is a HUGE possibility that Arsenal will face an easier opponent at last 16 as well, so they will probably see the quarter finals too.

Maybe it's just me, but a season where you are top three in premier league and at quarter finals of UCL would not be that bad for them. I understand people want success, but you build that success over time and not right away. Next season they could go for that title, or be second again, and this time maybe semi-finals and slowly keep growing that up until they have one EPL title and one UCL title, it could be like Liverpool at different years as well.

To be honest Real Madrid seem stronger than last season at least. After Benzema left the team in the summer and Real Madrid didn't want to sign a top striker in his place I doubted them a little. However they seem even better this season. They are doing great in the La Liga and I can say the same thing for the Champions League as well.

These two teams are in different groups in the Champions League this season and I don't think we will link the performance of the two teams to compare what is happening at the moment. This means that Arsenal will focus all their energy on being able to win the next match against Sevilla where in the previous match arsenal lost points when they faced Lens. It's very important you understand that Real Madrid have got More experience with the champions league than Arsenal, real Madrid is always having an appearance more often in the UCL than arsenal does , so their vast experience would be a very big advantage for them as the know how well to handle big and small teams at the UCL, having played UCL to finals severally.

The truth is that Real Madrid are currently better than they were at this particular stage last season but I think it's too early to conclude if this current Real Madrid squad is gonna deliver a better campaign for the club than the squad if last season did.
Their former captain Karim Benzema who was the club's most important player before he left in the summer to join a Saudi Arabian club but that hasn't really affected the team's performance this season as Madrid's summer signing Jude Bellingham have been firing goals from all cylinders for the club despite being a midfield player. If we don’t misjudge and still allow this two teams to meet, it will definitely be in the champions league and not any other league. The same champions league you claim Real Madrid have more experience than Arsenal in.
