PSG was just lucky, nothing more. A loss at home to a mid-tier team would've been devastating. Judging from this performance today from PSG, I'm not sure they'd go very far in the tournament.

PSG just couldn't get past the Newcastle defense. They lack so much creativity in the middle. Newcastle too were very composed and compact. The penalty awarded to PSG was not a penalty to me. That should not have been a penalty but it is what it is.
What's more worrying for PSG is that they couldn't win Newcastle over two legs, they could only manage a draw.

Now PSG needs to win their last game against Dortmund to qualify for the R16. If they fail to win Dortmund and either of Milan or Newcastle wins on the match day 6 then PSG would be heading to the Europa league.

It was a fantastic and entertaining night of football with plethora of goals in all the matches played tonight in the eufa champions league. In the game between PSG vs Newcastle I know Newcastle are sad with the scores of the game when they thought they had stolen the three points already but PSG relentlessly kept on mounting pressure which rewarded them with a penalty kick in the extra time just a minute or two for the referee to end the game. This game outcome favours PSG the more and we can see that in the reaction of their fan in the stadium when kalian Mbappe puts the ball behind the net. It was a beautiful game from both sides though.

While this is heartbreaking for Newcastle, at the end this shows once again that a match is not over until the referee deems that is the case, and the players need to remain alert until this happens, however not all is lost, if Dortmund can beat PSG during their upcoming match and Newcastle gets the win then they can move forward to the next round anyway, and even if PSG drew the game with Dortmund as long as Newcastle was able to beat Milan for 2 or more scores they could still reach the next round.

The golden chance owned by newcastle to secure the spot for the knock out stage. The chance is still there as long as PSG will be losing against dortmund but this is a gamble for newcastle. I meant let's say that if PSG was losing against dortmund and the chance for newcastle to pass the group stage is quite big as it will be playing against acmilan at home. The chance to get into the knock out stage is really big.

I think that people understood about the last chance owned by newcastle and acmilan. Acmlan is not on its best and this is a chance for newcastle to make it but it totally depends on the result of dortmund. Im sure PSG is not willing to give its spot to the other club as well.
Winning against dortmund is a mandatory for the club or it will lose a chance to qualify.

Mbappe is also having one of his worst games by the way. The team are performing terrible as a whole. They don't deserve even one point with this performance honestly.

It is very surprising to see that Paris Saint-German could not beat Newcastle United at home,  PSG was able to get a draw match against Newcastle United through a penalty kick in the dying minutes. Manchester City came from behind to beat Leipzig 3-2 at home, Leipzig was proving difficult for Manchester City to beat but at last Manchester City went home with the three points.

PSG lost their advantage in Group F when they lost 1-2 to AC Milan in the previous match.  Luis Enrique and his team did not make mistakes in this match, ensuring that the ticket to the next round still has a chance for them.
Knowing that PSG was lucky in this match, Newcastle led until the last minute. In the final minutes of the game, PSG received a controversial penalty. Minute 90+6, Livramento let the ball touch his hand within 16m50, but in slow motion, it can be seen that the ball hit this player's chest before finding his arm. I also want to say that, man, look, everyone criticizes PSG, saying that PSG didn't perform right, Mbappe didn't perform blah blah whatever, but no one said that it was Newcastle United's excellence; they did well. I really admire him that after playing so well against PSG, it is all credit to Newcastle United that they have defeated big clubs in recent matches, including the 1st league of PSG, West Ham United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

UEFA Champions League group F brings us enough exciting actions. Group F is full of amazing actions, the expected teams that's supposed to be in competitive actions are the ones relenting and giving us up so easily and the underrated ones are the ones fighting really hard for points over there. Then Paris Saint-Germain and Borrusia Dortmund seems to be the ones that will qualify and while some team will make it to the Europa without any solid differences, but due to the high pressure from all the teams, the ones that wouldn't meet up will settle for lesser results.

They knew they can finish it in Milan and they did . Now they can go into the winter break in some weeks knowing they are still in the champions league.

It is indeed very disappointing with what we have seen from PSG in the match against Newcastle. In the end, now we know that PSG is not only weak in away matches but it turns out they are also unpredictable in home matches. Newcastle, which is actually not in its best condition, was actually able to get a draw in this match. What makes Newcastle still have a chance to qualify for the next stage if Newcastle wins the last match and PSG loses the last match.

What was most surprising was that it was Dortmund who were the first to ensure themselves of qualifying from the group stage in Group F. Even though from the start I really believed that PSG would be the first to get a ticket to the round of 16. But I didn't expect PSG to become what it is now. In two meetings, PSG not being able to beat Newcastle is something that surprised me.

Milan also lost to Dortmund. And that also happened at the San Siro, namely at Milan headquarters itself. And what was even more surprising was that Milan lost with a fairly large score, namely 3-1. There is only one match left in the UCL group phase qualification, of all the teams divided into 8 groups, there are many teams that can definitely qualify for the last 16.
Even though there is still one match remaining, several teams that are certain to qualify are indeed the top teams in each group who have quite significant advantages.

- Group C Real Madrid and Napoli.
- Group D Real Sociedad and also Inter Milan.
- Group E Atletico Madrid and Lazio.
- Group F Dortmund and in second place are still being contested by three teams in the last match, namely PSG, Newcastle and Milan.
- Group G Manchester City and Leipzig.
- Group H Barcelona and for second place will still be contested by Porto and Shakhtar who both have 9 points.

There is a big chance for Newcastle United or Ac Milan to qualify for the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League because Paris Saint-German will find it difficult to beat Borussia Dortmund at home, the highest result PSG can get from Borussia Dortmund is a draw match. Newcastle United stands a better chance of reaching the last Uefa Champions League because they had a better head-to-head against PSG, Newcastle United needs to win against AC Milan, while Borussia Dortmund and PSG should end in a draw match.

Barcelona can breathe a sigh of relief after finishing the match in Match 5 with a win. Xavi Hernandez team not only qualified for the last 16, the additional three points gained after an already tough win over Porto made them group winners. Barcelona can be more relaxed in Match 6 when facing Royal Antwerp, Barcelona has a H2H lead over both Porto and Shakhtar.
Xavi can rotate in this match because whatever the result in the last match is no longer affected because if the points are the same, it is H2H that is assessed, then only the goals are aggregated. Porto, who had just been defeated by Barcelona, had to play a life and death match in the last match versus Shakhtar to qualify for the last 16.

Apart from Barcelona, which managed to secure tickets to the last 16, several other teams also qualified for the last 16 after winning the 5th match. Now PSG is in tight corner because if they failed to win their next match against Borussia Dortmund and either of Newcastle or AC Milan wins in their next encounter, they are out of the competition.  PSG has continued to disapoint many who thought they were a strong side considering the quality of players they have.

Every fighter has their core strength area where they exact their strength, dominance and authority. As far as the Champions League is concerned, PSG possess enough authority than Newcastle United. Newcastle United in recent time doesn't have any feather to their hair in the champions league, unlike PSG who has been consistent in the champions league over a decade.

When the pressure is much, it is Newcastle that will now and not PSG. Before now Newcastle was devastated by series of injuries but the return of Isak who joined forces with Almiron has boosted Newcastle performance. I will need to state that for Newcastle United to succeed, they will need to perform more than what they did against Chelsea. They really need to be strong and consistent throughout the 90mins.

No matter how consistent PSG are in the champions league (in appearance) they're still weak when they come to face a team that has the same strength as them. And with that alone it shows that the PSG side are never a good competitors, they're just there to complete the number of teams in the UCL.
Honestly the injury Newcastle had didn't really affect them instead they became stronger than before, but is best to have your complete team than losing them to injury. Chelsea has never been a better team compared some other teams Newcastle has faced especially PSG, so I'd give Newcastle a thumbs up for their recent performance.
