Yeah actually I feel bad for them too because I no the kind of effort they have Putin in this season but however it was quite unfortunate they were unable to qualify to another round, although if they had putting more effort on there last match against AC Milan they would have qualified because they had the opportunity to have scored Ac Milan on the 33 minutes of the match and they were able to maintain and defend the goal till the second half of the match before Ac Milan was able to equalize and later win Newcastle United 2-1.

Perhaps just like you said the injury players was actually what affected the performance of Newcastle United because if they had all been in a good state I doubt if Ac Milan would have win them.

If Newcastle plays to their maximum strength (if none of their core players are injured) then of course Newcastle will even be able to get through the group stage very well. This is football, anything can happen during the second half. As far as i can see that if acmilan was doing some changes. It was pushing even harder compared with the first half. Glad to see that acmilan can still manage to enter into the european competition but newcastle officially leave from UCL. Newcastle needs to learn a lot from the current case. After 20 seasons of waiting, Newcastle return to the competition was somehow disappointing and I think it was because of the fact that they unfortunately found themselves in a very tight group. Newcastle and Milan are having the same problem regarding the consistency of their playing performance. Even Newcastle looks worse because they have to face quite tough EPL competition than Milan, which I think is still quite okay even though their performance has also decreased.

A good start to the season for Newcastle United even though they failed in the Champions League but they proved that this year they are playing in the highest caste from Newcastle United's absence in the Champions League, the first time Newcastle United has played again in the top caste even though they failed at least they proved that they are capable of competing with other clubs. For someone like me I don't take PSG anymore serious than I used to as they have been really disappointing in the champions league previous competition's, you see them raise fans hope from the beginning only to get it shattered in the middle of the competition with the manner of squad they have always possessed in their team.

PSG would still disappoint in the champions league this season. It's what they do. The problem is they don't have a balanced squad to me. It's not just about having expensive players in one position but having good players in every position. PSG have a good attack but it's not balanced. Their midfield is not balanced, their defense is not balanced.
Yesterday their attack was toothless, if Dortmund had been a bigger team PSG would have lost and not qualified out of the group stage. They don't have a midfield that can control games in big matches. I know that players are expensive right now but you don't always have to break the bank to sign good players. Last season they had a good attack but a very poor midfield and defense. This season, the attack is not as good as last season but it's okay but not technical and clinical enough. Mbappe is the only attacker they can rely on at all times but even him can't score every chance he gets.
I'm not putting any hope on PSG because they only flatter to deceive, but they can't deceive me this time around.

It is indeed a shame that Newcastle was able to provide a good performance in the UCL against PSG but at the decisive moment Newcastle was faced with the problem of player injuries which were detrimental and gave Milan a big opportunity in the second half. At least what Newcastle has done this season is more than enough. Hopefully we can still see it again because for Newcastle this is just the first step to go further and teach important lessons. In the end group F was represented by Dortmund and PSG who advanced to the round of 16. Newcastle lack of depth in their squad was one of the major reason for their exit in UCL apart from inexperience in European competition, I believe playing the same set of players week in week out in EPL as well playing midweek UCL matches with the same squad would have a negative impact on their players one of which is fatigue same problem was experienced by Man Utd who equally crashed out of the UCL, Arsenal and Man City are well strengthened unfortunately Newcastle who also aim to clinch the the top spot 4 in the league would have to forgot UCL to achieve their aim there is no how optimum performance by their players won't be guaranteed and now they can fully concentrate on EPL games to compete for top 4 spot.
