Spain became the country that qualified the most teams to the knockout phase. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad they all won the group. Only Sevilla failed to qualify. While for Germany and Italy only 3 each then England 2. Of course with the condition of Niki the chances of Spanish clubs winning the UCL this season are quite large, but there are many strong teams in this knockout phase. I'm waiting for the knockout phase draw, hopefully there will be a game with a League team or a final too early.

As far as I know the draw for last 16 is going to take place on next Monday. I wish Galatasaray were also a part of it but unfortunately they performed terrible against Copenhagen like it wasn't an important game and this resulted in their elimination from the competition.    But at least we earned a lot of money during the journey which is important to finance our latest transfers.

I think that Copenhagen won't last any longer in the Champions League by the way. Looking at the group leaders only Real Sociedad can be considered a favourable challenge for them.

I don't understand why Galatasay were so unlucky in the group phase, when they were able to beat Man United at old trafford and hold them to a draw for the second time, their performance was quite promising. so that makes us brave enough to bet on their victory when they face Copenhagen in the last match.

Galatasaray failed to take advantage of the momentum to advance to the last 16, and now they can continue their struggle to the Europa League. actually, what is more chaotic is Man United, they really don't have the mentality to compete in the UCL this season, the internal problems and friction that occurred within the club made them fail to speak much in group A.

The level of competition in the round of 16 is certainly fiercer, and everyone will try to beat each other. Every team will be required to show their best game, and it doesn't matter who their opponent is there. for this reason, it is mandatory to have a winning mentality, it will be useless if you have squad depth if you are afraid of facing your favorite club.

This is very scary because the other teams that did not achieve a single win were Red Star and Union Berlin, which could be called mediocre teams. Actually I hope Sevilla can appear in the UEFA European League because they have an impressive record there. But after seeing their ranking in the league I think Sevilla this season is really ruined and does not deserve to qualify for the UEFA European League. Last season they achieved 13 wins at the end of the season. And this season they only achieved 2 wins from 16 matches.

Because if Newcastle kept their advantage and won then PSG were about to say goodbye to the Champions League. However I'm not expecting a big achievement from PSG here this season. Glad to see that if so numerous clubs were able going to the knock out stage. The fact that both Pot 1 and Pot 2 have already been revealed means that we are just moments away from witnessing the draw. The teams in pot 2 was not hoping to face some clubs like real madrid or bayern munich.

Some clubs that are still under perform like napoli may be probably leaving from the UCL after the upcoming stage. Serie a clubs were not performing so well this season except intermilan which is still very consistent right now.
We should wait for the draw to take place in order to determine the schedule for the upcoming match. I expect PSG to face a strong club from pot 1. The performance of Mbappe's team during the group stage was not up to par.

Pep needs only to do some adjustments in the defensive line and this will help the club to perform like last season. That's what manchester city intended to do with its run in the UCL.

I guess PSG coach has a lot of work to do to make people believe that he is capable to move the team to another level that will give people joy because many people were not happy for the struggle they struggle in their group to qualify which is not encouraging their fans.

To be honest, I feel your pain about Galatasaray's shocking loss to Copenhagen. Could you say it felt like a cold splash of water? You'd think they had this game won after how well they played against Man United—beating them at Old Trafford and then holding them to a draw. It's natural for what happened to Sevilla because their performance has not improved since the start of the season, I regret what happened because last season Sevilla's performance was not that impressive even though they won the Europa League and the team management should have been more serious in building the team but in fact they it didn't work until now.

the last game will push any team to go all in. This is the only choice owned by those clubs. They go all in or they go back home. That's why draw would never happen. I think that those clubs were knowing that what's gonna be the consequence when a club has been facing a trouble to pass the knock out stage. Sevilla in the last few years haven't done really well in the Champions League Competition. I can root for em during the Europa League Competition but not the Champions League because they're one such a shaky squad. With how they've played in the La Liga, it was enough to signal that they're not going nowhere near the next round even with the arrival of Sergio Ramos, I had high hopes of seeing some level of balance with them defenders.

Shameful back to back lose, in the Champions League and now the La Liga. It was the best decision to make from.the management of Sevilla, they had no other option but to sack the manager, he's no better than the previous one who won Sevilla the Europa League Competition last season. No one has been appointed though, but there should be someone in charge for the main time.

I don’t wish for the final to come too early as it happened last season when the match between Real Madrid and Manchester City was played at the semifinals matchup. It was very obvious that any team that won between those two in the semifinals will be the champions league winners and that was what happened after Manchester City eliminated Real Madrid from the semifinal. I can’t say for now which league teams will make it to the final just yet. The elimination stage draws will decide more on which team would make it far in this competition before getting to the final stage of the competition.

Apart from this simple scenario, there is actually something easier, namely being patient and giving Enrique time to build the squad according to his wishes, without too much involvement from top officials and club management in determining which players to buy, and which players by letting go, I mean not demanding much.
