Copenhagen in the group stage did take us by surprise with the qualification they were able to get pass the group stage when we leat expected from them because at the beginning of the season, they did appear like they wear a weak team amongst others in the group, they only had Galatasaray as their equal but then it turned out they are now qualified for the round of sixteen.

I believe Manchester city will still win Copenhagen because Manchester city does even better in the champions league and they don't look more superior to Copenhagen both in their team depth and strength so I think unlike the group stage games, Copenhagen is really going to find it difficult in the round of sixteen because the competition here is even more intensive. Arsenal looks like a better team against Porto and I definitely not expect any much from Porto but more from arsenal to win this game because they look more promising with their performance this season.

I think Copenhagen has luck and makes it to the round of 16 in the Champions League. I hope Galatasaray makes it because Copenhagen cannot defeat Manchester City in the knockout stage because they lack the key players that Manchester City has and I am sure they will lose in the round of 16, but if Galatasaray makes it, I can give them hope that they can compete with Manchester City but they failed to qualify, I believe Copenhagen is a bonus match for Manchester City in the round of 16 because they are already 100% that they are in the round of 8 because Napoli are in good form this season and Barcelona are playing weak games in the league and I don't think if they continue like that they can perform against Napoli in the round 16 but I believe Xavi will buy some new players in the January transfer window to make the team stronger.

Arsenal will face Porto in the round 16 but I believe the match will be tough because Porto has experience playing in the Champions League and Arsenal will find it difficult to defeat them because Porto has won the Champions Leagues trophys before and if Arteta did not perform very well in can be knocked out in the round 16 in the competition is only Real Madrid, Manchester City, Dortmund, I believe they are 100% that have already qualified to round 8 in the competition because I no they will win there matches in the stage, PSG can also qualify, but Real Sociedad are performing well in the league and it will be difficult for PSG to defeat them because how psg are playing this seasons they are not perform well and he can affect them in the Champions League, and make real Sociedad to defeat them and all four Spanish clubs have qualified for the next round of the Champions League, and he can still be possible and qualify to round 8 again.

Yea, I also see Real Madrid as the favorite team to win the trophy this season because from the look of things, I don't think that there will be any team that will be able to stop them because they have the good quality of players that are desperate and serious to win the league. Man City might not survive the round of 8, if they don't improve in their performance because with the way they have being playing games with inconsistency recently, shows that they will not be able to make it to the finals.

Inconsistency do happen to clubs that record poor performance in matches, though it's promising to plan ahead. The round of 16 has begun; some clubs did not advance, while others did. Making it to the UCL final is not a simplistic assignment for these clubs because the road trip is fraught with obstacles, with some failing and others succeeding in the final stages. I've seen some of these great clubs become quite erratic in their game results, while others remained solid. Don't get carried away by these elite teams' outstanding forms; they can only be depicted as threats, and the most of them will be tossed from the league.

That's right we will only see two clubs that are in the final and the others have to be eliminated, that's how it works and the rules. The round of 16 will start on 14 February 2024, which means that currently all contestants are completely focused on the domestic level. This is a good opportunity to hone and improve the abilities of each club before competing again in the knockout rounds later. The current priority scale is domestic competitions.

It would be lucky for a club if it had a complete set of players without any injuries before the round of 16 rolls around again, because that is a key factor in achieving victory and creating luck. Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are scheduled to face off in the round of 16 of the UCL. Judging both teams, they're good in their leagues. Even though Inter are at the top of their league whilst Atletico aren't, both teams still have the capacity to make the game fierce for themselves. Both managers are good too and have got experiences too and their squad are good in their own separate ways.

 The game would be fierce, predicting a winner would be difficult and definitely both team odds are high. For their domestic leagues, Inter are still on top and there's not really much threats because they're able to subdue other teams even though the games are sometimes tough especially for Juventus following them closely, they've got a work to do to stay on top of they really want to lift the trophy. For Atletico, they've got 3 teams ahead, so their struggle will only be to finish in the top 3/4 spot because currently they've not gotten any glimpse at the trophy and I doubt that the teams ahead of them will give them the leisure.

Real Madrid has always been a top performer when it comes to the champions league,all season,they've always been the team with a good performance,and even despite not having the names that used to be there and give them that experience,but now,they currently have a squad that is full of young talents who are capable of winning the Champions league as well.

Real Madrid might be experiencing inconsistent results in La Liga but they can be able to deliver when it's time for them to play tough matches. Real Madrid is the best club when it comes to winning major trophies and competing in elite competitions. They have the right players, an experience coach and die-hard fans that channel their energy to becoming one of the best leading club. Mentioning Arsenal and Borrusia Dortmund, they can proves to be competitive within due time and gets knockout when the main business arises.

17 games with 13 wins 3 draws and 1 loss I think that's very consistent because when compared to some of the leading clubs like Manchester City and Bayern in their domestic competitions of course Madrid's consistency now is still a little better than them and I think saying a good result like that with inconsistency is not something that is suitable at all because after all they are doing well now in domestic competitions and the Champions League.
Some clubs like Dortmund or Arsenal are still very good but the strong candidates I think are still the same because in the end, apart from Manchester City, Madrid are definitely one of the strongest candidates again to win the trophy.

Now the drawing has been determined and looking at the opponents that will be faced, I honestly expect a bigger big match than before but indeed for now only Barcelona against Napoli and Inter who will face Atletico alone can be considered a big match in this round of 16.

Real Madrid's champion mentality is what always pushes them. Real Madrid has been paired against Leipzig which I think they will win easily.

Real Madrid is consistent enough and they might win both the league and the champions league. I think the contenders for this time's UCL are Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Real Madrid. I don't see Arsenal and Dortmund crossing the Semi-Final. Bayern Munich has that mentality and they are doing pretty good right now. Manchester City although they have been struggling recently, I believe they will come back. They had some players suffering from injury and if they come back from injury then the team will comeback. Bayern Munich had one of their best signings last summer. Harry Kane is the leading goalscorer currently in the Bundesliga. I think it will all come down to these 3 teams. I see a little chance in Barcelona as well.

Man City would play Danish champions Copenhagen a team which I believe is a less formidable opponent thus I don't think it is going to be a difficult match for Man City they two clubs previous meeting ended in favor of Man City they played a goalless draw at Copenhagen while in second leg Man City thrashed them 5-0 at Etihad stadium I think in this round of 16 Man City would have an easy qualifications same with Arsenal who play Porto, however after their qualifications for the quarterfinals then they would likely be drawn against a much more formidable opponent, from my own point of view Man City squad of this season isn't as strong like that of last season thus their chances of retaining the UCL would be very tough and unsure.

It is quite interesting when looking at the performance of Manchester City, which is experiencing a consecutive decline from week to week in the EPL, which makes many people lose faith that Manchester City will not be like last season, which can massively meet the expectations of its supporters.

I also feel so, that against Copenhagen is not a big problem to conquer, but with the current situation that happened to Manchester City I feel doubtful, because last season was different from the current season, and it seems that Manchester City seems to lose its strength, honestly this can be used by Copenhagen to dominate the match.

Things may change once Manchester City gets all its injured players back. De Bruyne and Haaland are likely to return in January or soon, as is Doku. When Manchester City displays its best squad, it will be difficult for any team to stop it in the Premier League or Champions League.

You can certainly doubt Manchester City in the Champions League, but Manchester City is a team that is much better equipped to advance to the quarter-finals than Copenhagen. Of course I am optimistic about this, even if Copenhagen manages to escape by beating Manchester City then in my opinion it will be a miracle that will never happen again in the next more seasons.

It is impossible to write off City in any competition, they are the best team in the world and even though they are not having their best moment now, you would not expect it to last long and City are going to bounce back sooner rather than later. City are missing a couple of players, especially KDB, i think City have missed him more than they thought they will, i know Julian Alvarez has played in the KDB role since the Belgian got injured, but he is not close to being as creative as KDB. When KDB returns, as well as the other players who are missing, Pep would have a complete team and can play in the best way he wants to.

Yes, Spanish teams really tried, and they dominated the group stage, only Sevilla was eliminated out of the Champions League, but the remaining four teams are still intact in the knockout stage even though due to the draw some of them might not go above this stage especially Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid due to hoe tough the opponents are.

Borussia Dortmund taking on PSV in the UCL round of sixteen is another game actually anticipate the thrill that will be accompanied by this game because both teams are looking like they will be tough on each other, PSV in their domestic league is at the top of the table and are doing so well, they have a very good point difference ahead of the other teams behind them.

PSV is definitely not a weak side as compared to borussia Dortmund, I could consider they a good or fair contender, recalling back to their group stage performance, PSV literally looked like they escaped been relegated to Europa  because they were just a point ahead of lens and four points behind Arsenal leaving them at the second position in their group standings, meanwhile Dortmund finished top of their group with three points ahead winning three matches a d drew two so obviously they are by statistics matching in strength in some ways, so I think by champion league standard they are both average teams. For now I only think that Real Madrid could get to the Champions League final this season, while another team might be Inter Milan because Inter Milan is also extraordinary this season even though they didn't win their own group. So I am more confident that it will be Inter Milan and Real Madrid who reach the final, but if one of them falls first, I think Real Madrid will definitely survive until the final this season.

You cannot say every game will be boring, this is the CL RO16 and the unexpected can happen, the teams that people have written off might cause some upsets and make the game tougher and more difficult for the bigger teams. We have clubs that will enter key rounds, no doubts about these clubs. You seem to be too sure about a specific club lifting the UCL trophy this season. Whereas I'm contemplating on Real Madrid coming out to be a promising club and won't relent in achieving major goals this season. Real Madrid is the only promising Spanish club that have great potentials of reach the UCL final this season. They have all the quality players this season and a genius as headcoach, Carlo Ancelotti to ginger his players to enter key rounds in the UCL competition.

It could be that Manchester city and Real madrid will meet earlier, either in the last 8 or in the last 4. I think these two teams are of course quite strong in the Champions League this season but you also don't forget that Bayern Munich are very strong this season. With the depth of Bayern Munich squad this season, I think they will be able to reach the final and even become champions this season. I doubt Manchester City can defend the title this season because they experienced big problems in several matches in the domestic league which could have a bad impact on them in the Champions League this season.

Bellingham could make big history if he succeeds in bringing Real Madrid to win the Champions League this season because in his first season with Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham immediately became an idol for the fans because he always contributed greatly to every match by scoring goals. Even Haaland and Harry Kane will both work hard in every match to bring their team to go far in the Champions League this season. We agree, in fact I have submitted on many occasions a review of Manchester City. although it is possible, my point of view about City is not correct or is only based on personal assumptions. but in fact, in every match Pep always rotates several of his players, and Pep often doesn't hesitate to change several patterns. I really don't understand what he actually expected. however, it could be that he prepared his team more for this competition than the Premier League. well, we can refer to the Club World Cup match they played. this match was the first time I saw Pep apply the 3-5-2 pattern. a little strange and confusing, even made me laugh, Bernardo Silva and Mathues Nunes were paired as a sticker. Kelvin De Bruyne is expected to return to the football pitch from his hamstring injury by the middle of December. We don't know whether Pep Guardiola would love to fixture him in their last match of the year against Everton or would wait till January before he fixture him in any of Manchester City's upcoming matches.

Hopefully, by the beginning of next year, all the injured players(De Bruyne, Steffen, Haaland, and Doku) will find themselves back in the Manchester City squad. There was no match worthy of the words "early final" in the 1/8 round. Defending champion Man City is especially lucky to only have to meet Copenhagen, the most underrated team. Real Madrid seems to have the easiest time among the Spanish teams entering the 1/8 round because their opponent is Leipzig, which is not the strongest in Germany and not a significant force in the European arena. Meanwhile, PSG was fortunate to avoid big opponents and clash with Sociedad. PSG was very lucky to get through the group stage, including a draw with Newcastle at home that they almost lost.
Overall, in this round, the wins belong to the big teams. The next quarter-finals are the "early finals" worth watching.

Copenhagen is not an easy team as you may think, they are very good defensively that was the advantage they had over Manchester United and Galatasaray in the group stage; they are the only team that draw Bayern Munich in the group stage which means they can do what many people did not expect, but I am not saying that they can beat or eliminate Manchester City, but they should not be underrated.

Napoli vs Barcelona, and Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid will be two games we cannot predict in this stage of competition, this because any of these teams can qualify since they are of similar standards.

Copenhagen once caused a storm in the group against MU and Galatasaray, but when they meet Pep Guardiola's team, they will show their true nature. I saw Kevin De Bruyne return to practice with Man City after injury. Their central player is back, and they can return to their previous form, crushing all opponents. A weak Copenhagen team cannot make things difficult for the defending champion.

In the last 6 clashes, Barca won 6, and the remaining 2 were draws. Napoli can no longer prove their strength like the previous season.  They had to try hard in the last round to get into the 1/8 game. It will not be surprising if Barca forces Napoli to stop early. I doubt if Manchester City could be able to win Real Madrid on the finals if they both eventually qualify to the final of the game because real Madrid is a professional and more experience than Manchester City because they always win Manchester City whenever they meet them on the champions League finals, however I could remember how there last meeting on the champions league finals ended up after all the performance of Manchester City on that final but real Madrid was able to prove to them that they are more deserving to win the champions league than Manchester City, but however let's see how the end of the season will look like because with the consideration of performance real Madrid and Manchester City are the best candidate to qualify for the finals because they don't have much of a rival.
