I think the issue of women in gambling being considered as not being responsible and ostracized by the general public is something that is common in most countries of the world, Not just in Indonesia, or the fact that its Muslim country.
Nigeria is mixed with Muslim and Christianity, but the country is majorly a Christian filled country, and here, women who are discovered to be into gambling are considered highly irresponsible as well, in-fact, such a woman will hardly find a man to marry her except the man does  not know that she gambles...
And some times, I am left asking myself, if men are doing it and no body see it as a crime, why does it become crime when its a woman doing it?, i mean gambling..

Interesting fact that women gamble will be ostracized because they think women are inappropriate to play in the gambling environment, when they see women gambling they will be marked as women who should be avoided by men because gambling behavior for women will be difficult to build a household for good economic management, even though gambling addiction is not different from gender but we trust the management of family funds to the wife and I think we prefer women who have other jobs and she has never been involved in any gambling.

Brother, preach! Im getting your religious point. Since all religions encourage equality, shouldnt all sins be sins for all? Avoid gender preconceptions. Generalising that women gamble less because they're less greedy ignores individual distinctions. Socioeconomic position and psychological features affect gambling behaviour, according to academic research. Women not squandering money (ouch!) The ratio of men vs women gamblers is high and aside from the various reasons you mentioned, there is any factor that you failed to mentioned as being responsible for the higher rate of men involvement in gambling vs women and that reason is the risk and responsibility of providing for the family which put man at the higher risk of trying to make enough to care for the family, because unlike the women who's mahor responsibility is on the husband, it then means that the male forks take more risk comoared to the women since gambling is a high risk game, the female forks will be more skeptical about it and i  most cases tend to look away from gambling and focusing more on some othe realistic real life activities.

So this difference have made a limitation to women's involvement in gambling and this differs from country to country and region to region and all the same with the coming of online gambling,  the number of female gambling has increased and more also it is a fact that there can now gamble in privacy which is more inclusive in the region where gambling may be prohibited or banned.

In my country today, gambling in some regions is prohibited but the Sharia/Islamic laws that prohibit gambling also have several other laws that set limits as to women's involvement in public affairs,  and these limits have affected both women and men in many ways which have pause a limitation to the general public involvement I gambling.

But if you as me to make a ratio as to the rate of women vs men give men 80% and women 20% from the total of 100% so this is a pointer to what I mean when I said that the male. rate triple women's involvement in gambling.

Isnt it too one-sided? Men bet more since they're providers. Protected by men, women are more risk-averse. Isn't this too simplistic? Traditional positions are being renegotiated or challenged in the 21st century.

Today's women are independent, working, and sharing family duties. Isnt it better to include this? Could their gambling be influenced by social acceptance, education, or risk tolerance?

Sorry this is a bit outside of gambling but come to think of this, don't you think this well-modernized society thing and the freedom this has granted or given to women to do what ever they like, or want, is one of the major reasons why there is so much divorcees and single mothers in our supposed well-modernized societies today?

If you think carefully, you will or should know that in the older days in the supposed non-modernized societies, marriages lasted, because women were obedient to their husbands, and husbands, because that obedience respected their wives(figure out said wives, because polygamy was a norm back then), there were less single mothers if there were at all aside widows(that is those whos husbands were dead).

Women may not like to gamble but really like to shop and spend their money on things they like. On the other hand, men may like to gamble and prefer to save their money for gambling

But as I have seen in some casinos, most female gamblers don't have a husband, they don't even gamble using their husband's money, because no man wants to marry a woman who likes to gamble, believe me, it won't be found anywhere unless they have the same hobby, namely gambling as husband and wife. but other than that not seen a woman gamble in the casino with family status.

On average, it is usually women who gamble for money and make gambling their source of income, although it is difficult to find them gambling with gambling machines, on average, most female gamblers are found in land-based casinos where they play gambling directly instead of using their cellphones. but besides that, women are free to do anything in this modern era, even gambling using cellphones can be done.

Religion should not influence our life under any criteria, the laws that have been created for better or worse have been very beneficial for some, if we put a balance currently there are many rights for women, and that is very good, whether man or woman anyone has the right to do anything or activity, I lived in a society that was somewhat sexist, where women could not do anything, and religion supported that part a little and it is something that is not very good, men can do many things but cannot replace a woman either, both men and women are needed for everything in the world, both should be given duties and rights equally, just like in a casino.

I might not completely agree with you on this, first, its true that there are some women who naturally don't have interest in gambling because its not in their nature, same also can be said about some men too, there are some neighbors of mine who will never attempt gambling even if you offer to pay for the bet, they will tell you to give them the money that they will use it for some thing more important to them.
And then again, we can not deny the fact that most women also choose to stay away from gambling due to the fact that the society have installed in them the believe that its irresponsible for women to engage themselves in gambling, so aside the fact some of them naturally hate gambling, which like I've said is also found in some men, the society where they live also plays an important role to their decision of not engaging in gambling.

Yes, the position of women today is more advanced in various ways and is no longer what it used to be. They can do anything that men do and even men will not think a woman can do unusual things, including gambling. If a woman might not want to be asked to go to a casino in the past, now there are probably more women who do. Especially now that women can easily access the internet and explore the world of the internet, including visiting casino sites. This can make them play gambling secretly so we don't know what they are doing with their cell phones or laptops in their rooms.
